Mainly because of your videos I came to Jomtien last week and stayed for 4 days, it was nice , but for me the negative was so many Russians, most of them drunk when I was at Night Market. I moved up to Pattaya, but really appreciate your channel, its great .

Euro 900 a month for a room noisy streetside without balcony is rather expensive. Not even safe sidewalks. No tkx. Nicer places than Jomtien

Wide angle's good for soi type of shots, although it makes those soi's a lot wider looking than what they really are, great for baht bus shots as well. And your friends 555. Two way again, mixed feelings about that, it is better just one way for traffic, but is becoming a pain cycling upto 2nd road into heavy traffic, when all you want is a relaxing beach ride. And those drone shots wow!! I live there!!

I agree with most of what you've said, but obviously bar girls are just a subset of Thai women in general. I've even met several older Thai women who work good office jobs in Bangkok but freelance on the weekends as a form of dating (they're more picky with the men). The theme is that they all perceive western men (particularly white 40s+) as having more money and therefore gravitate towards them as a long term partner. In a bar setting (where alcohol is involved), it encourages the girls to say whatever she thinks you want to hear in order to attract you. I personally believe the definition of being in love in the west can be very different than in Asia.. you first need to understand the culture more before taking dating seriously.

Thanks Heath, the wife and I are staying at a hotel on Pratamnak hill in mid February is this a good spot for a couple that just likes walking , taste testing, the beach and occasional massage ? We don’t do bars or tours much maybe a trip over to Koh Larn that’s about it.

The drone video turned out great! Jomtien seems like a great place to retire, without the traffic jams that Pattaya seems to have. Is there an area of Jomtien with plenty of legitimate Thai massage studios so that people don't have to go into Pattaya for that service?

You must live in a bubble. Thailand is a large country. When you live in Pattaya you might think the whole country is a brothel where all young girls are working horizontally. But the reality is quite different.

Great video Heath & your drone really brings back the want of returning there mid year, Jomtien is my favorite Asian destination ,l have a disability and honestly l believe Jomtien is made for people with a disability and even in a wheel chair and l love staying at ViewTalay 2a , Maybe you could do a video one day about hotel accessibility for disabled Heath as yet l haven't seen one video, and yet many of us older people do appreciate Hotels that cater for people with various types of disabilities 🙏

Love your videos, however, not sure about the rather sad, melancholic type of music choice....as it looks a fabulous place to live, I think a bit more upbeat and happy tune would suit, just mho..😊

I remember one time I was staying in hotel I bankok I was watching in the pool in the morning &I could c it was getting dark I thought it was rain coming it was bad air coming but still a pleasant day 😊😊
