I don't care what people say about Army Painter, and i love it. Reasonably priced and just overall fun to use. I'm no pro but its still grest to use none the less
I love Thise new Fanatic paints. The old warpaints paints where a bit inconsistent but it worked for me😀
Vast majority of commission painters compare the Fanatic paints to Pro Acryl. Pretty sure that means these are good paints. 😅😅
@@fateweaver9844 hahaha Commission! I'm a sucker for just painting things for someone for the hell of it most of the times.
I knew people that did it themselves and I paid them for mini's for me long before I got into painting. After a lot of practice, I realized that we had about the same skill level and that I can finally do them myself.
I don't really know if charging 5-10$ counts as a commission or what not since I seen prices around 20+ for small ones you know.
I do have to feed my pain brushes, they tend to get hungry.
thank you for the Review and test! :)
Thank you for watching it👍
That was a great idea and it’s very helpful to see them all lined up. Fantastic and I am going to get at least six of them. That Red looks fantastic.
Glad it was helpful! Thank you :-)
The "true brass" would be perfect for Middle- Earth SBG Rivendell armour! 😮
You are so right, i didnt even think about that😀 it is a perfect match👍
i Asked that same question about colors while I was at AdeptiCon. The answer was, "those colors are in the Air Paint range, they didn't think they needed to duplicate the colors.. Very good review...
Thank you😀, i would have loved a purple, in tha same style like the cobolt metal, a silver color with a purple tint😀
Great video, was really glad to see the paints used to decide which to buy. Also the mix you mentioned for Sage inspired me, so i am gonna try using that for some magical metals!
Thank you😀 Glad it was helpful!
So I wasn't super impressed with their normal line of paints, they didn't do anything for me that pro acrylic or two thin coats hasn't done already, out side of the size of the range. Outside of Vallejo metal colors, I think these are some of the best metal paint, I was pleasantly surprised and impressed. I've only used deathmetal and the silver line, so I'm glad your video showed the others
Thank you😀 i really love those metallic paints, i have tried some GW and Vallejo paints but these new AP are just the best😀
@@olebrogger yeah I definitely say they jumped up their quality. I think I'm a little more at saying their my number two, but I would've never said that with their old metal paints. Such a good improvement, thank you for showing off all the metal paints.
Wow, the coverage on the first three are impressive!
I think so too!❤️
Love the Cobalt Metal! nice test! 😊
Thank you! I really love that cobalt too👍
I ended up selling off my complete set. I knew i shouldnt have jumped in the deep end but had a few gift cards so figured WTH. I liked alot colors in the range, but the normal acrylics were very desaturated, and had alot of white pigment, making mixing tough, The reds were definantly the low point of the set for me. The metallics, effects and washes are all fantastic.
I really love the acrylic paints, but they need a lot of shaking, I usually give them about 30-60sec on my vortexmixer. You are right about the reds. I need a deep red.some og the reds are almost pink.
I am not sure if this have been asked before.....But how do the work with Speedpaints? I am not a very painter so I have to utilize every advantage I can get ;-)
Working with speedpaint is easy, prime your miniature in white and paint it with speedpaints, one coat will give you shadow, midtone and highlights in one stroke. In this video i paint with the slapchop method ua-cam.com/video/aDmCzHXVO0k/v-deo.htmlsi=dcerYSXR9HtOv1nW
