I really enjoyed watching this! I’m a mom of 9 and have supported my large family of 11 100% online for over a decade. It’s more than possible and you guys are doing great!! I love seeing how the Lord has led your family every step of the way. ❤❤❤
Hi, I am a mother of 9 aswell.. Is there any advice you can give me on how to start something online aswell? I've homeschooling mine until this week. I still have 3 at home 4yrs and younger.. We are also in Harlem.. Any suggestions or advice is very welcomed.. Nicole
I had almost no traction online until Tiktok. But I think that’s because tiktok taught me how to make a little video. Traction in tiktok is hard too, but the barriers to entry are lower. Also I have found that talking to the camera got easier by practicing on tiktok. The best thing is that you can repurpose what you make there on UA-cam shorts as well. UA-cam is really pushing those. I find that things for a mom that do well are things that all moms struggle with, like food, shopping, meal planning, homeschool ideas, cleaning, organizing. I don’t do all of those but I find myself gravitating towards those things when I’m scrolling.
We came close to homelessness in the pandemic and really struggled to find a landlord that would give us a chance. We have 5 kids and live in Australia. Eventually with 1 week left, a landlord called me up and said he was the youngest of 5 kids and remembered how hard it was for his parents, so he wanted to give us a place!! We’ve been renting from him for 2 years now ❤
it’s so refreshing to see a family that believes children are a blessing and are more concerned with giving there kids the best than they are with themselves. Will be praying for you all.
They are entitled to have as many children as they wish. They are responsible parents and it’s obvious they are providing a stable environment for their children to thrive in.
@@sgajsgaj There is no way they give each of those children the individual one-on-one attention they deserve regularly. Also, any parent who chooses to exploit their kids on YT is a bad parent to me. Everybody knows how horrible it has been for a lot of children who have been forced to grow up in front of a camera.
You’re certainly entitled to your own opinion. Clearly none of their children are being neglected. They are learning how to cooperate and how to work together as a family. I’d put money in it that their children will become responsible citizens, which is what we need. Far too many children don’t receive the love and attention from their parents , and many are from small families or single parent families.
I have so much respect for you and your husband. I am from a family of 11, and I completely understand the hardships. Somehow by the grace of God, we were able to stay housed until we all moved away after school. My daughter and I were houseless for 2 years after I divorced and my attorney ex husband took everything, and refused to pay child support. It was so hard for my little girl who went from a beautiful home and private school to living with people she didn't know. She was in pre-professional ballet, and still at a private school while I had to live at my sisters 90 miles away. A family from the school offered to allow my daughter to stay with them M-F, and the mom was incredibly nice to take her to and from school, and ballet every day. On the weekends I would drive 90 miles to see her, but we had no place to stay, so we stayed at a Korean Spa that sold passes to stay over night, with many Korean families who stayed there for fun. Thank God for that! I'm sure the staff figured out we were houseless because they kicked us out at one point, and said we couldn't come back. That was an all time low in my life. We ended up going to other Korean spa's in the area, and would see the same unhoused ppl like us staying there. Sunday evenings were incredibly hard as I had to drop her off back with the family. We would sit in the car, crying because we had to say goodbye for the week. Too much for a 14 year old to go through. God saw us through though. I honestly still don't understand why He allowed it, but I trust in his ultimate plan. My daughter now lives in NYC! She is definitely a survivor because she moved there with $200 and she has a great job, and a beautiful apartment in Brooklyn/Queens area. Do you have a GOFUNDME?? You should start one for your kids musical expenses. People see this video and want to help. I would love to help, even if it's a little. God bless you all.
A story of grit, sacrifice and perseverance. Enduring times of struggle and frugality with simplicity for the sake of something greater. Your commitment to giving them the best possible musical foundation speaks loudly of your unconditional love as parents. Truly the biggest inspiration to other parents (me included) watching you on your journey.
You and Mark are amazing parents to sacrifice so much for your kids to have every opportunity to further their musical education. Large families get a bad rap, but you'll never regret the sacrifices for the blessings, love and support you all bring to each other!
Large families get a bad rep because nobody needs 10 children. I don't know why they get praised for doing what they should be doing because they chose to bring a new life into this world. Just because they are actually doing this as opposed to the parents who do the bare minimum doesn't mean they are deserving of praise.
It is very unusual to have that many individuals all be so passionate about such a narrow area of music and string instruments. No other musical gifts or art? Or science? Or literature? Ir law?
I hope your family thrives here in Manhattan -- which is not easy. I am a native and know first hand how expensive it is to live here. I would say: Be prepared for amazing -- out of the blue opportunities --- to seemingly occur out of nowhere. You will be amazed! Wishing you and your family the very best!
Oh my goodness, you and your family have gone through so much yet you still have this amazing outlook on life and you aren't bitter. You are a survivor!
Him telling us that he picked us because we had a big family felt like an absolute miracle after the bad situation in San Francisco. It really gave us hope.❤️
Amber, you have responded to most of these messages. You are such a hard worker! The whole city knows your family, now much of the country. Keep it up! We need to be reminded what it looks like when a family lives their dreams and values. Thank you!
Thank you for sharing your story. I love how supportive you and your husband are in investing in your children's futures. It is such an inspiring story.
Their futures also need to be in areas where they can be income earning adults to support themselves. It might mean more practical financially dependable careers and music as a hobby.
Ok that makes sense of why you moved to NYC. Thank you for the explanation. Although it is none of our business' why you moved. But it does help us understand your family better. It is amazing that you are putting your children first.
Hi Amber (& Mark) Thank you for telling us your family’s remarkable story of why you moved your family of 12 across country in pursuit of your children’s education and musical opportunities. Can you make a video about you and Mark’s love of music and what instruments you both play? Instilling a love and appreciation of music in your children, most likely has came from both of you, because you both seem equally invested. Gaining mastery of one’s instrument(s) is something that parents also play a big part in. Let alone, making sure each child is prepared and on time for their lessons, auditions, and performances. Please write a book someday on how you and your husband helped to cultivate musical excellency in all of your children.
Aw thank you! Yes the early stages of music learning are really loud… My husband and I both love music but we didn’t have much instruction as kids. We do play a bit though! When we saw that the kids had such a gift for music as they passed the different stages of their development we wanted them to have the best opportunities available. It’s been a journey but God has been really faithful in the midst. We don’t know the end of the story but we are learning to enjoy each day even though we don’t know the future!❤️
You just answered soooooo many questions I've had. And for the record, if anyone is reading this, I WOULD DEFINATELY WATCH A SHOW ABOUT THIS FAMILY! !!! WHY? Because they ARE REAL. No religious oddities, no put on drama for the crowd, no crazies, no child molesting brothers in the closest. A real family that happen to have a lot of kids, and a lot of talent. No doubt the kids argue just like kids do...I'd love to see a weekly show about them.
Thank you for sharing your Story. As a single mom(widow), homeschooling, striving to do Gods will in an often, seemingly Godless world, can be daunting and discouraging. Knowing others are working hard in spite of limited resources and doing it with such enthusiasm and positivity is so encouraging. God bless your beautiful family 🎶 ❤
Thank you for your words. Yes the whole pandemic thing completely derailed our plans and without assistance during that time we would have drowned. I feel it’s good to experience that in life, because if you never struggle you don’t understand what other people are going through.
This story is wild in a great way! Practicing in the graveyard! Wow!! I loved the story of how God provided for you as you worked your way through life from minimum wage type jobs up to where you are now. God bless you
When I start a family in the future, I hope it’ll be as full of love and support that you all have created with your family. Truly inspiring to watch 💕
So happy for your family and all you've endured & persevered through. Love watching your kids play their music too. So refreshing in these days. God bless your family!
I am a new sub and love watching your content. I cannot believe the trailer park kicked you and your family out during the pandemic!! I do understand people being concerned about some level of noise but I would have let you live at my house just to hear the beautiful music!!! I’m glad it worked out in the end, God is so good and only gives you what you can handle. Your sacrifice for your children is inspiring and you are all in my prayers.
My grandma, uncle, aunt and mom are all buried in a local graveyard. How I would love to hear music playing while visiting their graves. Praying that God continues blessing your family with health and answering your prayers for financial guidance. 🙏🏼
I’m so moved by your hardships, your pursuits and your accomplishments, there can’t be a better and positive story. And the smiles from everyone of your family in your videos are so genuine and infectious! Highly recommend everyone watch them, and take in the positivity. Keep on going, pray for God’s continuing Grace, and the best of luck 😊
I am the oldest of 6, I know the hectic love of a large family. Bless all of you. Your amazing family that sacrificed so much for your children. I think it’s wonderful many and prayers to you and your family. So many parents are just walking away from their kids now days, but your doing what ever it takes to keep your family happy and moving forward to better their lives. I will make sure to follow you on all social media platforms. ❤❤❤
Really appreciate you sharing your story with us, im a new subscriber and understand more now. Wishing all the best for your family in music and all the things they wish for in their future! ❤❤❤
Such a small world. I saw the Breshears kids play at a masterclass in Chico that I was auditing with a friend of mine. Well, not auditing, more watching. My friend Julie Brown was taking the class. My daughter & I take Cello & violin lessons. Your family is a inspiration ❤
Wow! You know them too! Meeting them was such an inspiration to us. The kids were pretty unmotivated in their practice and the Breshears really helped us get back on track!
You found an elegant solution. Neighbors really don't appreciate the noise nor should they have to endure it. However, playing in the park, etc. was a considerate solution.
Awesome video Awesome sweet dearest friends The Happy Caravan and wow story always lots of hugs and love to you all hope you all are having a wonderful and fun and safe and Blessed day today 😊❤️💕💜
It really is an amazing genre. With all the fancy editing that pop music has, classical music can be harder to engage with, but if you give it a chance it’s pretty remarkable!🎶❤️
This is such a testimony to your positive outlook and sense of determination. Your children are very lucky. You and your husband sound to have fought tooth and nail for the dream. You work very well together as a family. How wonderful. I love watching your family. Much love from Minnesota. We visited NYC about 5 years ago. I give you so much credit for the hussle you must have . Having a big family in New York I imagine is very expensive.
Oh, darling girl, what an incredible story! Your family is massively inspiring. My daughter and I avidly watch the practice sessions and then she'll go and research the pieces of music we've heard. I wish you all tonnes of luck xx
Great job! I hope everyone gets a scholarship! I am from NYC, went to school at NEC in Boston, but now live in NM where we now have free college tuition up through the Bachelor’s degree for residents.
Incredible story. You gave it your all to give your children the best chance to succeed with their talents. I listened to their practices on you tube with the traditional Christmas songs and they really should make a cd. I certainly would promote it I dont think they would need much promoting as the music would sell itself. The sidewalk/staircase MJ was extraordinary.
Hi Amber and Marc and kids, new subscriber from Australia! As a mama of kids who play cello and violin, I understand the sacrifices as parents you make to give them opportunities for lessons etc. Your story is very encouraging, and I pray for God’s blessings for your family. Am excited to see his plans for your family in NYC.
Thank you! Yes, I know one way or another God will work it out! I do get REALLY nervous sometimes, but God has been very faithful throughout the years.❤️
I love watching your family here online. Nothing but praise for you all. The struggle is real for sure. You will all be in my prayers daily. The children are beautiful and well behaved. Wishing you all the best. Patt
I just love watching your families journey in NYC. I’m originally from San Diego too. I lived in the LaMesa area/ElCajon area until I settled in Memphis. I can’t imagine the life shock y’all got moving to NYC. You’ve done the right thing for your children though. You are in the right place for artistic children. I’m sure you miss San Diego, I know I do, but financially I couldn’t ever live there again. They don’t call it “The world’s finest city” for nothing! I don’t know much about NYC but I love that the places you show us are THE places I’ve always been interested in.
Bravo! You are setting your kids up for success! You are teaching them family values and cohesiveness.. I took a chance on a woman who was disabled with children and rented her my four bedroom home and she was a model tenant. When you pray and ask God for guidance or He leads you He does not let you down.
Your story of sacrifices make me admire your strong cores values that you’re teaching your children. You have big dreams and you go for it!! This is a story of motivation, Thanks for sharing. Welcome to NYC,I’ve been living here for the past 20 years. I’ll be one of your new subscribers. Love your channel❤️❤️
I just discovered you and your family (thank you UA-cam for the suggestion) I'm a classical music lover and I think kids are a blessins. I'm going to follow your journey and pray for you all. Much love from Paris, France
I’m new so this is a genuine question: what if your children don’t want to pursue music? Would you be ok with that? Please don’t exploit your children, it is not their job to contribute it’s their job to go to school and learn to be good humans and productive citizens. You and their father are the ones that need to provide. Please let them enjoy their childhood while they can. I’m sure you mean well but this doesn’t sit right w me.
I understand. I definitely want the kids to pursue whatever they love. So far most have wanted to pursue music in undergrad. But Josiah is definitely looking at law. Pearl loves to sew, Naomi loves to compose. Their are so many options.
I just love your energy! I can definitely see how you can keep up with 9 kids! In fact, you speak so fast at times I could not understand you. You and your family deserve so much happiness and success. I am praying your financial needs will be met beyond your wildest dreams! Much love and happiness to you.
I’m so glad this popped up and automatically started after watching a video from “Not Enough Nelson’s”! I’m so intrigued and interested more about this family!
God Bless you, Amber. In spite of the setbacks you have experienced over the years, you are holding it together well. You have God in the driver’s seat. It will work out. Thank you for sharing. Your children are beautiful and have a very firm foundation. Keep up the good work!
Amber! We love what you do. You guys are gutsy, and I admire your faith. We had some turbulence during the pandemic. It was nowhere near what you guys experienced, but I feel like we complained about our difficulties about 100% more than you have, ahaha. My husband and I teach music lessons full time (piano, cello, violin and viola.) We homeschool and our daughter is 5 years old and practices her tiny cello multiple times per day. You guys are such an inspiration to us! Thanks for taking us on this journey with you. Just a reminder that when life throws curveballs at you, you pray, practice your instruments, and keep going.😜
God is good ALL THE TIME! Remain faithful and he will see you thru. I prayed Jeremiah 29:11 over your family. I really enjoy your channel and hope that your family stays encouraged.
What a great story! You and your partner are so strong for making such big decisions and sacrifices to give your kids the best chance at careers in music! I aspire to be a parent like you!
Love your channel, new subscriber here. My granddaughter does graphic design and she also took up photography. Your husband may do that also and make extra money. It’s very lucrative to do weddings and private photo shoots. Just an idea I had. But I love your family and your children are wonderful and so talented, keep it up. You will get more subscribers. It takes time. I live in Michigan near Detroit. I look forward to your videos and I find them very interesting. Thank you for sharing.❤
Portuguese people are known for giving people a chance☺️ my grandparents and parents were born and raised in Portugal 🇵🇹 I was born and raised in California 🌴 I wish your family the best ❤️
This is so sad at the same time your voice make me feel your a fighter and knew how to go about this not only for yourself but you had to keep it together for the kids and the biggest kid your husband. Your amazing! Keep being you and your love for your family. Before you know it they will all be grown and let you rest.
Best of luck in anything you wishes yourself and your family, find your peace in your adventures, you’re on right track and your story is valuable to tell, be comfortable sharing it.
What a interesting journey your family is on, the challenges you have faced with housing is incredible to me. It does sound like you are where you need to be for music and I wish you all the best of luck. I am glad you are in a safe home and Merry Christmas!
Just came across your channel. I find you so interesting! I’d love to see your kids practicing and playing. I’m also interested in how you homeschool. Thanks for the videos!
Amber u are an awesome mom and person ! ❤ U and Marc are awesome parents and sacrificed everything for your kids ! U are raising awesome children and awesome little responsible human beings !!!! Take care u and your family !!!!
All I can say is you are an AMAZING family! Wow. And you’re such a loving mother, so I can see why. I’d love to know more about how you homeschool in the midst of all their interests, as well as whether you planned each baby or just left it open for another baby to come … did you always want a large family etc. May the Lord continue to bless and provide for all your needs, it’s very inspiring ❤️
Aw thank you! We usually use spectrum workbooks from Amazon for language arts. We use Aleks for math and usually we buy used history and science books. The kids also love to read and I find if I tell the kids to turn off their screens, the next thing they do is pull out a book. We’ve kind of trusted the Lord for each one of our kids. I’m sometimes a nervous Nellie but God has been faithful. Thank you for your encouragement!❤️
Your children all seem so well adjusted, happy and extremely talented, so you’re doing something right! It’s wonderful to see. We are a family of 7 in the city of Vancouver BC and it’s very rare to see other large families in the city, homeschooling etc. So I enjoy your channel and seeing a large family making it work in the city. God bless you all
God Bless you and your family. Y'all will no doubt bring joy and light to the world! My son is a college sophomore and hopes to marry the woman he has been courting for 3 years (who he met on Instagram and through zoom bible study and they fly back and forth and stay with our respective families) right after graduation and have a lot of children ( they are both musicians but he will go into mathematics and she will be a conductor or music teacher).
What a beautiful story of God’s providence. I’m sure you don’t have the time for these types of videos very often but they’re my favorite. I watch all the other ones too though.
Hello from Oregon, wow what a shopping day your family goes threw. But there's no way I could do it I'm blessed my family left that area when I was a child. Your a very strong family and live a great life together.

@JoAnn Wood The word is "Mormon".
What a blessing!
Many people with many children do not think about what happens down the road if one or both parents are out of work or sick or pass away.

you gave so much information..we can take a chance now and leave our comfort zone. thank you!
Thank you so much for your encouragement!🙏🥰❤️
God will continue caring for you. Stay faithful
She sure can talk! So glad to have found your video and interesting hearing about your family.
❤️🙏Aw thanks! 🥰
My grandma, uncle, aunt and mom are all buried in a local graveyard. How I would love to hear music playing while visiting their graves.
Praying that God continues blessing your family with health and answering your prayers for financial guidance. 🙏🏼
Thank you! Yes, we made friends with the gardener at the graveyard and he would come and listen in between his tasks.❤️
Thanks
Thank you!🙏☺️❤️
Your story is very fascinating. You and your husband seem like such a great team ❤
❤️❤️❤️
I am the oldest of 6, I know the hectic love of a large family. Bless all of you. Your amazing family that sacrificed so much for your children. I think it’s wonderful many and prayers to you and your family.

Talk about being upfront and honest! Love your content…best of luck!
Really appreciate you sharing your story with us, im a new subscriber and understand more now. Wishing all the best for your family in music and all the things they wish for in their future! ❤❤❤
Thanks for sharing your story so proud you and your family keep doing videos. You got this God is Good all the time
Thanks for sharing your story, I like your ramble videos, very interesting insights!
Aw thanks! I need to be more to the point. I’m working on that 😅❤️🙏Thank You for being part of our journey!
❤️❤️❤️
You’re adorable and amazing and I can’t wait to see your family’s dreams all come true!
Thank you so much!❤️
Awesome video Awesome sweet dearest friends The Happy Caravan and wow story always lots of hugs and love to you all hope you all are having a wonderful and fun and safe and Blessed day today 😊❤️💕💜

You and yours are amazing. God bless you and keep you.😊
❤️🙏
Maybe just maybe your family will help bring back classical music to the hearts and minds of Americans
It really is an amazing genre. With all the fancy editing that pop music has, classical music can be harder to engage with, but if you give it a chance it’s pretty remarkable!🎶❤️
Thank you, I love the transparency. Thank you for sharing your family and your hearts with the world.
Thank you for your encouragement!🙏❤️
Oh, darling girl, what an incredible story! Your family is massively inspiring. My daughter and I avidly watch the practice sessions and then she'll go and research the pieces of music we've heard. I wish you all tonnes of luck xx
Thank you so much! That means so much to me!🙏❤️
Cooking and NY field trips with your family would be wonderful to watch.
Great job! I hope everyone gets a scholarship! I am from NYC, went to school at NEC in Boston, but now live in NM where we now have free college tuition up through the Bachelor’s degree for residents.
Wow that’s so cool!❤️
I listened to your story while getting ready. What an inspiration for others who are trying make leaps of faith.
Thank you!❤️🙏
You are a great crew!!! Hang in there.....
Aw thank you! Yes we want to make a recording!❤️🙏
Patt
❤️🙏
I just love watching your families journey in NYC. I’m originally from San Diego too. I lived in the LaMesa area/ElCajon area until I settled in Memphis. I can’t imagine the life shock y’all got moving to NYC. You’ve done the right thing for your children though. You are in the right place for artistic children. I’m sure you miss San Diego, I know I do, but financially I couldn’t ever live there again. They don’t call it “The world’s finest city” for nothing! I don’t know much about NYC but I love that the places you show us are THE places I’ve always been interested in.
Aw thank you! Yes perfect weather comes at a price! Rent is high here but thankfully with public transportation we don’t have to pay much in gas!
Thank you for sharing your life with me! I really enjoyed this video and love Your Channel💜
Thank you so much! We really appreciate your encouragement!🙏❤️
Enjoyed your back story struggle clicked on Costco NYC due to curiosity and now watching your stories
Thank you!❤️🙏
Thank you for your videos your family is wonderful
I just discovered you and your family (thank you UA-cam for the suggestion) I'm a classical music lover and I think kids are a blessins. I'm going to follow your journey and pray for you all.
Much love from Paris, France
Thank you!🎶☺️❤️
I’m new so this is a genuine question: what if your children don’t want to pursue music? Would you be ok with that? Please don’t exploit your children, it is not their job to contribute it’s their job to go to school and learn to be good humans and productive citizens. You and their father are the ones that need to provide. Please let them enjoy their childhood while they can. I’m sure you mean well but this doesn’t sit right w me.
I understand. I definitely want the kids to pursue whatever they love. So far most have wanted to pursue music in undergrad. But Josiah is definitely looking at law. Pearl loves to sew, Naomi loves to compose. Their are so many options.
@@TheHappyCaravan you have beautiful children!!!!!
Thank you!
Thank you so much for sharing - this was so fascinating. I steer clear of social media, but I do hope you keep posting here on UA-cam! 🙂
Aw thank you! Yes social media can be a real jungle so I understand!❤️
I just love your energy! I can definitely see how you can keep up with 9 kids! In fact, you speak so fast at times I could not understand you. You and your family deserve so much happiness and success. I am praying your financial needs will be met beyond your wildest dreams! Much love and happiness to you.
Thank you ❤️🙏
I’m so glad this popped up and automatically started after watching a video from “Not Enough Nelson’s”! I’m so intrigued and interested more about this family!
Thank you🙏❤️
God Bless you, Amber. In spite of the setbacks you have experienced over the years, you are holding it together well. You have God in the driver’s seat. It will work out. Thank you for sharing. Your children are beautiful and have a very firm foundation. Keep up the good work!
Thank you! We really appreciate the encouragement 🥰
Thank you for your encouragement!❤️🙏
God is good ALL THE TIME! Remain faithful and he will see you thru. I prayed Jeremiah 29:11 over your family. I really enjoy your channel and hope that your family stays encouraged.
Thank you!🙏❤️
You are so much fun to listen to. I think you are going to be big. Blessings to you and your family.
❤️🙏

Retired Director of a School of Music in West Bloomfield, Michigan. Love your commitment to your children's musical education. Carry on...🙂
What a great story! You and your partner are so strong for making such big decisions and sacrifices to give your kids the best chance at careers in music! I aspire to be a parent like you!
❤️🙏
Love that you instilled music in your kids

I know somehow it will all work out❤️
Best of luck in anything you wishes yourself and your family, find your peace in your adventures, you’re on right track and your story is valuable to tell, be comfortable sharing it.
🙏❤️
What a interesting journey your family is on, the challenges you have faced with housing is incredible to me. It does sound like you are where you need to be for music and I wish you all the best of luck. I am glad you are in a safe home and Merry Christmas!

Not being open about being on welfare
❤️🙏🥰
Thanks for sharing your story. Love watching your kids play music together.
Thank you!🙏❤️
What a beautiful story of God’s providence. I’m sure you don’t have the time for these types of videos very often but they’re my favorite. I watch all the other ones too though.
Aw thank you! 🙏❤️
