While I was having a morning walk I stopped in front of You Tube music awhile for sifting through all music presentations to find out anything which suited my tastes for listening to at home in the evening.Suddenly you appeared there and dragged me ( lonely walker) by my both hands and took me to your repository of classics. After making myself at home you switched on the video and the music started playing. Then you yelled at me " Enjoy the wonderful music,if you want" and immediately left the room.I was all alone in the room. The only consolation was that the wonderful music was of Boccerini's. During the pre- you tube era I had enjoyed Boccerini's minuet through a CD containing compositions of different maestros.Other than the minuet I didn't know any other compositions of Boccerini. Even after one hour of listening I didn't want to go.I heard out the presentation of more than three hours. Many of the pieces of fine music I enjoyed here were already heard by me through you tube live streaming but I was not aware that Boccerini was the composer of the enchanting music.Such a great composer who created the magnificent music! It was a memorable day for me knowing closely the great music of Boccerini. I don't know whom I should thank for this wonderful opportunity - luck or the lawbreaker who dragged me illegally and yet offered me this opportunity? Anyway, exceptional indeed your illegal activity of enchanting music lovers. This music lover was enamoured by enchanting music of Boccerini! I hope you will continue with this illegal activity - an activity in which the provoker is not the real beneficiary , rather all the benefits are accrued to the 'victim' , affectionately called aficionado of music.Wow.Bravo.Gfacias!!!
Julius, a good friend of mine, was given access to this cello at the beginning of his academic career. While in Prague doing some research, he came across these works by Boccherini. The last time they were performed was by Boccherini himself on the same instrument Julius is using here. Thus the circle has closed.
+Laurence Matson He plays the instrument beautifully. I can only imagine Boccherini would be overjoyed to see that his works (finally) and his old cello are in such safe hands.
*Thus, the circle has been closed.
Hang on, anecdotal information from the time says that Dr Stephen Maturin used the same instrument on some of his voyages on the Surprise.
There is a very famous painting of Boccherini, quite accurate for a painting, represents the cello well also. Do you have any idea if the cello your friend plays is the same cello in the painting?
Journeyman Cellist I have not seen that painting, but if you have it, I could ask Julius.
Cuanta belleza.
Such beauty. Thank you so much
Elegante e geniale, Boccherini patrimonio del mondo.
I cannot decide which is more beautiful, the music or the painting. Both are exquisite!
Gracias. Maravilloso Boccherini.
Tepper Michael.
this song, make me dream in a better future, in coexistence between the natural life and the humans. make me feel that we have opportunity for be better beings
WOW! All his cello concerts were written in major keys. Way to go Boccherini!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you ever so much....I'm not as familiar with this composer........this music is just stunning. The photo tag is beautiful to look at. What a gift!
Played on Boccherini's cello really! Amazing if true!
Unfortunately not, according to a report of his belongings in 1787 after his second wedding, he was in the posession was a Cello by Jacobus Stainer, the famous attributed Stradivarius can, until today, not be confirmed.
Beautiful! Been listening all morning 🌄
Painting: View on misty mountains from lothlorien
+rannoudanames That is pretty much exactly how I pictured that piece of the geography of Middle Earth when I first read lotr about thirty five years ago! Shows what great writing it is, as Tolkien used very few actual descriptions of landscape, and yet the impressions he's created in his readers over the decades have been remarkably consistent. All the illustrations that have been produced, not to mention the film, tend to be more consistent regarding the landscape than they are with the orcs or wargs for instance. Cheers for reminding me!
My pleasure!
it's a painting by Bierstadt
Sempre pensei o Vivaldi e o Bach como maiores criadores melódicos. Mas Bocherini é surpreendente. Borda jardins de frases musicais. Prazer. Carinho na alma.
UA-cam, you have good taste: great music, marvelous paintings. These days, one can't go to the concert or to the museum. Thank you.
This is my favorite music to study and read to.
Wonderful music, thanks for introducing me to Boccherini!
Excellent interpretation of this composition; a joy to listen to.
Predilecto Luigi Boccherini, grandioso creador de ideas musicales. cómo he desfrutado de tu maravilloso legado.
What a stupendous treat to hear this music passed on by 3 masters! Boccherini, Stradivari and master musical interpreter Julius Berger! And the orchestra, of course. Thank you for the down load.
Thank you Mathieu Ouattara

The biggest reason I like classical music over rock is the continuity.Rock songs last 4 minutes, maybe.
Sublime. I love the tone of the cello. Thank you.
Boccherini was a cellist. All these concertos, all better than Haydn's and Dvorak's. And so much more pleasing to listen to. Why aren't these on classical radio from morning to evening? I also like Giuseppe di Majo's on UA-cam a lot. And Leonardo Leo's are also a cut above the rest.
!!! Tepper Michael.
I am tragically sorry for the 240 souls who did not like THIS TREASURE !!!!!! Tepper Michael.
Raffaella .

This is actually my favorite painting in the world. A print of it was in the computer room when I studied for my G.E.D., and I'd always try to sit by it. :) Some nice music to go with it, too...
Among the Sierra Nevada Mountains, California. Painted by Albert Bierstadt, who's done a number of other very nice landscapes. :)
Wish I had that print next to me when I studied for my GED at the JC. It would have been funner and more inspiring.
Wonderful baroque masterpieces, thank you so much for posting them, I have loved Boccherini for a long time.
Boccherini lived till 1805. His music is classical period and not baroque.
@@journeymancellist9247 he is a classical but a baroque wannabe
he was*
I'm still coming back to this after 5 years. Just wonderful. The tone of the Stradivarius is out of this world and the interpretation all that you could want.
Ridolfo Luigi Boccherini 1743 - 1805 an Italian classical era composer and cellist whose music retained a courtly and galante style while he matured somewhat apart from the major European musical centers. Boccherini is most widely known for one particular minuet from his String Quintet in E, Op. 11, No. 5 (G 275), and the Cello Concerto in B flat major (G 482) ....(wiki)
......and BIerstadt's landscape marries perfectly.....Bravo from Acapulco!
Joy of the crowd, World Sadness and Resurrection !!! Tepper Michael.
Oh, the wonderful sound of that cello!
Boccherini, great friend of mine. I never had money, it was my turn to pay. I always went with a very big violin, they threw us from everywhere. What great memories, I have not seen him for a long time.
Freude der Menge, Welt Traurigkeit und Auferstehung !!! Tepper Michael.
Beautiful!!!

Lake Louise in Banff National Park in Alberta Province of Canada comes pretty close when one erases from one's memory the hotel, motorized vehicles, parking lot, infrastructure and tourists that were in the vicinity.
No need to erase - just get on a nice horse, & go tour the trails; &, there you are, right in the (yes, magnificent) landscape!
Thank you! I was going to ask about the painting xD
Really beautifull
Great music to write by. I'll be purchasing the CDs.
MARAVILLOSO....!
