Consider this: You are listening to Vivaldi who died in July of 1741. You are in the year 2020, in the year 3041 people will still be listening to Vivaldi. You will be long gone but thanks to you and others like you for listening to this wonderful music Vivaldi's classics will live on in the human race.
....long after 3041 hopefully...but what if anything is the significance of 3041?
If, and that is a BIG if, the human race survives that much longer.
..2022..thanks for reminding me my age..but go for it..
@@sdorr I think it has no meaning, he/she just picked a random year in distant future
Nah M8 in 3041 people will be listening to The Prodigy and Venetian Snares
I’m an old(ish) punk. Grew up influenced by The Dead Kennedys, Sex Pistols, The Exploited, etc. I was on my way home from work, back in the early 90s, and accidentally switched the radio over to classical. It was a Vivaldi cello concerto. I’d never heard anything so emotional, so powerful. I still love punk rock, but Vivaldi opened the doors to the arts for me. I thoroughly enjoy virtually all forms of music now, and love the visual arts. Thanks V!
It's just that they didn't have anything to yell at yet; They did it with the orchestras and told their stories using the madness from within rather than high -energy drums and rebellion against society, which I love both at times! Glad to hear this.
You've grown soft, betrayed the movement!
Dead Kennedys, Sex Pistols, The Exploited, etc are a BOWEL movement!

So charming and so voluminous. Antonio did the world a cultural favor that keeps on giving. I've been listening to his works for over 50 years. Thanks for posting.
When I listen to these classical masterpieces, I forget that there is a World out there. I am totally immersed into its world, its meaning, its whatever. That tells you a lot.

I'm lost, are these all references to something??
A true genius. Such breath taking melodies for his time.
well not surprising considering he is the best composer of his time, which happens to be the time period when music, and all forms of fine arts, reached its peak.
❤
I love Vivaldi!!!!
This is so wonderful. Let's give our many thanks to the red headed Venetian priest.
Idon't know if there are people who still listens to classical music.but this the real music..

Go! Go! Go! You will never regret it.
appreciating how some have a gift for conveying music to paper, and back to our ears through the cello.....and also for those that sincerely appreciate the end result
Vivaldi is eternal!
Best composer!! I simply can't get enough of Vivaldi❤
Whilst I have no issue with Vivaldi and much admire his work, may I suggest that whilst your enthusiasm is not doubted "Best composer" is not the appropriate term - rather "my favourite" - you surely have not heard the works of every other composer to claim "best" and in any event "best" is a subjective judgment rather than statement of fact.
Marvelous!!!!!!!!!! The energy abounds and then, sweet softness falls. Thanks.
I live through Vivaldi's music vividly, the courage is glad and gives us hope. It's the feature that there are a lot of repeats of a melody for simplicity, but that gives the cure which can be called nothing to us who live through small today.
Wow.
Amo Vivaldi♥♥♥
Superb concertos, all 27! The C minor, RV 401 is really special, a sublime masterpiece. Unusually, it begins with a slow movement. A very deep, melancholy, soulful and relaxing piece all at the same time.
the 401 has always been one of my favorite baroque cello concertos
I go to sleep every night to this. Thank you so much.
Me too. It’s beautiful every time.
A giant composer. One of my favorite composers.. All of his works are alive in my heart. Thanks for uploading.
HEART SOOTHING MUSIC AND REAL MUSIC. I LOVE IT DEARLY....
A Whole new world , rediscovered in depth and Gratitude.
Antonio Vivaldi is my favorite composer that ever existed in the heavens above being such an expertise musician that ever lived and will ever be.
Antonio Vivaldi composed music better than Yanni ever did and will ever be in the heavens above being such an expertise musician that ever lived.
Vivaldi Is a legend.
Vinay N.K Not all of his music, but he does tend to use other melodies from other pieces. For example, you'll often hear hints of la stravagenza in some of his pieces.
@@vinaynk Stravinsky said Vivaldi composed 400 times the same concerto... what a shame! NOT AT ALL. From the last 20 years, many different orchestra try to prove how wrong was that prejudice! What Stravinsky said about Vivaldi , you could say same about many baroque musicians... if you don't know well their masterpieces. The problem is the interpretation! Directors and orchestra should wake up this music, with a non traditional interpretation.
Magnífico!!
@@vinaynk I like it but it is samey.

Vivaldi resonated with me at nine, marking my first classical encounter. Five decades on, his music remains a timeless companion.

Thank you for sharing 4 hours of high quality Vivaldi!
Superb! I can listen to this over and over again.
This particular songs seems it be the right catalysis I needed to finish my English paper however, the painting reminds me-quite vividly-of my years out on the ocean on an aircraft carrier. While working I would pass by the open bay doors and stop to stare at the oncoming sun rise or the setting sun. After six years on the ocean for 6 to 10 months at a time, there was never a repeat setting of the clouds or the sun shining back-up from the open waters. Sometimes, I can feel myself wanting to go back out there.
TheYokoHog I sure hope it helped you, considering how many English mistakes are in this post.
MattrickBT Name 4
Free Software Tutorials 1. "This particular songs" should be "These particular songs."
2. They are called pieces, not songs.
3. "Seems it be" should be "Seems to be"
4. It should be 'catalysts', not 'catalysis', and if catalysis is the intended word, for it to be grammatically correct, it must be pluralised.
5. There should be a semicolon before 'however', or a period; there is not even a comma.
6. Dashes are not required around "quite vividly", that parenthetical statement can be encased in simple commas. In fact, it should just read "vividly reminds me", and it should be re-worked to ditch the adverb.
That's six. Shall I move onto sentence number two?
Yes, I want you to analyze the entire comment.
+MattrickBT Well that is impressive. Good news is that I slid by with a passing grade. Not to shabby for an old knuckle dragger like myself. Keep up the good work.

Damiano Piras Music it's like air to me. Yeah, it's me. I'm almost 40, but look younger.
wow, really I would have given you 18 years. Today at 39 he is still young, but I think, based on what appears to me as your taste in music ("out of time"), inside yet younger, always trying to find something new in everything
+Damiano Piras Indeed, always looking for something fresh and exciting. Something to fill the soul with new emotions and inspiration. Music can transport you to another world.
I had little doubt about it, yet excuse my audacity, I have to admit that my greatest interest, although it is a big fan of baroque music, was caused by the appearance of your image. I live in Italy, in Rieti, unfortunately, very close to where there was the last earthquake. I was glad you told me, I will be glad if we could continue to have a dialogue. My name is Damiano, I'm Italian
