In this new episode, I am going to continue our discussion on resistance. As I pointed out in the first part of this series, resistance is the biggest hurdle in your recovery. So in this episode, I want to dive a little deeper and explain why resisting intrusive thoughts paradoxically creates more intrusive thoughts. I am also going to discuss why the very first thing you need to address with intrusive thoughts is your resistance to them. Enjoy the show. - Розваги

Is it common for someone with OCD to tear up paper (rip) break pencils and talk to them self?
When will your book be released?
I've tried solving, tried not solving the thoughts, tried medication, nothing seems to work. I try not to resist the thoughts but they can be really upsetting and I feel stuck and hopeless.
i say pursue ERP therapy with the intensity of a thousand thors hammers
read mans search for meaning by victor frankl
listen to jordan peterson discuss psychology
read stoic literature
imbibe the philosophies
what has helped me immensely is a combo of doing the gold standard ERP stuff in combination with repeatedly exposing myself to knowledge passed down through the ages on topics of courage and resilience
if you do the long term science-based work you get better over time and combine it with a base layer of courage in the face of sufferring, you can win the war.
summon hope from the depths of your mind, as marcus auerlius said, "there is a source of strength which will always spring up if you should always look"
now i sometimes giggle at the thoughts when they come up, for i realize there exists the ability in humans to let them wash over you like waves of water, with no response from you needed
