  • in this video {965} Testing microwave oven diode using series lamp, How To Test CL01-12 high voltage rectifier Diode for Microwave Oven, it is CL01-12(12kV/350mA) diode, its VRRM is 12KV and average forward current is 350 mA, while forward junction voltage are 12V. High Voltage Plastic Diode, Reverse Voltage 12kV, Forward Current 350mA, High surge proof resistivity, it belongs to 2CL diverse series of high frequency, high voltage rectifiers family. it is designed for prolonged use at and high temperature. The 2CL is notable for its avalanche breakdown protection in addition to a low leakage current and fast recovery time. Each semiconductor comes in an axial epoxy resin package that is heat resistant to temperatures up to 150 degree Celsius and down to negative forty Celsius

    I know all this stuff as an electronic engineer - Mr Hasseeb explains this very simple and true. Like to keep up with things. I always forget a lot, he brings me back to trade school from yesterday. Thank-you Sir - much obliged.

    Another great way is to use a lab power supply with 10mA current limit and 15V. When leads are present, the power supply will show the voltage drop across the diode.
    It is easier and less dangerous.

      @HaseebElectronics  Рік тому

      exactly
      we can use 9 volt battery, or any variable power supply
      as i explained in video number 813

    You can also use a 9v battery to test a HV diode and its safer for new users.

    • @HaseebElectronics
      @HaseebElectronics  Рік тому

      exactly yes
      as i already explained in my video number 813 for a safe testing
      but this was question from my viewer
      i love questions, comments, opinions, suggestions
