  • Shifting our focus from being disabled to being uniquely abled is the foundation of doing resistance training with ankylosing spondylitis. When I execute an exercise, I have an acute sense of good form that demands strength in my core in order to protect areas made vulnerable by AS. This means I can better target the muscle while working more efficiently.
