- My fastest lap in Nürburgring Nordschleife btg.
the car does not have a specific setup for the nordschleife and I only have 29 laps on the counter (15 with this car), the car has more potential for improvement

tenia mal regulada la compresion del amortiguador delantero derecho, me equivoque y le di al lado contrario (va abajo y no se ve bien), lo cual me hace plantearme muchas cosas 🤣

How did you get the car down to 1170kg?
Car only weighs around 1250kg stock I would assume the upgraded suspension components weigh less he has full exhaust aftermarket wheels etc possibly stripped rear

Excellent driving sir.Possibly the fastest naturally aspirated gt86/BRZ BTG video on UA-cam? As other people who commented, if only there was no traffic, you would've easily broken the 8 minute barrier. But its hard on TF. Are you interested to try out the new GR86 with its 2.4 engine?
thanks, according to what I have been told yes, it is the fastest lap for a naturally aspirated, which is surprising because the car has more potential for improvement. I would love to try a gr86, without a doubt it will be much faster.

nothing special, -3° camber front, -2.5° rear, -0.10' toe out front and 0.10' toe in rear.

Great lap, the GT86 is so much fun on the Nordschleife. Best car I have driven there so far. Does the car have an oil cooler & baffle plate and what oil are you running ? As this is a 2014 model, do you monitor oil pressure and temperature ?
It has an oil cooler, the maximum temperature on the track is 115°C, I have a temperature gauge, I haven't put the pressure gauge on yet, but it's in my plans

Gozando con la vuelta. Justo ahora ando mirando el GR86 nuevo. Crees que compensa la nueva versión o con el GT86 iría sobrado? Sobre todo por el tema de que el par el tuyo lo da a mucho régimen y el nuevo ya lo da a las 3,5k (creo).
depende del uso que le vayas a dar, esta claro que el gr es mejor en todo, pero depende de cada uno valorar si esa diferencia compensa la diferencia de precio y la espera para que te llegue (+9meses), intenta probar un gt86 antes de decidirte

Hey Ruben. I'm thinking about installing a 4.67 final drive myself. But I'm still unsure if the better acceleration isn't cancelled out by the increased amount of shifts around the Nordschleife. Objectively seen, would you say you're setting faster lap times on the tracks you're driving (not just the Nordschleife) than with the stock final drive?
Definitely yes, it's going to be faster with him, although maybe he would install a 4.55.
Si no llegas a pillar al VW en Brunnchen hubieras bajado del 8 (o te hubieras quedado cerca). Que buena vuelta Rubén, enhorabuena.
si, entre eso y algun pequeño fallo se escapo el under8, pero es normal, una vuelta limpia en tf es imposible

What do you think made more of a difference. The kW coilovers or KW sway bars with SPl end links in regards to lap times and driver confidence?
kw coilovers, Sway bars are only part of the setup, they are not necessary

How are stock brakes on this car? i see lot of them with brembo kits. Is it a must?
Stock brakes with good track pads are enough for mixed road and TrackDay use
Wow, super impressive. Very smooth with the wheel. I’m sure he could have shaved a few more seconds off without traffic. There was also a section around 4:39 where he stayed in 5th gear redlining the car for 14 seconds and topped out at 184 km/h (114 mph), when you’d think he could have shifted to 6th and increased top speed through that section. I saw him get up to 210 km/h twice (130 mph) in 6th gear.
my 6 gear is too long, if I use it in that area I lose speed.
@@RubenSaiz I did notice in the area that you used 6th, it was more of a downhill section, while the other section is flat with a slight incline.
I'm dying to go back and spend more time on the Ring. I had the chance very early on in my tracking experience. Got to rent the Toyota GT86, so I was comfortable in the car.

@@RubenSaiz ¡ Ni se te ocurra !. Puedes acortar el desarrollo de las marchas instalando un neumático con menos perfil ( pero, eso sí, recortarías el desarrollo de todas las marchas no sólo la de la sexta...).
@@mdev8846 si bajo el diámetro de la rueda tendría menos tracción y menos agarre general, ya lo probé en otro coche.
