- BB-03 Jojo Final Edition joins the Terminus series, and is the very last version of the gorilla mold. There have been countless repaints and reconfiguration of this highly popular Beastbox design, and this guy goes out in style with an awesome color scheme and graphic imprints. Thank You 88, Jojo! ✌️

Much appreciated - sounds like you have a lot of Jojo's? If you've got a Boxx Monkey, power to you - I think that one was an extremely limited production, and it looks awesome. I think a 52Toys podcast is a great idea! And I appreciate the suggestion, though I don't think I'd be able to commit time & resources to do it justice. ✌😎
@@XMattingly oh no worries it prob wont happen for the podcast. i went to botcon so i was able to get the whole set.
@@DeluxeBaldwin Awesome! About the Botcon set, not the no-Podcast. Only so many hours in a day, you know? 😐 If I could've gotten any of those without paying a premium, it definitely would've been either Boxx Monkey or Dark Klawde. ✊
I like Jojo - I have 3 of him at this point - and think he does a much better job conveying a gorilla than Delta and Momo do for a triceratops and elephant. While I get the appeal, I am glad they have moved beyond this design aesthetic.
I’ve got 3 as well; it’s a great mold. One thing I appreciate about Jojo is, it has a totally unique frame and transformation, as compared to pretty much every other Beastbox with 4 limbs. Just cool that a number of BB’s have highly caricatured animal designs. 😎
interesting! i didnt know that about the figure. very cool info! its something that you really knock out of the park. this one looks nice. i want the blue one but its waaaay to high a price or hard to find. take your pick. lol oooo but that transparent look is great.
Thanks! I'm not sure which blue one you're talking about (..?). Too many dang versions of this mold to keep track of, but on the plus side there's something for everyone. 😁
@@XMattingly so there was a batch that came out that was a limited run of all translucent blue. There is one on eBay for 78 right now and even that is still high for me with what I want. Abhhhhh it’s life lol
@@WarehouseWilgus Oohh, yeah - that series that sort of had "Tron" markings... don't know if they had an "official" name. I believe those came out _very_ early in the BB line and I doubt they ever had a US release, so yeah - no surprise they're hard to come by, now. 🙂

@@WarehouseWilgus I hear ya. I’d been eyeballing that Beludes tarantula for a while; I’ll live if I never get it, but at the same time who knows… they may just yet make that one a Terminus repaint. Never a bad time to treat yo’self, though. 😊
I would love to get one of each of these, but due to where I live (UK) and how hard they are to get here.... not likely gonna happen... But I have 3 so that's ok.
That is unfortunate. I would hope that Aliexpress, Amazon, among others would ship to UK, but I don’t know that situation. Hope you’re able to find some good ones, even if some are a little out of reach. 🙂
It's a nice mold, but I wonder what ape 52Toys would cook up now, seeing the difference between Delta and Sigma.
Yeah, you'd almost think they have to do a 2.0 version; a gorilla is too common to not have one available in an animal toy line.I think there are two schools of thought on the simpler earlier designs vs. the newer more detailed molds. They could definitely do something more sophisticated; my concern would be if they can make it a unique character... if nothing else, Jojo is definitely that.
@@XMattingly The fact that we're getting Sigma now that Delta's retired makes me think we'll be getting a new gorilla and elephant in 2023 and 2024. Should point out we do have the four combining monkeys as a possible gauge (though those are limited by the combining gimmick).
@@misterdarwin That seems like a good possibility. For a figure line that’s made of animals, if Jojo becomes completely unavailable, that’ll definitely leave a hole in the lineup.
