Hey mate, I’m in the middle of trying to flush my 92 street right now and it’s proving to be tricky. There’s instructions on the engine cover that want me to bleed a coolant supply or return hose just forward of the valve cover first. Did you see this on your van. Also should I be filling the reservoir and radiator?
hey! yes, there are some bleeders on the 2 pipes running just in front of the engine there. I could not access them easily so I just bleed the others and it worked out fine BUT if you are having issues. Bleed those first, then move your way backwards. also run the heater to keep the coolant moving through the heater core as well
@@OhKeiGarage when running the engine and filling coolant, when should I put the radiator cap on and should I see coolant in the radiator at all times?
Love the videos as always.
Where did you get the Honda lettering?
It was a Honda facility fire van, so it was on it already :)
Thanks for the quick reply.
Sambars #1 😂 acty 2nd 🥈 😅
How do you do a sambar coolant flush?
there's ad drain plug near the water pump on the sambar. drain it there and remove the thermostat to let coolant out of all the lines in front of it
what kind of highway speed do you get with the automatic? Terrible?
bout the same as the manual. it's geared pretty close on the top end. it just has longer shifts till it hits 3rd gear
