Jeff Lynne's Electric Light Orchestra from The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame site: "Picking up where the Beatles left off, ELO expanded the concept of great melodies, epic song structures and grand orchestrations. Here's a tune that Jeff Lynne said he rattled off in about 15 minutes b/c he needed another track for Face the Music. It went on to be a smash hit, and a signature ELO tune. This group should have been in the R'n'R HoF in 1998 which AFAIK would have have been their first year of eligibility.

Most of them are in heaven now and Richard Tandy was battling cancer, he was supposed to be there and also be on the keyboards.
July 18 2019 i will see Jeff Lynne's ELO for the 2nd year in a row at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto...Can't wait! Wembley or Bust is a must get on DVD-Blu-ray and CD...A real Masterpiece!

He will be 71 in 2018 and his voice is Gold. All his live concerts sound as good if not better than the original recordings...Not many bands and musicians can match that. Just have a listen from Jeff Lynne's ELO at Wembley Stadium June 24 2017. Jeff Lynne's ELO 2018 Tour is now in the UK for several fantastic Concerts...

And not only that, one of the songs is a cover....Yeah, I know it's their choice but c'mon!! Show us your greatness!! Play something epic like "Eldorado Overture", "Fire On High", "Tightrope", "Do Ya", "Steppin' Out", "I'm Alive", ESPECIALLY "Prologue + Twilight"

The male back-up singer, hits that dark plastic unit with a traditional drumstick and it instantly playbacks a digital "cowbell" sound. Now, it very well might trigger a instant sample/recording of a "real" traditional cowbell programmed into the system, but still...it be not a real, good ol' fashion "MORE COWBELL"!
