Honestly this why I loved kanji so much, he actually has the thought process to realize in order for things to calm down in people, they need to get out of control first. You can't just simply agree with the shadow, that would be no better than ignoring it. Sometimes people need to let out there feelings and as long as they can beat it the shadow is a really a good way of doing that.
Naota and Kanji are 2 very interesting characters that talked about an issue that still prevails today and that is being bound into the gender roles that society defines. Kanji acted like a punk and 'manly' to hide the fact that he likes feminine stuff which lead people ostracizing him and causing him confusing in himself n his sexuality, toxic masculinity at best. Naoto is very similar to Kanji but it focuses on herself on how she hated being a woman because of societys sexism towards woman and her dream of being a detective basically felt impossible because its 'mostly for men'. Making her sacrificing her social life to only focuses on solving cases to prove the point that woman can be detectives too. You dont see media potraying issues like this in a respectful way a lot and especially in Japanese media.
I don't think she puts in the effort she does to prove that women can be detectives, too-- I'm certain she hated being a woman (for the reasons you stated) so much that she masqueraded as a boy altogether.

Shadow Naoto is just like Dark Leia who became half man and a half machine and Secret Laboratory is a sci-fi theme as compare with Star War(Anna works in the same workplace in Star War before)
Eh i personally enjoy the anime Naoto VA, Anna I feel can't gruff her voice enough and makes it to easy to see Naoto is a girl in this game. I also dislike how from after this point they make her sound as feminine as possible.
My favorite moment of this Boss is when Shadow Naoto uses Element Zero in Phase 2. I always use Makarakarn, Magic Mirrors and Makaracorns at that point.

Why not wait for fire break effect to run out before using it again? Kinda seems like a waste to use it a turn too early. That turn could be used to land another agidyne.
Because in the middle of the rotation the MC may be charged in the same turn Shadow Naoto regains it's fire resistance, making a waste of SP (and for what I'm seeing now Shadow Naoto now burns SP (I never played the golden version... Until now (I'm in the middle of the optional boss #1)))
Dunno, maybe he decided use fire maybe for making the boss fight more difficult; Shadow Naoto has neutral damage for Ice and 1.25 or 1.50 (don't remember) for electric damage
Amirul Nizam its because he has black frost as his main damage dealer. Black frost has agidyne and fire amp, so with mind charge and tarukaja, which he didn’t use for some reason(teddie learns at by that point), are amazingly good. Yukiko also has really good damage too.
@@chelronin7843 I like the way you think about Black Frost, he is good. But there is a better persona for Shadow Naoto though. That's Lilith, who freely starts with Ziodyne and Makarakarn, plus has no weakness to 4 elements the boss uses. Mute Ray can be reflected by Makarakarn (the boss fucked itself over on many ocassions because of this), and the boss takes 1.25 increased Electric damage from Ziodyne. Not to mention you can give her Elec Boost/Amp skill card and just spam Ziodyne. Not to mention that I managed to give her Mind Charge. However, Lilith can do well even without it. You can also bring in Kanji, and then just use his Zionga/Ziodyne (depends if he has one of those) when his HP is too low to use Physical attacks.
He's probably following the All Social Links guide. If I recall correctly, I don't think you get to Rise and Kanji's second awakenings until very late in the game and you get their third awakenings very shortly after to give you an idea of how tight the social link scheduling is.
