It’s been 12 years and Persona 4 still remains my fav game in the series. For 20$ on steam, it’s a steal and I recommend it even if you have played Vanilla or Golden before. My take on the PC port. It’s an excellent port, no complaints about it, and definitely an upgrade from the Vita/PSTV. I encountered no issues and it runs perfectly fine on (FULL SCREEN). I did notice FPS drops while playing it in (Borderless/Window mode). You don’t have to do NG+ to unlock the Secret Boss or Difficulty (Custom) setting (Never liked the NG+ restrictions and the Secret Boss are always at the end of the game). I’ve seen a lot of people complain about cutscene stutters & lag but I guess it’s their specs. My specs are; i7-6700K 16 GB Ram AMD Radeon R9 390 Series Windows 10 Now release Persona 1, 2 & 3 (Ignore P5) with SMT games on the PC.
Persona 5 is my first and only persona game and i wich i ad discovered the franchise sooner what i dont like about persona is than they are never ported to other console! For exemple judging by the graphics i guess persona 4 was on PlayStation 2 well it was never ported to PlayStation 3 or PlayStation 4 like final fantasy for exemple

As for izanami I guess you could say they were deluded but again she was just the manifestation of the people's desires. Even then so long as the concept of izanami exists she literally can't die. Maybe this version will but sometime in the future another izanami can appear in a same or different form. Heck I think she could technically show up as a usable persona in a future game.
I will never forget how Teddie lay dead, after which I resurrected him and thought, "Now only a miracle will help..." And the miracle helped! Kamui's Miracle restored SP and HP to all party members

This symbolizes Izanami wanting to embrace blissful ignorance and protect Izanagi from her true form. Izanagi however, ignores her wishes and lights a torch to view her as a decaying corpse. This symbolizes how Izanagi wanted to know the truth about what she was hiding from him. Hence, the orb of sight

In that story, Orpheus was told by Hades that as he climbed out of the underworld, he must not look behind to see if his lover Eurydice was behind him. In Izanagi and Izanami's story, Izanagi was just told not to look at her while she tried to find a way to leave Yomi, but Izanagi lights a torch and sees her decaying form

And also, Izanagi Pulled a Dick move and ran away from Yomi while Izanami sent demons after him for doing what he was told. And once he was out, he moved the Rock of Senbiki (requires a 1000 Of men to move it) Cutting the Connection between Yomotsu Hirasaka and The Land of the Living. While Izanagi Was about to the Place the Boulder, Izanami Screamed, Saying "Curse You! Curse you Izanagi! For the Insult you brought upon me, Everyday I will take the lives of thousand of Mortals!" Izanagi Countered her by saying "If you take those Lives, I will make sure a thousand Five hundred are born that day!" "So it's Shall be" Hissed Izanami. Those Numbers and that Promise still Lives up Today, People.

After failing to get the golden ending and losing my save data, finally getting back to this point made it all worth it. Without a doubt the best RPG I have ever played.

Aww, that's a shame. I can understand Yosuke since his balance means he's mediocre in everything. Chie though? Her Dragon Hustle is amazing and she's definitely your go-to Phys attacker with both multi and single target phys moves with apt pupil and power charge (not to mention her follow-up attack is literally an insta-kill to any regular enemy)
Not using Chie is a sin in my eyes smh. Yosuke is actually pretty good since he's good for Early to Mid-game Grinding, but I get it that he could be bad.
Yosuke can keep up pretty well with Wind Boost + Amp tho, and he's pretty useful in combo with Teddie with Masukukaja/Youthful wind + Dekaja against bosses.

I just never got around to playing it or paying it no mind. eventually I played persona 5 first and it immediately became my favorite game of all time, I was blown completely away. I didn't think any other game could capture me as much as p5 did. But, recently I played p4 and I've been questioning which game I like better and now that persona 3 reload is coming out maybe I'll be conflicted again lol.

everyone struggled with this and Shadow Teddie, but weirdly enough I beat them both first try (normal difficulty), I wasn’t nearly as jacked as this guy but I still beat her easily, now Ameno-Sagiri is a different story tho…
Normal isn't bad at all as long as you know what you're doing. The problem with this fight on Very Hard is that you're always one crit or weakness hit away from getting combo'd to death by Kuro Ikazuchi/Fury of Yasogami, even at full boss debuff and party buffs. The fight shown here was relatively lucky.
My favorite part of this bossfight is the final attack from izanami where if you played the game right and built all your social links your friends will throw themselves in front of the attack sacrificing them selves 1 by 1 for the protagonist

Idk about Kanji, but Chie is the epitome of a late bloomer. I think her skills make her pretty godly later on, but she does underperform comparatively before then. (Still totally usable tho imo)
I was a little confused by this as well (unfortunately I never got to play this since I was a Xbox player growing up) but seeing this I thought this was a alternate timeline where adachi never discovered persona’s or the other god didn’t exist
7 month late. well izanami role is to check if you (the player) can reach out the truth. the game always check this the first time is by namatame scene, can you find the truth when your emotions is in the highest ? the second one is does you understand the murder mysteries ? can you guess the culprit ? the third one is when you feel satisfy because you can bring justice to the killer, but do you think you already solve the mysteries ? and then come izanami role is to answer some unanswered question like who and why midnight channel is created ? what purposed ? i feel like persona 4 game design is really great. the game design is really about can you reach out the truth ? they convey it by always question the player that third question. i dont understand why you think izanami comes out nowhere tho ? when midnight channel and where is namatame and adachi power come from is unaswered without izanami?

P3 FES & P4 should be on the PSN Store for 10$ each. Just that P3 Portable went on PSP and P4G on PSVita.
i have a very good laptop and the game is unplayable for me. I cant watch cutscenes, and the game drops frames and crashes constantly

I use Teddie, Naoto, Yukiko and main character all lvl 86 or 87 did hollow forest and did the final battle I played for 10hrs straight lmao!

My favorite part of this bossfight is the final attack from izanami where if you played the game right and built all your social links your friends will throw themselves in front of the attack sacrificing them selves 1 by 1 for the protagonist

Idk about Kanji, but Chie is the epitome of a late bloomer. I think her skills make her pretty godly later on, but she does underperform comparatively before then. (Still totally usable tho imo)

7 month late. well izanami role is to check if you (the player) can reach out the truth. the game always check this the first time is by namatame scene, can you find the truth when your emotions is in the highest ? the second one is does you understand the murder mysteries ? can you guess the culprit ? the third one is when you feel satisfy because you can bring justice to the killer, but do you think you already solve the mysteries ?
and then come izanami role is to answer some unanswered question like who and why midnight channel is created ? what purposed ?
i feel like persona 4 game design is really great. the game design is really about can you reach out the truth ? they convey it by always question the player that third question.

i always knew there wassomething with the guy at the gas station, i was always talking to him every rainy days. and i finished the game 3 days ago without beating it. i hate how there's no way to go to that day again except if i beat the game one more time... i'm really frustrated right now X)

Spam debuffs, particularly Tarunda/Debilitate. Use Yukiko mostly for heals, and buff with Teddie, and let Naoto and Yu do the attacking
