Some people probably noticed this already, but something interesting pops up in the dialogue. Shadow Mitsuo says “I am a shadow” but not the true self part
Judging by the plot the shadow probably knew it wasn’t gonna be accepted, so it just gave up

I thought that was just a P4G thing, so I went back and checked vanilla P4, and sure enough you're correct. In my several times of playing Persona 4 I've never noticed he left that part out.

I cannot believe how fast you pick your skills, I need at least half a second to make sure I'm picking the right thing.
Always remember to organize your skills!
Tip from a persona veteran, organize your skills, and get rid of any unnecessary personas
I am unbelievably slow when picking skills lol, I have a memory of a gold fish and constantly have to read descriptions to make sure it’s right, P5 definitely did things better with the weak symbol
Yeah I knew right away teddie and yukiko was meta at this point.
Yukikos healing potential made her the most valuable character in the team.
Then teddies damage potential along with his attack up ability for the whole party would ensure max damage output.
And between teddie and yukiko you can cure any status effect.
Finally you can go with yosuke or chie as your final pick.
Pick chie if you are using physical as your primary dps as she can increase your crit rate.
But if you are using magic go with yosuke because yosuke can also provide additional healing.
Kanji should stay out of this fight if you have not pursued his social link he doesn’t provide any healing or stat curing skills which this boss hits you with a lot.
Skill issue, you the type that points his finger under the words when ya read a text

Imagine if Mitsuo actually got a persona from this but he still never actually joined your party.
I see him as like a partner to the main villain not realizing that he would be betrayed later.

In the prequels, you can casually find an NPC that use his persona either for rumors, business and many other things.
I'd like to imagine it as some sort of mini martian inside a small UFO capsule, just to relate it to the sci-fi baby with symbols that is his shadow form.
Elements/Specialties: Can't think of any. Can't be Almighty and Light/Dark since Naoto has that and other elements are accounted for.
This guy shows up so early and is so creepy you think he’s going to be one of the main antagonists.
But he is just a red herring.
He commits one murder unrelated to the killer you’ve been chasing.

He's basically an Adachi Lite. He wanted attention while Adachi was just bored
I feel more pity toward him. He's a very troubled and desperate person.
Frankly he disgusts me. At least Adachi changed.

I think the reason as to why mitsuo's shadow disappeared was because when when mitsuo still kept saying that he was the killer even after you beaten the shadow he was still lying to himself therefore he still didnt accept his shadow after defeating so then the only option the shadow had was to disappear

Something I saw on the internet suggested that at the end of the fight, Mitsuo's ego was so twisted that there no longer was any difference between him and his shadow.
One of the only battles that have better representation in the anime than the game.

He didn‘t do all of it...
He became his shadow, in a sense. Basically, his ego became so corrupted that it was essentially indistinguishable from his Shadow. He embodies and actively embraces the darkness in his heart to the point where it becomes his entire personality, and as such essentially became his shadow.

That is true I find Mitso disturbingly relatable since I feel like I am similar to him in some ways at least such as wanting to be famous (though I would never commit any heinous crimes just to gain infamy) and the fact I feel like I have no real talent myself aside from video games and the internet as well. I take no real pride in saying this I just felt like sharing it. You can all hate me if you want but it’s how I feel I am afraid.

Man, this boss had a really interesting concept, but the whole character creation mechanic didn’t make the fight engaging, it only served to waste your time. Oh well, still a pretty fun boss.
I dunno if I’m under leveled but that’s the feeling I get from every boss, it’s too weak to kill you easily and you’re too weak to not take an hour fighting it, this boss just doubled that feeling

At the point in the game that Mitsuo first appears on the Midnight Channel and the team start discussing about him the day afterward, nobody from the IT thought that how would it be possible, that Mitsuo could have possibly pushed Kanji into the TV (speaking from the perspective when the IT don't know who is the real killer), who's 6 ft tall and beat up an entire biker gang all by himself.... Literally no one even thinks this
Pretty sure the killer just grabs the victim and chucks them in a bodybag, by what Naoto said. Namatame might be stronger than we think, but he doesn't seem like the type to take Kanji either
Naoto said she answered the door and lost consciousness before it’s possible namatame is using drugs to knock out his the people he throws in.
Naoto is a detective who knows self defense she normally wouldn’t be so easy to capture either.

Took me a couple party reordering to realize his gimmick was that he uses the element he shields himself with. Much more manageable and entertaining afterwards lmao.
The combo starting around 10:37 is the most tragic thing I've ever seen.
Like, how does Shadow Mitsuo get to go, Yosuke and Yukiko barely survive, then Shadow Mitsuo finishes Mitsuo the Hero, WHICH THEN ALLOWS HIM TO TAKE A MOVE THIS TURN ANYWAY, and then does a Gigadyne to kill them anyway?
That's the dirtiest thing I've ever seen this boss get, which is an accomplishment considering its Shadow Mitsuo.
In terms of having attention, I am polar opposite, meaning that I do not like getting attention, because I will be an easy target for killers.

This boss is such a ridiculous, unbalanced roadblock. Even on my first playthrough on Normal he got me yelling at the screen.
But now in NG+ on Very Hard, I'm just about to quit. 7 levels below him, getting my turns wasted by status ailments and then nuked by almighty damage (which you cannot even reflect somehow).

I could take dealing less damage and taking more damage.
But the xp gains and money gain nerfs are overkill
Something I've noticed about this port is that when Yosuke's pre-summon line is "here goes," the audio clip is delayed and gets cut off short by the next audio cue. I wonder why?

How did you get fire boost onto Black Frost? I am a bit stuck in the fusion stage and i want to maximize his damage.
My method was to fuse Hua Po after maxing the Magician S. Link to get Fire Boost quickly, then fuse her with Jack Frost and Pixie to create Pyro Jack and pass Fire Boost to him, then passed it onto Black Frost from there.
You can also get it by leveling Eligor (level 12 Chariot) to 15 or Gdon (level 31 Sun) to 35 without overleveling yourself.
If you're talking _Golden,_ you can also simply use a Fire Boost skill card after fusion.
Damn. I wanna know how to have 8M money only at level 40. NG+, I take it?

Golden hands are your best bet, been grinding a hour to kill them repeatedly to get my character from lvl 37 to lvl 50.
@@naufaladitya9453starting from Naoto’s dungeon… I begun to hate them more and more even though they’re the only way to properly grind a whole lotta EXP. Why I hate them? They’re a-holes. For me, they tend to escape frequently out of the blue. At the very least, I got Naoto who can by default use a skill for almighty damage, which makes grinding easier.

I do. I won't be making any excuses to his actions at all but I still feel sorry for him. I kinda see myself in him, he's just a lonely kid with probably no friends at all. I want to help him, but it seems like he's so deep in shit that he doesn't want to be helped, maybe he thinks nothing *can* actually help him. That's really sad.
