I love how there was an alternative ending to this game

The final fight scene between Anakin and obi wan showed a much different side of obi wan. He actually tried to bring Anakin back and showed a bit more mercy

By the Council she meant the leader of the Council. In other words, Master Yoda at that point.
Demowan actually Mace Windu was the leader of the council. Yoda was the Grandmaster of the order.

My favorite Star Wars game of all time. Playing this, battlefront 2 along with revenge of the Sith releasing in theaters shortly after was prime time peak Star Wars. Loved it
The alternate ending is legendary. But I find the cutscenes to be hilarious half the time, lmao. Great childhood game.
That is true. It could be a good ground for an alternate take on terms, where Anakin is Emperor Vader and Luke has to join the rebels in stopping his father's reign of terror (even though he would train by Akosha Tano and the reveal would still be in Empire Strikes Back).
I have the strangest relationship with this game, back in the mid 2000s I was spending a couple of weeks at some kind of hospital/institution place while the doctors were trying to find the right medication for my mental illness or something along those lines (I don't quite remember the exact reason, my childhood was a bit weird), and I distinctly remember that they had a ps2 with a copy of this game, and I wasn't allowed to play it (I was like 7 or 8) because the game was rated 12+ or something like that, and it was extremely frustrating because it looked fun to me, and the funny thing about it is that now 10+ years later I still haven't properly played it because my ps2's controller is busted and every time I try to play it on an emulator it's either a bad iso, or it ends up running like complete trash, and seeing these cheesy as hell cutscene's makes me feel like I missed out on growing up with another cheesy ps2 game.
This game meant a lot to me as a kid it was amazing and i still have it for PS2 and Xbox.

I was in a mental institution too, i have asperger and psycosis, i have a normal life until the year 2015 my psycosis starting to increasing, i have the wish to go to my institute and shot them all and killed everyone in my path, i wasn't never very sociable to any persone, i was an anti social and almost murder, i have the wishes to kill childrens and shoot them cause a masacre in schools. Thanks god i was treated, it took me 5 years to be treated but know, but know i feel good and i also fond my happines and i want to share this love and happiness to everyone.
Maybe its just the difficulty I chose but it was pretty frustrating from what I remember but still the lightsaber combat still has not been replicated since.

This game is pretty good, has solid lightsaber dueling mechanics, and a unique story. The actor for Anakin in this is pretty average but when it comes to his aggressive dialogue he is pretty amazing.
I wish more Star Wars games were like this, Fallen order seems to be a step in the right direction.

Asides from how weak they made them look with the force, it isn’t. I remember playing this, it was a fun game during my childhood.
I played this game so many freaking times when i was a lil kiddie.
Couldn't understand anything they said but i somehow managed and i loved every bit of it.
just like with songs for me. i could talk, but i couldnt understand words well, so i just mumbled sounds similar to the words.

I wanted to buy this game back in the day but I didn't have a system that would play it. Good voice impressionist for Hayden Christensen, he sounds much more like the Anakin of the films than the Clone Wars voice.

The graphics are a lot better than I remember, particularly the expressiveness of the faces.
What's crazy is that they mo-capped Hayden and Ewan for Anakin and Obi-Wan for this game's animations.

I love that you figure out more about all different types of soldiers in games that’s why I love Star Wars games always something new that makes me say wow thats not a lightsaber or a Mandalorian and am impressed

Dooku being stabbed is strangely more poignant than him being beheaded. I also like how the Jedi and Nute Gunray's little banking clan tried to put up more of a fight against Skywalker, I mean when you compare it with the movie; it felt like they went easy on him.
And I like how with the Grievous fight you actually see some fighting skills, in the movie it was more of a chase, and it was entertaining enough but it didn't show his skills like this game does, I mean he even busts out that whole upper body spinning trick from the 2003 clone wars.
Yep. Grievous also has pretty much the exact same animations from the 2003 show where he grabs them with his foot and tosses them away

Clearly this game was developed before the final edit of the film, because the cutscene where they cut through the floor was a deleted scene in the film. Rick McCallum basically said it was cut for time, as the opening was over an hour in the first edit and they wanted to get it down to under 30 minutes.

Can you point out which ones exactly? I'm doing a fan edit of Episode III and I was figuring out if I should put some of these scenes in the edit. I may or might not include them, depending on how it works with the fluidity of the scene.

Especially the fight scenes between Grievous and Obi Wann and the fight between Anakin and Mace would have made the movie even better.
The dialogue between obi-Wan and Anakin is a lot better and further expanded upon in their fight as well

My ps2 controller doesn't work anymore, so this is why I want backwards compatibility in ps5, for ps2 at least.

@@worldofazeroth well obviously the last arc, the seige of mandalore is so good. Easily top 3 best arcs and the other 2 are kinda disappointing like the bad batch are cool but the arc is very mediocre, I think they should've replaced this arc with the Utapu arc with Anakin and Obi Wan. The martez sister arc is really bad but the sad thing is that we need it to show how ahsoka got with the mandolorians but I think they should've shorten it into 2-3 episodes. The last season is a little disappointing mostly because 66% of it is not that good but the other 33% is some of the best star wars stuff we ever had.
So they could make Grievous have Green Lightsabers in cutscenes but not in the actual game?☠️
