the funny part about the cutscenes is that how unusual or weird their actions were like....jazz not giving a freak even he's on his robot form just walking around the streets like nothing bad is happening, bumblebee staying in its vehicle form while still crashed in a wall building, etc.
This game's cutscenes are so silly but i genuinely believe they're closer to the original Transformers than the actual movies with how campy they can be at times
When I was a kid playing this game I remember thinking it was weird that you never actually killed Ratchet during the Decepticon missions. So I guess he survived?
12:51 Starscream: you won't get away this time there's nowhere for you to run Jazz: run from you now this fight to the end Starscream: that will be sooner than you think
One thing I wished this game did was mix the campaigns because some of the Decepticon missions would've made sense during the Autobot story and it could've made you switch in between faction during the main story. Kinda like WFC where you played as the cons first and ended it with the Prime and the others.
For me, it's Blackout, he has the strongest melee attack and most powerful weapons in the game. It's satisfying to destroy 3 autobot drones with Blackout's rotors
Wasn't Optimus hiding from Megatron and sent all of his Autobot forces to try to stop him ? Even in The Day Of The Machines level, Optimus was not alone, he had ELEVEN Autobots with him, the fact that he still lost shows how Powerful and Strong Megatron actually is.
In Decepticon gameplay, Megatron was revived by Starscream and Devastator... Barricade informed Megatron that a human named Sam Witwicky has fled the city.. Megatron,Devastator, Barricade,Starscream find Sam Witwicky to obtained the Allspark from him and then Sam Witwicky would become Megatron's pet
Haha I believe most of the pirate users at that time can't be able to see those cutscenes. Pirate version of the game I dont know SKIDROW or REPACK version maybe cut out the cutscenes to save more space. I was a big fan of the game and it's cutscenes back then. Especially the intro and endings and If I'm not wrong they were done by the Blur Studios which is an amazing studio currently have signature under a lot of trailers like ESO's cinematic trailers, LoL etc. 2 or 3 years ago I found a youtuber which uploaded these and with that I can be able to play the game with them for the first time. :D

In Transformers: The Game, cutscenes play a crucial role in showcasing the storyline and the decisions made by both Autobots and Decepticons. These cutscenes help players understand the context and motivations behind each character's actions. Here's a brief overview of some stages where the Autobots and Decepticons face problems and make decisions: 1. Autobot/Decepticon Decision: In one of the early stages, players might encounter a situation where they have to choose between helping a human city or pursuing an enemy convoy. This decision will have consequences on the relationship between Autobots and Decepticons with the humans and could potentially affect the overall story progression. 2. Rescuing Captured Allies: During the game, it's common for both Autobots and Decepticons to capture each other's allies. In these cutscenes, players will have the opportunity to decide whether to negotiate for the release of their captured comrades or engage in a battle to rescue them. These decisions can impact the loyalty of the characters involved and the overall story arc. 3. Battling Over Resources: As the game progresses, both factions might face situations where they need to fight over valuable resources, such as Energon or advanced technology. These cutscenes will showcase the strategic thinking of each faction's leader and the consequences of their choices on the war effort. 4. Moral Dilemmas: Throughout the game, players might encounter cutscenes where they have to make difficult moral decisions. For example, they could be faced with the choice of saving innocent lives at the expense of weakening their own forces or prioritizing the well-being of their fellow Autobots/Decepticons. These decisions will shape the character development and the players' perception of the factions. 5. Final Showdown: In the climax of the game, both Autobots and Decepticons will face off in a decisive battle. The outcome of this battle will be determined by the choices made throughout the game, including the cutscenes where players have influenced the storyline. The final cutscene will showcase the consequences of these choices and provide a satisfying conclusion to the players' experience. In summary, Transformers: The Game's cutscenes play a vital role in shaping the story and allowing players to experience the complex dynamics between Autobots and Decepticons. These stages present various problems for the factions to solve, and the decisions made during these cutscenes will have lasting effects on the game's narrative and characters.
Now with how old this game is, I feel gesture in cutscenes was perfect for comedic timing They did a lot for tie in with low budget if you think about it. And maybe graphics got old, but in some way its good, it looks like sfm animations. Animations that were entertaining to watch.
They need to remaster this with a movie maker mode it’s way too much nostalgia here and way too much effort to just be a past glory game from the 2000s

This game did an great job of making them feel like giant weapons of destruction. I feel like that gets overlooked sometimes.
You know what, looking back on the game now, they really did, didn’t they.
Felt like it when destroying the city, didn't feel like it when my guns wouldn't do anything to enemies but throwing an object at them would
That’s not really overlooked
game is great but only problem is the combat system which was fixed on rotf game.
Nah they looked like whacky ass memes with those slapstick animations. Good fun though.
The ending for the Decepticons predicted what was going to happen in TF3.
Yes, but better
It’s also a reference to an episode of the G1 cartoon.
It's a reference to the episode 'Atlantis Arise' and Dark of the Moon did it afterwards.

When you pick Decepticons, you see that Jazz is being serious when Bumblebee is gone.
For an early 2000s game the cutscenes are so great!
Ehhh not really since these are lre rendered. Same games at the time had way better CGI and even in engine cutscenes
This was 2007, not the early 2000s
