I’m new to the golf cart scene. I want to install the signal switch with the horn and was wondering if I needed the deluxe harness or will the stock one work? Thanks
You would need a deluxe / plug and play harness. This would give you the plug for the turn signal and horn. You will also want to make sure your lights have at least three wires (power, ground and marker light functions) so they are capable of receiving turn signal functions.
Good video - everything is great, but... the steering column sleeve rotates around the steering column when I attempt to operate the turn signal lever. How do you anchor the steering column sleeve?
I apologize, I just saw this response. Your dealer will help you either find a kit or help select a 12V outlet separately. Our current kits have 12V USB outlets but we still sell the original style too.
Has there ever been a thing like this for installing a collum shifer on a golf cart? Has it ever been done? Like the ones on the steering wheel you pull down (such as in a 2004 Dodge Grand Caravan Steering Wheel For and Example)

I always found that putting a car in drive with a collum shifter on the steering wheel is cool. I was wondering if there is something like that for a golf cart where you put a shifter on the steering wheel to put it into drive, insted of under the seat.
RHOX Garage Yeah, I don’t think it is on the market either. I’ve never seen a gear shifter on a golf cart like that. It would be cool though. At least I like the turn signal concept.
@@42luke93 It would be tough on some models because the F/R switch is a mechanical one using cables. Others are electronic but when you get to the steering column, it's solid so the wiring would have to be run down the side of the column. That's why the horns on steering wheels are just decorative and turn signal wiring is on the side - because the wiring can't be run through the column.
My directional and hazard lights stopped lighting up. Horn and everything else works and the control clicks as if the signals were working. . What would I need to do to get my lights back working?
Are you installing the kit to a RHOX light kit and harness? If not, we can provide a wiring diagram for our turn signal to assist you. You will also have to make sure the taillights have three wires.

When we run into that, we will just wrap some electrical tape around the column before installing the cover. This will keep it in place.
I know this is an old video but if you see this, I'm trying to fix the hazard pull switch because it's coming loose and doesn't stay pulled out.
Where would we get the full kit for the club car ds? The ones I’ve seen do not come with the 12V outlet.

I believe this is the only style. We have other turn signal options but they all mount to the column and not the steering wheel.

I see you have the exact problem I have with my golf cart right now. No power at turn signal. Head lights work turn signal lights don’t. Any ideas?

Try replacing the 'turn signal relay' (2:20 in the video). That was my problem.
i have a 2006 club car..i installed the kit my front turn signals blink
but my rear lights do not blink....?

@@scottdavis4411 It plugs in to RHOX plug and play wiring harnesses. Most others will have to be hardwired.
