@@missyschluetet2378 it is adorable, Robin was so upset it had the red lines as she loves the kit but doesn't want the hassle of trying to fix DACs mistake
Since I realize it is rounds the lines show on I am destashing it. I hope they release all the ones with red lines. It is an adorable image. Thank you for watching.
It's the square kits that don't seem to have an issue. The rounds are the kits that show the red lines more. I received 2 kits with the lines. One was rounds & I returned it. I kept the square kit but I'm thinking you may still see it under white or lighter colors. I really think they should put a disclaimer on the site for the kits that had this happen to or take them off the market completely. Destashers should also put a disclaimer when re-selling them.
@Naener1977 yeah we said it backwards in the video so we added it to the description (hoping people would see it). We also agree there should be something on Diamond Art Clubs listings that note the line issue no matter the drill type. The sneak peeks help but most of them aren't posted until after the release lately
I agree. I continue to receive kits with the red lines even though they have said they fixed the problem. I plan on contacting them and returning them.
Cute a cute canvas.Such a shame to see how many kits were affected by this mistake. I’m really hoping DAC will bring this one back as a stand alone release from the mystery box and give everyone who had the pink lines in it a chance to repurchase
I was so excited to see about the painting. I am thinking I may destash it if anyone does not have a good fix. I would do so with the disclaimer about the red lines though. I am unboxing another one and there are no red lines!
I have that same kid and also the same problems. It's the round drill kits that are going to show the red lines. The square drill kits should cover the red lines I think DAC should definitely put in each paintings description as to whether or not the red lines are on the canvas. I also think those canvases should be heavily discounted. This way as a consumer we have the option to buy a defective product or not. We shouldn't have to wait until we get the kit and then have to send it back I understand that they are trying to recoup their money from this mistake. But it is their mistake they should have to eat that cost and not sell a product that is not up to par if you're going to sell that product you should let the customer know and also give a discount
@tinageyer this is the best comment yet!! All of your suggestions are 100% correct, I doubt they do that and we just have to keep guessing or just not buy any round kits at all. I haven't seen a square one done that had it but would like to just to confirm you can't see it before buying more, especially with black Friday coming up
@@SparklingDiamonds2024 they are not talking because of the fear of repercussions from the company. IMO all those canvases should have never left the factory or at least recalled as soon as there was a know issue. The bad part of this canvas is most of the red is on the 5200 background. You might can try mica powder to keep the red from showing. I’ve never had that problem so I really don’t know. I wish I could help more.
I would be curious to see a photo if you have one!! Also, did you use just one color mica powder or several? Robin is trying to decide if she is going to keep it or destash it
I love this kit it is soooooo cute. It’s not a very big canvas which is nice. I hope they re release this one.

I will send any canvases back that have that error but that’s just me ❤
@@estoutish I think that's what we are probably going to do, this one unfortunately can't be as it was purchased through a destash
Be on the lookout for unboxings, and if they do have red marks, I will return them,
Rounds you will have more issues... squares they say it's covered by the diamond...I have heard that mica powder helps over...tfs

I could not agree more! I have decided to return all of mine with the lines. This one I am de-stashing. It makes me sad because I loved it.
That’s a beautiful canvas, it’s a shame about the red.
@diamondnana1026 it really is, and there are so many rounds with it but no one is really talking about it
I felt you could "hear" my disappointment. Mistakes happen and I understand that but it is a bummer.
@@robin-x8j yes ma’am I could. My heart hurts for you 😪😪

I have never used mica powder. I would love to see the photo and know more about how you fixed it.
