Welcome to a sneak peek unboxing of a new diamond painting release from Diamond Art Club! This is "First Snow" by Rita Kónya (aka Aria Illustration) and is a larger kit with some really beautiful special drills, including a royal blue Electro (metallic finish) that looks like it's going to be breathtaking! I'm so ready for cooler weather and winter vibes.
This week's releases will go live on Saturday, October 12th at 9am Pacific Time/12pm Eastern Time for Diamond and Ruby level members, and at 9:30am Pacific Time/12:30pm Eastern Time for the general release. Set those alarms!

I live in Connecticut and it’s getting pretty chilly here, especially in the mornings. My husband and I play this stupid game where we wait and see who breaks down first and turns on the heat.

I’m in California soooooo tomorrow morning at 9 (I’m Diamond level since I already have Diamond Art addiction 🤦🏻♀️) I’d 9 9 in CA or not yet…..I’m in Pacific Standard Time so idk!! I have the winter blues in the best way possible right now.
Confetti is a very good way for the detail, however, I’m not near as fast. I do love the details and the colors are just very relaxing.

Fun fact! Paintings/documents positioned with the short-sides at the top and bottom are 'Portrait', and positioned short-sides left and right (like this painting) are Landscape 🤓
Portrait also means a depiction (painting, drawing, photo) of a person, typically from the shoulders up. So, it can still be a portrait whether the orientation is a portrait or landscape! And funnily enough, a landscape (pictures of land) can also be in portrait mode😅
I love the color pallet and special drills in this, I’m just not sure about the size. I’m trying so hard to not get any super big canvases. But I’m tempted.
I'll just enjoy watching other people complete her 😅 both Rita Konya kits are gorgeous but there's too much of the same color for my taste. Plus, I just recently finished a kit that had a bunch of ABs clustered together and it was such a headache to do those sections 😣 as soon as you pointed out where all those ABs were, I was like "Nope" 😂
Here in Bakersfield we are having August weather in October we are still having 100 degree days
So many blues. Definately one for me.
But I just want to say something, Katie. On every channel I look at a preview from DAC, everybody says that the 6000+ colors are colors DAC made themselves. I think it's not true. A few years ago DMC brought out a new range of colors, numbered from 001 to 035. I took time to compare the 6000+ diamonds in the kits and the 001 to 035 colors from DMC. They always match with one another. So I think DAC uses those colors too. No problem of course. Although they still don't have 35 colors in the 6000. I can be wrong, but you can easily check this yourself. I just wanted to say this, because I think there are few people who know this. And I hope I do not offend anyone by saying this.

Hi Hedi! Thanks for your input! It's probably just a coincidence, but we can confirm that we created those colors ourselves, modeled after Pantone colors. Maybe DMC did the same thing :D
@@diamondartclubI believe you, that can certainly be the case. As I said: "I think"! But as I am a cross stitcher too, I recognized the colors and I wanted to speak my mind (= peacefull mind😉). It doesn't bother me at all, because I like the colors, in diamonds and in threads. Thank you for the information. I love too many of your canvasses. 😍Kind regards.

I like this one but all I can I see is that the tree branches have eyelashes so I think that’s going to hold me back from buying it and maybe wishlist it instead.
Pretty colors but witches are not for me.
