This!!! That is what I said. Why should go find a box., put it up, put tape on it so it does not come open, go to USPS at the busiest time of year and mail it, and then email them that ikt was shipped which is required! Thanks for being a part of our UA-cam family. It means a lot.

@@robin-x8j If you really love it, try the mica powder on the pink. I don't think it takes that long from the videos that I have watched. I have one right now and am going to dig out my mica powder.
Purchased this kit from someone destashing right after a lot of people received their box and before anyone knew there was problem this kit. I paid A LOT for it and you can imagine how disappointed I was when opened and discovered ALL the problems with it. The seller did reach out to DAC FOR ME. 😢
@chastity.penzel I can only imagine the number of people in the exact same boat as you who paid a lot for it from a destash before anyone talked about the issues.
That was a great seller. I would do the same and feel guilty if I sold a kit with this many mistakes. As you could see even Brittany was confused about what was right and what was not after looking at the legend and sticker sheet. I am so happy you got the kit and the fix. I purchased The Silver Husky Dog on a restock in June. Several things indicated it was old stock- that was fine until I got to the drills. Then the customer service let me down saying in one email they’d replace drills. Then, it was a different story when I sent the list … I’m using my money to support companies like Bella Art De Nicole who care about the customers and artists!
@marladillard8721 yesss! Support all the small shops! I highly recommend Art and Soul if you havent tried it! I have tons of videos (and tons coming) showing completions, unboxings, etc.!
I am so sorry this happened. to you. Support all small shops as they need our business and really listen to feedback. If you have not checked out Art & Soul do I would highly recommend them. Brittany and I are doing a compairion of DAC and A&S Groovy Girl by Hannah Lynn and the quality has been the same. If I showed them on camera without the names you would not be able to tell which company it is. A&S owners, Melissa & Scott are a small business but growing every day and they do listen to feedback and help anyway they can. Thanks so much for being a part of our UA-cam family.
@ I will. I have found the small shops more pleasant, price competitive and as you said product equally as premium, plus the benefit of supporting a local company. These small businesses would never think of dropping products on the market as defective as DAC has done. It hurts the artists as much as the customers.
Hi ladies! I’m seeing issues lately as well. I am waiting till after New year to make any more purchases ( hopefully). I want to DAC a chance to straighten things out. Check your drills and compare with the canvas. You shouldn’t have to do all this extra work for the price of it.
@PamperedWithDiamonds you are 100% right! No one should have to do anything extra to enjoy a canvas they like. I want to see what they have for Black Friday but I'm not sure I'll buy anything - especially no rounds!
@PamperedWithDiamonds I don't mind square vs rounds, I usually just pick based on the image. But with the red line issues, I'm very wary to purchase any. I don't know at what point it will be fixed and not happen anymore

This is a beautiful diamond painting. It’s a shame. I have already returned one because it was round and it had the red lines. I was so disappointed. I could not trust that I would do a good job fixing it. 😂. Sorry that you guys are dealing with this additional problem.

I don’t know what’s going on with DAC their quality control is bad. The last 3 paintings I got all had red lines. I pay too much to have to fix their issues.
@Jonna-s3d agreed, we shouldn't have to buy extra stuff (mica powder or paint pen) to fix their mistakes. The money they refund on the canvas if you keep it doesn’t seem worth it. It's also hard when you really like the image

@veronicabacklund3931 it should be a full return of what you paid after discounts. In this case, they would only give $45 as it was part of the mystery box and 1/4 of the price. Keep in mind they also remove any points earned from that purchase
Those red lines on the canvas are annoying. I have "Jack and Sally" that has them, right on Jack's white face. I'm hopeful mica powder will do the trick. I think the problem with the sticker sheet is worse, though. I guess that is another thing to always check. I got the Halloween mystery box and one of them was Sea Witch and it doesn't seem as dark as the picture, just like you noticed with this canvas, so I agree it's good to look at the canvas. I always open mine to check the canvas, etc., are correct. I've only gotten two mystery boxes (Halloween this year and the one released right around Christmas last year) and was happy enough with them, but I also purchased one of the Halloween ones that I didn't get, so now I think maybe it's better to just wait and see what is put out and try to find the ones I really like.
@stacyharty3578 the lines are such a let down especially when it's a kit you like. I got Blue Girl as a restock and it's round with the lines. I am going to bling it up and try mica powder. I saw someone did it with a paint pen and you couldn't tell so also a good option too! I wish I could find that post again

I traded my Christmas witch for the angel. This was before we knew anything was wrong. I just don't think it's a big deal. i will use mica powder on it, which everyone is saying is working well, and the legend just isn't a big deal for me. If you have done Diamond Dotz, they don't even come with a legend, and you have to make your own stickers. That is what I will do. I can't return it, and it's such a beautiful painting. As far as the pink lines, they have corrected that in future paintings. Even if I was the original owner, I would keep it. I just love it. I will be doing it sooner than I had planned so that I can get past the problems, and see how it goes.

Such a shame with a beautiful image where the rest is so messed up!! I did not get the mystery box but I did receive the Margaret Morales Mystery Painting and it had the dashes transferred on to the canvas. The only saving grace was that it is a square drill painting and I have been told that the dashes will not show through. What a disaster with your painting but one bright side is that if it had been sold individually, the retail price would have been quite a bit more 🤷♀️
It's such a shame to pay so much money for anything and it to be so messed up. This issue with the red lines is happening so much more, makes me afraid for Black Friday kits😔

Dac needs to slow their role and focus on quality. I would much rather see less images per wk to know I’m going to get quality. As bad as I want a couple images I have not purchased from them since early this year and will not in 2025. I hate to bash cause I love how they are always putting out updated stuff but when Michael’s/ hobby lobby puts out cheap kits with better glue canvases that’s a problem .
@jleelee71 I wish they did more of a order on demand like other companies do so you wouldn't have to worry about an image selling out and then being archived. They just announced 100 kits for Black Friday and I worry how many are going to have the red line issues
Has anyone actually DONE one of these kits that have the red lines on the canvas? I can't imagine it actually showing after you've placed drills down because they sit so close to each other - especially on square drill paintings (I realize this is a round one in this video). Diamond paintings aren't meant to be viewed right next to your face... they are meant to hang on a wall and be viewed from a distance. I seriously doubt the red lines will even show after drills are placed. Yes, this should NOT happen, especially on NEW releases when they've known about this issue for months. Not to mention DAC is pretty ridiculously expensive.
@amydavis4945 I actually haven't seen a square done with it yet, although I wouldn't think it shows. As far as rounds go, I've seen one complete where you can still see the red/pink lines and then I saw one person fixing theirs with a paint pen and what they had done so far looked great. But who wants to have to fix something we pay so much money for?
They do show up on the round kits. Watched a video earlier today where it showed, but she used mica powder, which helped but did not get rid of it totally. Square kits should cover it up.

I also watched the acrylic marker one and it may work better but with that the colors need to match pretty good. I think I have one canvas that has this on it. Not sure which method I am going to do.
