Another year, another DragCon! Every year, the queens from RuPaul's Drag Race come together to celebrate drag, queer art, and fandom, and they ALWAYS do it looking stunning. We're going through as many DragCon looks as I could find today figuring out who looked the best and who looked the worst at LA DragCon 2024! From the new Global All Stars and Canada vs the World Casts, to the All Stars 9 cast and beyond!
What was your favorite and least favorite look of DragCon?
Keta's look was ART! I need the producers to put her in a season without eliminations so that she can serves us every single week.

Don't know if anyone else has said this, but, Megami's look that you love so much is a yassified cosplay of Arsene, the protagonist's persona in Persona 5. And it is a DAMN good one, as someone who has played Persona 5 for like 500 hours lol. Thanks for this amazing ranking video!!! It was so nice to see so many amazing looks from Drag Con. And your opinion is correct, like, 97% of the time, so. Keep slaying. ❤
So I’m obsessed w/ persona 5 (my phone background has been Akechi for like 5 years) and my boyfriend told me I would be in love w/ Megami’s look but wouldn’t tell me what it was

24:35 - Adriana, Kiara, and Lady Boom Boom all semi-regularly perform together at Cabaret Mado in Montreal. I would guess that they decided to go in together on a booth to optimize costs and make it worthwhile.

Pitita’s look was a reference to a famous Spanish actress who went to a red carpet she wasn’t invited to and dressed up in the Spanish flag. The original was so tacky but Pitita’s version was actually cute and the reference of wearing that to the Pink carpet her first time in LA was genius! In Spain we loved it!
I love that everyone’s seeing what an amazing mind Lina Galore is, her season wasn’t my favourite but she and Melissa have some of the best drag I’ve ever seen
Pitita's look refers to a look that a famous Spanish celebrity from the gossip press wore to the Oscars gala. The look was made with a tail of the Spanish flag and for this reason they kicked her out of the gala, then she went live crying about it and it became a meme

Is the entire "You're a Winner Baby" all skinny queens? Because there are a lot of "is it fashion, or is she just skinny" looks there. I feel like, if Plastique had worn Pomara Fifth's outfit - it would be in the highest tier.

41:41 Shannel decided last minute to attend Drag Con (for the 1st time) and just grabbed something from her closet she’s had at least for 10 years; she felt the colours were in line with her booth.
So result kind of makes sense. She didn’t go all the way out to pick a look. I’m glad to see the shoes though in this pic as I’ve seen videos and she was barefoot.

First of all, I absolutely LOVE the fact that you’re a huge Megami stan!
I honestly cannot even imagine the amount emotional rollercoaster y’all went through while watching her on Season 16!
(Assuming, of course, that you were already a Megami stan _going into_ the season. Even if _you_ in particular weren’t, this comment still stands for anyone who _was,_ of course.)
For real - for real, it must’ve been a wild fucking ride to see her perfectly serviceable but nothing really spectacular (Aside from a very strong performance during the girl groups challenge/episode, of course!) showing/EDIT throughout the competition up until her elimination. That is, of course, until she came back for the Lip Sync LaLaPaRuza and absolutely slaughtered all of the other queens in all of her lip syncs until her final one against the simply incredible, Morphine. (Which is most certainly no easy feat!)
Anyway… sorry that this comment really has nothing to do with the video - but, hey, a comment is a comment, and I know that they’re good for the algorithm! It’s just that when you noted that you’ve been a Megami stan through and through it was the first time I ever thought about how crazy the entire season must’ve felt for the OG Megami supporters. (But, boy, what an absolutely FABULOUS way for her arc to end! … For _now,_ of course!!)
