Yes I love watching swimming, I’m terrible at it myself but watching people swim 100 metres in just seconds is amazing! Cate Campbell is probably my favourite. Go Aussies! 🇦🇺💛💚💛💚💛💚💛💚
@@garrylarry890 Emma and Cate did fantastic leading Australia in 1st place.Though i believe it's high time Cate focused more on the individual events. She has the full potential to be the best.
To see the Aussie girls won again in Tokyo for this same category and the fact that by the time Cate did her final lap everyone else was so far behind her, that was just so inspiring! It makes me proud being an Aussie 🇦🇺
yes - i missed that but went back and saw it. Very genuine. There was a second USA girl who came over to the Aussies as well. Great moment of sportsmanship.
I hope nobody forgets how kromowidjojo had the best split of all with a 51.93 which is a full 0.7 faster than the second fastest split by schlanger (52.65)
Congrats to the Aussies but gosh those Dutch girls did a phenomenal job coming back from 5th spot to snatch silver. If that pool was a few metres longer I think they would have won gold.
As you see all of those records and they all have tracked all times with what a differences.... All about the records... And what have you get from here?
My great aunt was in the hospital when, late at night while she was sleeping, dreamt that she was in Australia because she heard one of the nurses talking with the accent
The problem with the USA team is that they always include a swimmer in the wrong position or a swimmer who doesn't deserve a place in the relay. Here the mistake was to include Missy Franklin, a backstroker swimmer in a sprint relay? That's wrong. In the men's 4x100 freestyle the mistake was incluiding Lochte in the anchor leg, he should have gone first or second, but not in anchor. And in Rio 2016, the mistake was to include Ledecky in the 4x100 freestyle relay. In the trials in Omaha she failed to qualify for the single event, event for the relay, she ended in 8th position, and they included in the final relay. That's very stupid
Sounds like an appetite for including the star of the meet at all costs. In the 4×200 m freestyle relay they did the right thing by choosing DiRado over Franklin, though.
Horst Borscht but that was a good choise, Franklin had a terrible games, and Maya compete in 200im and 200 back, 200m races, so that was 'normal' for her
Daniel Cavalier at Rio Olympics: SILVER: UNITED STATES - 3:31.89 Simone Manuel - 53.36 Abbey Weitzeil - 52.56 Dana Vollmer - 53.18 Katie Ledecky - 52.79
their punishment was basically a lot of hate and controversy from the press, plus I think they may have been banned from competitions for 5 months or something like that. Their punishment was more based on their behaviour though because they misused it and went round knocking on peoples doors and making prank calls.
It was revealed that the 4x100 relay men's team (Sullivan, Magnussen, Taggart ect) had some weird bonding sessions which involved taking sleeping pills. Bizarre to say the least.
And now Aussies have won gold in Tokyo for the same event! What a feat! Proud of you girls!

This has always been my favorite Olympic race to watch. By far the most competitive one out there.
Nope it's the the 1976 women's 4x100m freestyle relay at Montreal. USA vs. The East Germans. (The Dopers)
I meant the sport.
To see the Aussie girls won again in Tokyo for this same category and the fact that by the time Cate did her final lap everyone else was so far behind her, that was just so inspiring! It makes me proud being an Aussie 🇦🇺
Much love from an American to the Australian team!
Australian Schlanger for the last 25m or more holds her breath and just power strokes home, wow
That Jojo girl was not swimming. She was FLYING!
You mean Ranomi Kromowidjojo? If so, yea!
@@alarnabruinsma7050
I simply went with the last 4 letters of her last name.
That was a crazy split
I heard that! 😗
These women are a muse. They inspire me everyday to improve my swimming and I someday hope to be as good as them.

But not on the flag. Most countries wear their flag colors.
If Missy Franklin anchored U.S.A. could have won!
keep dreaming.
