It goes without question that Scaring the Hoes will most likely be the favorite album of many music nerds for the rest of 2023. JPEGMAFIA and Danny Brown collaborating is enough to make a stereotypical Rate Your Music user cream their jeans repeatedly. However, the overwhelming love feels warranted. Scaring the Hoes is everything that a Danny Brown and JPEGMAFIA collaboration should be: comedic yet dark, subtle yet bold, and a distinct melding of both musicians' trademark styles while remaining unpredictable in its own right. All that we can do now is hope that this isn't the last we see of full-length collabs from Peggy and Danny.
