    Thanks for posting these videos. I have added a second mediation sit in the evenings since watching. Any books you would recommend on vipassana meditation or meditation in general? Currently practicing the methods from the book the illuminated mind. Would love to hear more on how your practice has impacted your daily life.

      I think noting beats attending a silent 10 day meditation course. You can find the link in any of my videos to attend.
      To break through, there's nothing more than practicing. The mechanic techniques themselves don't go deeper than what you've probably read about. At the 10 day, 3 and a half days are dedicated to breath meditation by focusing on the breath at the nostril area. Then the remaining days are being aware of bodily sensations.
      You've probably read about these two things. The real understanding comes from doing it 10-12 hours a day and seeing how to actually work. And getting your mind calmed down enough to actually experience a meditative state.
      So it's nothing mind boggling. There's no secret meditation techniques. There's no things you're probably not what familiar with. The only question is a matter of depth. The depth can only be achieved through continuity of practice.
      So if you have the time (the course is free) I would highly recommend you go.
