My two favorites in the ADG line are Profumo and Profundo. I can't judge Absolu because I haven't tried it.
Absolu and Essenza are my favs. But the OG, man... i will always buy that. I have so many amazing memories with that one. The first parfum i owned because i got it from my mom when i was 14. 2 weeks later she sadly died. Everytime i smell it it reminds me of her. Rip mom, i love you

Absolu is KING. It’s a bigger compliment getter than any fragrance I’ve ever used. Lasts forever, projects like a monster. Such an underrated, sophisticated summery fragrance.

Profundo is a summertime heavyweight. It’s just so soothing bright and refreshing in an oceanic way. I have no idea how they got such a perfect mix of minerals and humidity into the frag. Best part is it’s super inoffensive.
Hows the projection on it? I personally get no projection, same with longevity
@@jacobeames4093 depends how you define “projection”. I would say 10/10 in the sense that it always gets noticed but it’s very humid, cool and refreshing like a morning ocean breeze.. that aside it’s by no means a “loud” fragrance I just think the vapor like mist pulls people in.

Gotten incredible compliments and responses from women even ceos of my job. Anytime I wear it I get results. I fell in love with it off a sample macys gave me. My nose didn’t fail me. Amazing scent
I get terrible performance with Profondo. Really disappointing for the price. It turns into a skin scent after an hour, the projection and longevity let's it down but the actual scent is great.
For me, Profumo could easily have Ben the “flagship” of the line.
It’s much more of a sensual, refined and well-rounded fragrance. I know it seems a weird statement, but I just never got on with the original. Something in my chemistry I suppose.
Profondo is ahead of its time. In a year or two it will grow on people

I’m a younger guy but I like the older classy fragrances and I just smelled ADG EDP. Much better to my nose than all of these. Profumo was a bit divisive to me so I passed. Heard it’s about to be discontinued as well

@@1giane I wouldnt use it at work and not in school ! I It is really a deep frag. intoxicating other. Profondo is just fresh and nice to smell for everyone. I think it just dont fit in these situation. For school or work I would use something more subtile

Very well done! Couldn’t agree more with your review. I am a huge fan of the ADG line and own 4 of the fragrances mentioned. Living in FL, Profondo has become my signature scent. It is definitely the freshest take on the entire line. I have gotten countless compliments wearing it. IMO, no fragrance smells/performs better on a man when they are hot or sweating than an ADG.

I came across Essenza last year for 120 cad at a local perfume shop. Smelled it and realised it's a fresher version on the OG. Also not realizing its a discontinued scent, I didn't buy it. I went back and it was sold lol

Absolu instinct smells aquatic at the swamp though to me. Unlike a fresh ocean or vacation on a boat vibe I feel like I'm going to fight gators and crocodiles lol!!!
My favorite from the bunch is Absolu. Personally I don't get invictus aqua at all besides its an aquatic with some sweetness in it but I feel both go completely different directions!! Absolu I feel could be worn all year around it much more versatile with the citrusy notes like lemon and bergamot and grapefruit and the woody dry down i feel makes it nice for going out also.
I absolutely love Absolu Instinct. I'm glad that I have this one in my collection, considering it's discontinued.

I bought Profumo recently and the batch is from February 2021 so its right at a year old and it has a magnetic cap.
Acqua di gio absolute instinct doesn't smell good off the skin but it smells great in the air and it gets a lot of compliments
Essenza is the best for me. I have not smelt the new one however.
hey folks, if you want to know what essenza smells like, there's a body spray from bath & body works for $10 called freshwater that is very similar. i suggest this if you don't want to break the bank to discover the scent

It smells really good. Gets me a lot of compliments. However your opinion will get me to try profondo 👍
So I’ve tried to get into Profumo and have smelled it many times, but although it smells nice the incense is something that was a little too much for me. I feel like profondo will be much more to my liking, but of course I’m def gonna try a sample first!
Did you end up liking it more? I was the complete opposite! Profumo was lighter and I very much preferred the darker take (the incense) on profumo and loved it!

I love Acqua Di Gio the original, Pacsun used to have a Cologne called Kirra for Guys, the one with a black and red cap, That stuff was even better than acqua di gio, it was Sweeter and more lemon, lime , and other stuff that smelled so damn good
It's crazy abdolu is a compliment king. But, to be honest profundo has the best dry down. It's grown

honestly, i don't have huge fragrances knowledge so i don't really know if people like the minerals note when i use it or not so i stopped wearing profondo even if all the online reviews say its great.

Essenza is king! The next closest thing is Profondo. The opening is different but the dry down smells exactly like Essenza. I can’t even tell the difference in the drydown. Profumo is more mature.
Profumo, Profondo, Absolu, OG, Absolu Instinct. Never smelled the others wish I could’ve smell essenza, and ADG Blue pour homme
Essenza is the star of the ADG line. It it intense and so strong. Crazy performance and projection unlike anything I’ve ever wore.

If you want something in the same realm as Essenza try Bentley Silverlake. Not the same outright but gives me the same vibe and has many of the same notes
Solid review. Between profumo and profondo, i think profumo smells like something an old man would wear.. And I'm in my 40s. So maybe in 20+ years lol. Profondo is 👍. Edp over essenza for me as well

I’ve been waiting on an English review of profondo lights as well. There’s some on here but from other countries
I wore the original ADG for 12 years and I just can’t bring myself to buy anything that smells close to it. I thought about buying Profumo but when I smelled it at the store it smelled similar to the original to me. Maybe I’ll try to test it again because my nose was still recovering from Covid.
Here are 2 suggestions. Get samples of Creed Erolfa and Millesime Imperial. Since you like marine, aquatic and citrus, you'll love those.
I can’t stand Profumo on my skin. Love it off other people though. Absolu instinct off my skin is the best of the line.

20 years ago, I bought a bottle of ADG original. It was good for a while but I stoped wearing it and let it sit on a drawer, collecting dusts for years. A few years ago I smelled it and found it turned sour. So, I acquired an Essenza for nostalgic reasons. It is harsher and more metallic than the original. So, I thought i was gonna get rid of it. Then, i heard it was discontinued. Well, it will just be in a wine cooler along with the rest of my collection.

Absolu is best for me. All the others are kinda eh too my nose. It’s more than a aquatic fragrance.

Profumo is good but I like profondo and Edp a Lot better I think profondo is a little easier to wear but less versatile and will be more appealing to the average Joe IMO next to Profumo can t really go wrong with either though

All pretty expensive for super generic frags. Would rather just pickup 360 red and spend my money elsewhere. Great guide though.
@Travis Sinder for how absolutely forgettable and generic they are yeah they are expensive IMO. 360 red is basically the same thing with better performance and almost free. So many better bottles out there for fractions of the price or better bottles in the same price range or higher that don’t give a generic air freshener bug spray vibe.

@@OJennifer13 360 red is an ADG clone. Better performance, smell, and dirt cheap. (Also super generic since it is basically a slightly spicier ADG but at least you don’t pay Armani prices to smell like everyone else).
