Gio was the first cologne that wowed me back in the 90s. That was my scent. I remembered where I bought it. Flying back from Mexico trip the stewardess during flight back was selling stuff down the aisle, liquor, watches and gave me a sample of Gio. It was great! She said it was a flight only sale price at 45 bucks. Me, a college kid without a lot of money, had to think it over. Bought it eventually and it was my prize possession for awhile. Now I own profumo and profondo. All great scents to me.
Armani has a deal going right now where they give you a 40ml of Profondo if you order a $100 bottle of anything else. I just ordered a bottle of Profumo, got the free Profondo, and 2 free samples, Profondo Lights and Prive Vetiver Hiver. Not bad for $102.
Profondo is my favorite one, despite its deodorant-like metallic sharpness it has a nice sweet citrus scent. Profumo to me smells like Versace Dylan Blue with less incense harshness and some aquatic feel.
I remember smelling the original in a magazine when it first came out. I kept telling people that I wanted it. Never got it. Imma grab some samples of the entire line and go from there.
It's my favorite designer line, and I have them all, including ADG Blue!!! Not a lot of people know about that one, and it is perhaps my favorite!!! I have to wear it sparingly though I only have about 50mls left!!! Just got Profondo Lights in today as a matter of fact!!! What a coincidence!!🤣😉🍻 Great video bud, stay humble!!
I own Profumo and I truly enjoy it over the others. Imho, Profumo is the king of the mountain out of the line as you mentioned. Great review sir. Shout out from Costa Rica ✌🏽
While I can appreciate that the Essenza and Special Blend are super expensive now, you are a highly looked apron fragrance guru. You almost have the complete collection as well. I was definitely let down by you not owning those 2. Come on man, this is an iconic line up, and u don’t want to spend some cheese on the last most sought out 2 fragrances. 😢

This is a very informative video. I was a huge fan of absolu and Profumo and of course the original but now I think I might try profundp and profundo lights.
last 20 years i didnt really used alot of fragrance somehow only used it in the morning and didnt really care lol when i was younger i had alot of fragrances... got back into it lately and adg is one of my faves... i have profondo, and edp as 125ml and the others all as 40ml because they expensive and hard to find... i want to get me the profondo parfum and the parfum 24 version... it sucks the bottle is smaller now lol

Have them all bar Profondo Lights, and think Profumo is the best. I do have an unopened Essenza 75ml, so have to break into that before the summer is out, and see what it's all about.
You do great reviews.. and your opinions have been solid. I don't know if I am crazy, but when I sprayed Profundo on paper it reminded me of something like versace pour homme or allure sport. Has that vibe I can't put into words. Aventus Cologne also has that same vibe to me. Not sure exactly what I am smelling to make me think that.
Profondo and lights are the only 2 I really like. Absolu is good too. But profondo was my must have bottle. Maybe of been lights if I didn’t get profondo first
Great review as always. I own all the flankers in this line except Profumo. I know the majority considers it to be the best but I can't bring myself to like it. Not for sure why but it does give you a mature uncle vibe😂 and I can't see myself paying over $100 just because the bottle looks cool.

Crazy that there's talk of discontinuing Profumo. That's the only one I own but it's only a small bottle, so I may have to get another. The only other one I've smelled (aside from the original) is Lights, but I'm not overly keen.

Profumo is the only one I own a bottle of, and it's one of my favorites in my collection. But I have smelled the original a few times with samples, and it's one of my wife's favorite smells ever. So I think I might need to get a bottle of that one of these days. And based on those two facts, I think I might just buy them all one day.
If u hadn’t gotten it yet u can test it out for only $20 or less by getting Paris Hilton just me from Burlington. It smells just like ADG to me. Perry ellis 360 red does as well just a lil spicier. I like just me Paris Hilton. And it performs real good.
I have the original and profomo. Smelled profundo the other day, it's too aquatic. Plus I put it on the back of my hand, and I also try regular armani code edt. The code lasted longer on my skin lol.

Did you miss the notes he described? Maybe one will have to be familiar with fragrance vocabulary. Listen to the notes he described and research them if you aren’t familiar what the scents are he mentioned.
I am a gree with you. Profumo it's the best one. The Profondo one is weird, because his fragance last very few time and you need to aply like 7 or 8 shots to smeel it and profumo only takes 3 shots to smeel it from two meter long and last like 6 hours.
90% through my 75ml of Profondo and now I own two 4.2oz and one 6.7oz backup as it will be my signature scent until the end of days!!

I have the Essense with the 200ml and scarf in the box and the bottle is 3/4 full.
I have a bottle of the OG from 2010 and that is pretty beast mode just like my 2010 la male.
