You’ve been doing your thing since I’ve discovered your channel years ago! I hope everything is well with you and the family. Happy holidays! Keep grinding! Your fishroom looks phenomenal!
Yo! Cleveland, Thnx for the update, I love your videos man & the channel as well. Gonna checkout your ladies channel & then click Subscribe for sure. Keep it up man.
Merry Christmas hope it was great your family… and yes been on vacation for week and 5 day with pay let’s gooooooo and yesssss the 1300 look fucking great and the red and black is looking fresh
Fish room and fish are sick love the plywood build but those Torino peacock bass will get the same size of your Jardine or a little bigger with peacock bass the more room the better
Thanks. I appreciate it. And my peacock bass are Orinoco and they max out at 2ft. The jardini will max out at around 28in. So it does goes bigger than the peacock bass. I’ve actually seen 24in jardini. I have never seen a 24in peacock bass in person. I’d think they reach that size in the wild where they have so much more room to grow.
My favorite color is red too and I love how your fish room is looking I would took that Buttikoferi tilapia off your hands, but I live in New York I would’ve put her in one of my new 225 gallon aquarium
I ran across your channel about about a month ago and have been amazed. Maybe someday I'll be lucky and run into you because I frequent aquatic collection, exotic in sac also mostly go to twins in Stockton.
@TheFishCorner I live in oadale near Modesto and have a 240 Fowler 65 softie reef and 135 fresh currently trying discus and at times always seems like a struggle. What I liked when I first saw your channel is that everybody has a vision in the back of there mind as you progress through the hobby but you are doing it. Truly inspiring. thank you
@TheFishCorner I started the last weekend,I had do the stacked way with 2x4 glue/screw together one above the other super strong, 6ft of length with 2x 6Ft window on each side and 4ft wide by 40inch of deep :) maybe in 1month I will do the fiberglass all the aquarium and after I will do pondshield
Hey braddah love seeing your content bit word of advice I would put those frontosa in a species only and I definitely wouldn’t keep them with lake Malawi cichlids totally different vibe of fish your fronts will get messed up eventually
I appreciate the feedback Chase. I don’t plan on separating them, they’re the dominant fish in the tank and I don’t like frontosa enough to keep them in a species only aquarium. That said, if any problems ever arise, I’ll deal with any problems accordingly.
What’s the deal bro I see you puttin in that work keep up, are you trying to get rid of any of your tanks I’m looking for a 220. Much respect Salute! 🫡
Hasn’t been a problem since I started using them years ago. As a precaution someone can let them sit in water to leach out any chemicals. I recommend to only do what you’re comfortable with. I’m very comfortable with using cinder blocks in my ponds/aquariums.
Right now my stuff are in a tote and buckets, im in an apartment amd my fishroom is in the front room so i cant really organize my fishroom how i really want to
Just wondering, when you built the 1300 gallon tank, did you toe nail the vertical studs to the horizontal studs? You didnt show that process if you did so I wasn’t sure.
@ Ok so you used screws instead of nails, sorta “toe screwed” them in? But still you needed to screw them in from the side in an angle like toe nailing? Just wanted some clarification. BTW, I admire your determination and the planning that went into the build. Looking forward to the day you move fish into the tank! Happy New Year to you and family..
@ I appreciate your feedback and interest. Your support is humbling. As to how I screwed the studs in. I screwed the top, same as I did the bottom horizontal beams. I put two screws in each 2x4 stud. Some studs are doubled up but the center and ends have 6-8 studs screwed together. So each of those upright 2x4 studs have two screws in each of them screwed into the horizontal beam. Each additional horizontal beam has 16 3in screws in it. After the third beam I used 5in screws to secure them together along with the 16 3in screws. I used 6in lag screws to secure the third beam into the vertical upright studs in the center and on the ends. On the fourth horizontal beam I used 6in screws in the corners and 16 3in screws along the horizontal beam. Each horizontal beam overlaps on the corners to ensure it can handle maximum pressure from the water.
Bro your fish room is amazing. I'm so jealous of everything except your electric bill.
Thanks. The electric bill isn’t that high at all. Only in the summer when I have to cool the rooms with AC units.
Let's gooo🌊🐟

My favorite color is red too and I love how your fish room is looking I would took that Buttikoferi tilapia off your hands, but I live in New York I would’ve put her in one of my new 225 gallon aquarium

bro your my inspiration
🫡 I appreciate you.
You should go red dominant on the wood 🙌 really make the color red the main color of your fish room
Thank you for your feedback.
Hey braddah love seeing your content bit word of advice I would put those frontosa in a species only and I definitely wouldn’t keep them with lake Malawi cichlids totally different vibe of fish your fronts will get messed up eventually

@ best of luck brother if anyone can pull off keeping them together it would be you happy new year to you and your ohana🤙
What’s the deal bro I see you puttin in that work keep up, are you trying to get rid of any of your tanks I’m looking for a 220. Much respect Salute! 🫡
Definitely putting the work in! And no, I don’t have any big tanks I’m getting rid of.
How’d you get the design on the plywood tank?
Won’t those concrete blocks leach chemicals into the water?
Hasn’t been a problem since I started using them years ago. As a precaution someone can let them sit in water to leach out any chemicals. I recommend to only do what you’re comfortable with. I’m very comfortable with using cinder blocks in my ponds/aquariums.
Great answer.
Thanks
How much would shipping be to philadelphia..I would take her
I appreciate you offering, shipping would be ridiculous and not worth the risk, she’s way too aggressive. She’ll put holes in any bag.
Right now my stuff are in a tote and buckets, im in an apartment amd my fishroom is in the front room so i cant really organize my fishroom how i really want to
I was in the same boat 3yrs ago bro.
@TheFishCorner looking to fet a house,I just had a baby boy
Just wondering, when you built the 1300 gallon tank, did you toe nail the vertical studs to the horizontal studs? You didnt show that process if you did so I wasn’t sure.
All screws. No nails. I screwed everything together.
@ Ok so you used screws instead of nails, sorta “toe screwed” them in? But still you needed to screw them in from the side in an angle like toe nailing? Just wanted some clarification. Did you name your big tank?
No.
Malawi / Tanganika tank.
Yea
