Thanks Babe! And we love the cinder blocks that allow me to climb in and out of the tank! Especially since it’ll also provide refuge for the fish! Thank you for always being supportive! 😘
@ There’s always a method to your madness! It makes sense, babe, and quite frankly, it’s a pretty smart idea: one, for climbing in and out as you stated; and two, for the fish to hide, juuuuust in case! 😘😘
You’re such an inspiration, man. I wouldn’t even know where to start if I wanted to build my own ish. The best plywood on YT frfr! I personally like the cinder blocks 🧱 can’t wait to see the next video, bro!
Love that tank I wish I had it! 😂. The red and black is a real Nice touch. I’m new to this comment section but been watching some of your content. It’s inspiring to see such a beautiful aquarium.
Clevelanda the 1300 is looking amazing with the little bit of greenery in there, but yes, you might not be able to no matter which way you go in the dragons den I’ll be watching love the videos keep up the hard work, bud. See you on the next one.
Hey brotha congrats on making and reaching new goals!! Its inspiring ..and i agree .."THE DRAGON DEN" CAUSE OF the dragon fish aka the Arowana..for your first time you actually bulit it better then some others ive seen with multiple under the belt..much love keep inspiring king the world needs it 👊👊
Beautifully done. I would try and get some really hardy plants in there. There are some plants that are so fibrous - fish won’t touch them. The reason is that - with all the rocks, you won’t be able to vacuum half the bottom ever. So you may need a little help from the plants to keep the nitrates down. The plants you already keep in most of your tanks seem to be fish resistant.
Thank you! We’re on the same page! I really want to have some plants helping me with the natural filtration, gravel vacuuming is never going to be a possibility! These big cichlids will rip apart most plants, that’s why I usually throw plants in the sump or flower pots. I will find a way by the time I’m ready to add fish.
Dope bro! Looking awesome man!! I had to do my driftwood the same way,,oh and I’m looking for my viewing panel for my plywood build.. very inspiring (dragons den) Dope💯💯💪🏾💪🏾🔥
Thanks Mo! The hard work paid off! Shop around for the viewing panel, at least get 3 quotes minimum. I can’t wait to see it come into fruition. Bro, I hear TikTok is getting back by the 19th of this month. Start a UA-cam channel just in case.
Love the scape my guy!! The only thing I would do differently is find some boulders or another alternative that can replace those cinderblock as steps. The cinder blocks are def an eyesore in my opinion.
Thanks! And nah! I like the cinder blocks. They provide caves for the fish and serve as steps for me to get in and out. 100% not an eyesore to me. I respect your feedback though! 🫡
We use the same heater on our pond and we love it the tank looks so good looks like the bottom or a river you should try to find a dam or a river close to you and look around for driftwood we find really nice pieces when we go look but we live right next to 2 giant lakes so it’s easy for us sometimes just make sure to dry it out first we just let it sit in the sun and make sure it’s not soft cause then it can fall apart and get everywhere
Yep, it’s an excellent heater. I’m done with driftwood. That’s all I plan on putting in there. Gotta leave room for the fish. Now I just need to get some greenery in there, somehow.
@ yea I don’t know what to do for greenery might need to look into large pond plants I’d just be worried the fish pulling them out and stuff might do extra large artificial plants or something lol
You do know the concrete blocks may take a year or longer before they’re done leaching out lime into your aquarium. The line will definitely do a number on your pH on that aquarium. my suggestion to you is to pull the cement blocks out of the aquarium and let them cure in a little outside pond for a year before using them.
You do know this is not the first time I’ve used cinder blocks right? It doesn’t take a year to leach the chemicals out of freshly poured cement. And it takes no time for the cinder blocks. I haven’t had any issues with them in my indoor pond as of 2yrs or my outdoor pond for over a year. I don’t know what to tell you. Like I said many times before, do what you’re comfortable with. I have experience with throwing cinder blocks right in and not having any problems.
Good stuff ! Happy Bew Year This tank is looking great. Im still needing to resolve the leak I had in my 660g system. Should be back together in about a month. Got some interesting stock changes coming too. I hear you about boulders. Ive got a couple over 100Lbs.
Thank you Bro! And no doubt! I’m building the 3000g on raised cinder blocks to prevent it from water damage if I ever flood a tank or sump, which unfortunately happens more than I’d like. 😅 learning from OFR with their 3000g. All that water soaking into the wood foundation of the 3000g is causing it to constantly leak nonstop, and start breaking down. It could be a catastrophic failure any day, luckily they’re about to set up the steel 3000g any day now.
Looking good brotha, love how you anchored the wood to the pavers. Definitely going to have to bite that technique lol 😂! Can you do a video on how much it’s costing you in electricity and water a month for both rooms? Just wanted the idea of how much it’s going to cost me when I set my garage up. Also, did you upgrade any of your electrical sockets or add any electrical sockets?
Thanks Bruh, you can definitely but that idea! As for the electricity and water bill. It’s not that bad, but everyone’s bills are going to be different. I can make a video talking about it.
It looks good, just the concrete blocks don't look great maybe paint them black and put some rocks and fake plants to hide them. The rest of the aquarium looks 👌
I’ve mentioned in numerous videos why I have the cinder blocks, but if you missed it, the reason for the cinder blocks is because I need them to climb in and out the tank. It’s a 4ft high tank. Climbing in and out is practically impossible. The tank is 7ft off the ground and it’s extremely difficult to climb in and out of a tank that’s 4ft tall.
@jonathane317 oh okay, yea that’s an idea. Not sure how I could do that though. I really don’t want a bunch of fake plants in there… I’m figure it out though. I appreciate the feedback, I’m going to put some thought to it.
Hell yeah look great and what you gonna use to heat up these huge aquariums just curious was wonder how you glue or put the blocks on trunks looks dope asf love the set up
I’m definitely keeping the cinder blocks in the tank. That’s how I climb in and out of the tank. The tank is 4ft tall and climbing in and out of it is almost impossible. It’s just not worth the hassle to do it any other way. It’s multipurpose, it’s my stairs and a hiding structure for the fish. I honestly like the way it looks.
@TheFishCorner the Scape looks amazing the cinder blocks would look brilliant sort of camouflaged to look like caves like you said for hides for the fish
Off the back that tank is🔥 as is. Don't give up on the plants just yet, try some hard leaf plants like anubias, bullbitis or Java ferm other Yotubers say fish Don't like the taste
Off the back your comment is appreciated! 🫡 Anubias are hardy but I’ve tried them, they don’t eat them, just rip them up. 😅 I’m going to figure something out though!
Gotta be able to climb in and out of the tank sometimes. It’s a 4ft tank that 7ft high. The way that I have the tank set up, climbing in and out without something to climb on is impossible.
What i did, get some flat slate rock, and use fishing line to tie wood to the slate. Slate is really thin and heavy, so you can then burry the slate in your gravel. Also, i used tree wood and to clear up the slime and mold(that WILL GROW) ,put a few plecos in, they eat the mold and slime.
The slate rock wouldn’t hold down these pieces. Besides, it’s covered and buried just fine. As for the plecos. I’m not comfortable putting plecos in a plywood aquarium. The could potentially damage the pond shield overtime. I appreciate all the feedback though.
Man that scape is amazing bro ! Dope aesthetic, the standing log pillars are a nice touch fasho ! Awesome job bro on this build again 🫡💯🔥🤙🏾
Thank you Bro! I appreciate you! Thank you for the feedback!
I love the scape!! I can’t scape to save my life. Can’t wait to see fish in that big boy tank.
Thank you! Me neither but I still try!

Beautiful scape Bro! Yeah, fake plants will be the way to go especially after they get a little algae on them. 1300 gallon for the win.
Thank you Bro! That’s what I’m thinking!

@TheFishCorner I didn't say take them out. Just camouflage them so your eye doesn't go right to them and take away from your scape
@jonathane317 oh okay, yea that’s an idea. Not sure how I could do that though. I really don’t want a bunch of fake plants in there… I’m figure it out though. I appreciate the feedback, I’m going to put some thought to it.
Cleveland how come you don't open up a fish store ? 😊😊😊😊😊
Because it would take the joy out of the hobby, once it becomes work, it’s no longer enjoyable. I enjoy keeping fish, not selling fish.
Aquatic plants sprite, mossy, glued stem plants 🌱 to the tops of the trees 🌳 trees 🌴 and carpeting plants 🌱 👀
Not possible with the fish going in it
💯!!!!
🫡
Hell yeah look great and what you gonna use to heat up these huge aquariums just curious was wonder how you glue or put the blocks on trunks looks dope asf love the set up
Thanks Chase. I’m going to use a 1000W heater and I used stainless steel screws to secure the cement to the wood. 🫡
@ ohhh wow okay just one I would have thought It would take somthing bigger
@chasestom6117 Nope. One will be enough.
Build looks awesome. Im behind on videos. 1300 wont be saltwater anymore? What are you building for the sharks and lisa ray in the future?
Thanks. I appreciate it. 👊🏾
Throw in some 20 cherry shrimp 🦐 ❤to eat off slime spores then take them out and get a credit from your local pet shop
It would be impossible to catch 20 cherry shrimp in this massive tank.
are you keeping the cinder blocks in there? i think it would look better without them. awesome video as usual one of the best fish channels on yt
I’m definitely keeping the cinder blocks in the tank. That’s how I climb in and out of the tank. The tank is 4ft tall and climbing in and out of it is almost impossible. Need to charge $5 a head for a fish tour when you’re done
😂
I just set up another channel bro but think imma try to incorporate what I'm going to be doing on this channel on my fish channel
🫡
Plastic screws 👀 and glue or concrete canvas
?
Off the back that tank is🔥 as is.
Don't give up on the plants just yet, try some hard leaf plants like anubias, bullbitis or Java ferm other Yotubers say fish Don't like the taste

Not bad.
Why are the blocks in there...scape looks good without.
Gotta be able to climb in and out of the tank sometimes. It’s a 4ft tank that 7ft high. The way that I have the tank set up, climbing in and out without something to climb on is impossible.
Mix the plants with real & fake, might confuse the fish & leave em alone 🤔
That’s definitely a thought 💭 Thanks for the feedback/idea bro! 🫡
If you have anything extra don't throw it away bro let me get it.
😂
Oo and speaking of plants try fake silk plants the look real but are not plastic and flow more real like
Might be a good alternative, thank you for the idea 💡 🫡
