I have more than 1000km on this bike and the rear brakes dont last long and I had to replace them. The bike is perfect for commuting tho! I recommend it. before I forget to add! The range is only 24km if you use 100 percent electric and you ride it at 40km/h.

The bike computer you have is a "new version" with much less information. Before the M1 Pro (and also D4S) was equipped with much advanced computer. As this new bike computer seems to be a downgrade, I contacted Fiido to provide me explanation. Fiido confirmed they re-start to use the previous computer in July 2022. Perhaps they have a lack of components.

Had this bike for a few months, while it's a great bike overall it does have a few problems:
Brakes become loose and need readjusting fairly often.
The tyres really do not handle well in the rain. Do NOT corner at any sort of speed on a wet path.
In unlocked mode I can only get around 30km of range.
I do wish the display had battery voltage and a odometer atleast.
The throttle and pedal assist doesn't have any modularity. it's either on or off which can be quite scary of you are pedalling slowly. and the motor suddenly kicks in. (almost sent me into a ditch once).
The light on the front isn't really bright enough to illuminate a dark road.

    • @stevemann7073
      @stevemann7073 2 роки тому

You have to take the good with the bad. You cant go full electric without it costing you in autonomy. I do a mixture of PAS and throttle in my 20 mile round trip commute each day. And it gets me to work and back. The throttle is useful for getting past more dangerous stretches of road quickly. Where you are being passed by buses and lorries alot. And this is where I use it. And on steep hills. On flat more pleasant stretches of road. I use the pas more. And doing this that 12.8AH battery gives me 20 to 25 miles a charge.

I actually like that it doesn't have those extendable handlebars, because they're so tall and ugly. And i like that the display is small and simple. It's nice and clean. I don't want a huge screen. When things are too practical, they become fanny packs. It will start looking like a boy scouts bike.
I did change the handlebar to a wider one though, and it's so much nicer to ride. More smooth and stable riding experience. The stock is so narrow and weird. All upgrades i've done are handlebar, seat, grips, pedals. It looks and feels much better. I'm thinking of upgrading the freewheel as well, so i can pedal at higher speeds.
Edit: I also got the mudguards with mine. They're plastic, and looks pretty cool. Doeasn't flop around. I wasn't planning on using them, as i like the look without, but since i got them, and they looked good, i use them. Nice to be able to ride in rain/snow/dirt without getting dirty.

By using my m1 pro for few months have come to several issues , one is front breaks being so loud it feels like someone is scratching white board , and sound is too loud to drive , maybe faulty disk break block or something , once recieving the bike wasnt really working , since it turned out after 5 minutes full charge , but it was solved under waranty after dealing with customer support for 2 months 😅 offroad works well, bent slightly the rear wheel which will slightly need to be straightened so wouldnt suggest to do jumps with it, the seat with longer rides would be great to be replaced and front headlight is pretty weak. Saying all that the suspension is pretty good max speed when unlocked can go up to 40 to 42 for 86kgs, the weight is managable to be carried anywhere and goes trough deeper sand in beachea pretty well too, average distance which it lasts is about 40km . Once i replace front breaks and straighten the wheel rest should work fine.

You really dont need it. With the fat tyres. A good saddle you will be very comfortable. I used to have a FIIDO D4S. Good bike. But NO SUSPENSION. I ride my M1 PRO on the same route. And the difference is night and day.
Rough roads that used to shake me to my core. Now feel so much better.
I can even come off and on 4 inch curbs. Something I would never risk with the D4S.
The M1 pro is a marvel. I rate it the best sub €1200 ebike period. Its torque is AWESOME. I've been on a Engwe EP-2 pro. And the M1 pro is a better hill climber even though its rated 48V and 500w. It takes hills better than a 48V 750w Ep2 pro.

      @@TechLineHD
The ADO A20F is a stunning looking bike. And okay. But a fat tyre bike really needs at least a 48V battery to go with that 500w motor. And that's what let's the ADO A20F down if there was a way to upgrade it to the same spec as the M1 pro. It becomes a great bike. It lacks the torque and top end speed of the M1 pro. 25 mph vs 28mph. I ridden them both. And prefer the look of a black ADO A20F. But like the torque and serious speed of the M1 Pro.
Hopefully ADO will improve on the A20F in the future.

No it is NOT worth buying in 2022 I just bought mine and they revised the bike and speed unlock is different now....and I can only get 22mph ...not worth the money I have a 600$ amazon bike that is just as fast! DONT DO IT!

Anyone used this bike regularly in the rain? Would love to use it as a daily commuter... but I live in the UK 😂😂

Got mine an hour ago, came with mud guards 🤷🏼 it says don’t leave it outside in rain/snow etc. but it’s waterproof.
Commuting is what I bought it for as well, thanks to the bike2work scheme 😂

I have over 1000km on it now and I drove through some storms. Im from belgium btw so the weather is probably similar. Bike held up perfectly. Only the brakes are low quality and need to be replaced. The AVID bb7 is a perfect replacement.
