In light of the ongoing global economic crisis, it is crucial for everyone to prioritize investing in diverse sources of income that are not reliant on the government. This includes exploring opportunities in stocks, gold, silver, and digital currencies. Despite the challenging economic situation, it remains a favorable time to consider these investments.

The pathway to substantial returns doesn't solely rely on stocks with significant movements. Instead, it revolves around effectively managing risk relative to reward. By appropriately sizing your positions and capitalizing on your advantage repeatedly, you can progressively work towards achieving your financial goals. This principle applies across various investment approaches, whether it be long-term investing or day trading.

I've been in touch with a financial advisor ever since I started my business. Knowing today's culture The challenge is knowing when to purchase or sell when investing in trending stocks, which is pretty simple. On my portfolio, which has grown over $900k in a little over a year, my adviser chooses entry and exit orders.

The rising interest rate can surely control inflation, but won't prevent erosion of the eroding purchasing power of the US dollar. I have learnt my lesson this time. The banks can't be making money off my money, while inflation eats into it. I have set aside 650k to invest in the stock market now, since that keeps up with inflation, but I don't know how to get started.

There is an equal market chance associated with each crash or collapse. I have seen people accumulate up to $1 million during a crisis, and even make it work in a strong economy if they are prepared and well-informed. Without a doubt, the bubble/collapse is making someone wealthy.

With the Fed cutting interest rates by 50 bps, what do you think will happen to the stock market? My portfolio has performed exceptionally well this year, but I am concerned about the possibility of a market crash and losing my gains though but, it's all on a brighter and splurging side for Gold, should I look that way?

    • @joshbarney114
      @joshbarney114 Місяць тому +4

Gold is often seen as a safe-haven asset that can protect against inflation and economic uncertainty. But like any investment, it carries risks. To determine if gold is the right investment option for you, an investment advisor can help you weigh the potential benefits and risks of investing in gold. They can also help you create a well-diversified portfolio that includes gold as part of a broader investment strategy. An investment advisor can help you decide how much of your portfolio should be allocated to gold and select other investments that can complement your gold holdings.

Investing in gold is a reliable choice, and I plan to keep buying more to make up for my losses. While silver is also a good investment, my collectibles are not as similar. It's important to have clear investment goals and educate yourself on the type of investment that interests you. Its worse here, our economy is like a flailing fish, fighting for its life. The normal state of the U.S. economy is actually very bad. Because of this it goes into convulsive spasms fighting to grow any way it can out of desperation. Tricks, gimmicks, rule changes try to stimulate the economy and prevent it from falling but they only bring temporary relief to people since, when you factor in inflation we are declining.

People believe their currency has the worth it does because they have no other option. Even in a hyperinflationary environment, individuals must continue to use their hyperinflationary currency since they likely have minimal access to other currencies or gold/silver coins.

Inflation is gradually going to become part of us and due to that fact any money you keep in cash or in a low-interest account declines in value each year. I do my homework, and I can easily find what the true inflation numbers are and not the gullible people that believe what any government says. It's too easy to find the truth, yet most don't bother to check. Most business never allocate 20% or more of their costs to employee expenses, so, wages are not the cause of inflation. And profit margins are increasing over time, so, do you honestly think employees are too expensive? No, employees are too rare in places no matter how much you pay them, because you have to compete. You want cheap labor, then go to China and see if you can survive as a boss or a slave. You'll get screwed over either way. You don't understand, it's not the numbers that's the priority. The true values are based on the ratios in relation to everything else. If you are naïve to base your theories on static numbers, then you'll be a sucker and a puppet, and the ones that control you will never trust you, because they know you can be manipulated. It’s common sense. In order to cut Fed must increase money supply. That spikes inflation. Bond holders then require higher yield on long term bonds which will cause long term rates to go up, while the fed is dropping short term rates. The fed obviously knows economics and knows this. But, their purpose is to save a dying economy at the expense of higher long term rates, until the collapse happens - in other words the rate cuts are designed to “kick the can down the road” at the expense of a worse collapse. The final conclusion can only be that this is a controlled collapse, engineered as the great economic reset with the participants being the fed, well for me tho Bitcoin is the ultimate defence against a tyrannical government.r.....I've been engaged in active trading and managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.3Bitcoin to a decent 24Bitcoin....I'm especially grateful to Francine Duguay, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

Over and over again I hear analysts in other countries talk about how the Fed interest rates affect their economies as though the Fed sets rates as a weapon against them
IMO nothing could be further from the truth, the Fed operates completely independently of the main Federal government and likely pays very little attention to how its actions affect economies outside the US. The Fed manages the American economy and its focus is on American economic health. The Fed is not responsible for the health of the global economy or any other country's economy.
That said, the Fed is very aware of how its policies affect close allied friends of the US. The Fed and Treasury sent envoys almost monthly to Japan for 2 years preparing and warning Japan before the Fed started hiking interest rates. Japan probably didn't heed Fed warnings since it decided to pursue policy opposite the US believing Japan faced greater problems of economic stagnation but they were more than fully warned for the consequences of high US interest rates.
The Fed hiked interest rates to conquer inflation and it appears that it succeeded so now the expectation is to see interest rates ease to address the intentionally slowing economy so that it doesn't trend too far and become a contraction aka Recession.
Still, the unintended global effects can be noted...
High tech interest rates coincided opportunistically with Putin's Ukraine war and China's alleged preparation for war making it much more difficult and costly for both to wage war. This assumes that any commitment for war requires digging deep into economic resources including piling up debt while US and its allies due to their lack of commitment aren't compelled to pile up heavy debt.
The other global factor the Fed pays attention is demand for US Treasuries. Although China and Japan have been flooding the marketplace selling debt they owned, reportedly there is still strong demand for the Dollar with more than 2 potential buyers for every sale during auction. BRICS efforts to devalue the Dollar has been a complete failure, only China has made significant progress settling transactions using a Dollar alternative and converting its Dollar reserves to something else, most often gold because apparently the RMB isn't strong enough.

Please… if you’re going to interview anyone such as Freya Beamish, have them use their phone. Freya’s webcam sound and visual quality is awful. It’s hard to listen to them when the sound is utterly abrasive. Insist they use their phone instead as it’ll no doubt be superior audio and video quality.

Why would Trump talk about it. He increased the deficit by more than any president ever and that was even before Covid.
Kamala Harris would do great if she talked about his shortcomings with the deficit.

Inflation was caused by over injections during Covid especially Quantitive Easing. Recovery was messy but happened then rates needed to hike up as Inflation was running away. Economy starting to cool and inflation less serious so right time to cut rates to re stimulate the economy. Still no real competition globally to the Dollar though the Yuan in some areas like Africa is getting stronger.

The real basis is the financial crisis of 2008/09.
Shortly afterwards, interest rates fell to zero worldwide - simply so that the financial crisis could be paid for with taxpayers' money.
That was almost done - an interest rate increase was on the table 2019 - then Covid came along... :))
The low interest rate phase meant that the stock markets were playing casino games like never before.
The hype surrounding AI is further exacerbating the situation on the stock market.

If you also look at historic Stock Market reaction to each cut, it tanks within 3 months of first cuts. To the market it's an indication that the economy is in trouble and must be propped up.
