I agree that many people are considering NVDA as the "Stock of the year." However, I'm curious about which stocks could potentially become the next META in terms of growth over the next decade. I've allocated $200k for investment, looking for companies to make additions to boost performance
Buying a stock is easy, but buying the right stock without a time-tested strategy is incredibly hard. hence I will suggest you get yourself a financial-Advisor that can provide you with entry and exit points on best stocks to buy now or put on a watchlist
True. Having the right financial planner is invaluable. My portfolio is well-matched for every season of the market and recently hit 90% rise from early last year. I and my CFP are working on a 7 figure ballpark goal, though this could take till Q3 2024.
My CFA Lucinda Margaret Crist a renowned figure in her line of work. I recommend researching her credentials further... She has many years of experience and is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the financial market
AI stocks will dominate 2025. Why I prefer NVIDIA is that they are better placed to maintain long term growth potential, and provide a platform for other AI companies. I know someone who has made more than 200% from NVIDIA. I'll also take these other recommendations you made.
I agree, just because the market presents opportunities doesn't mean we should rush in headfirst. For this reason, we should look for appropriate market analysis or guidance or, alternatively, seek advice from certified market strategists.
Agreed! this is why I work with one. My $520k portfolio is well-matched for every market season yielding 85% rise from early last year to date. I and my advisor are working on more figures for this year. IMO, financial advisors are the most sought-after professionals after doctors.
With around £120k invested in tech/TSLA stocks, any suggestions for additional stocks to diversify across various markets? Looking for a well-rounded portfolio that balances risk aversion with returns meeting yearly inflation concerns.
Prioritize two goals: strategically sell stocks to limit losses and maximize gains, and be prepared to capitalize on market shifts. Consult a financial advisor or professional for personalized guidance.
Certainly, I've been consulting with a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) since the outbreak. Beginning with an initial fund of $80k, my advisor makes decisions on when to enter and exit positions in my portfolio, which has now expanded to around $350k.

An exorbitant amount of water to cool them? The cooling systems are closed loop. It’s not like they’re drawing water and dumping it. It’s all about fear when it comes to CNBS.
Clean water is a big problem. Every MEGA Factory was dropped into industrial areas that was short water before TESLA arrived and that's all over the world.
My career has been in air conditioning (including industrial cooling) and energy efficiency. When they talk about water used in data centres, they are talking about water evaporated in cooling towers. A small percentage of the circulating water flow evaporates to enhance the cooling effect. Not all data centres however use open tower systems. Modern data centres run quite warm cooling water (around 18 degrees centigrade), and use air cooled systems that don’t waste any water.

I have had a ride in the driverless taxis that are being compared to FSD. The Waymo is just a electric trolley. It goes on a fixed path around the city. if you want to go somewhere on the path, then you can maybe get there as long as nothing unusual is blocking you. If it gets stuck, you have to call a human who is monitoring the Waymo, and they will take over. Cruise is limited to limited freeways that have been pre mapped. Also there has to be another car in front of you to follow. It is useful if you are going on the pre-mapped route. It is limited by speed and darkness as well. Mostly useless. Supervised FSD will take you anywhere, no pre-mapping or forced trolley routes. In return you must still be ready to take control if you think you should. I have taken FSD trips of over 1000 miles with most of the miles under FSD control. I can't do that with Waymo or Cruise or any of the others. CNBC almost always leaves all of this out of their stories. I wonder why? If you don't believe me, then try it for yourself.
I have tried it. FSD cut off a semi truck, coasted in the fast lane while not passing traffic, and even took a wrong exit on the highway. It was at the point where my attentiveness felt like I was a parent teaching their kid how to drive: I might as well have been driving the car. What you listed as weaknesses for Cruise and Waymo are their strengths and why they have level 4 and 5 self driving capabilities and Tesla is stuck at Level 2.
@@biomaniac22 when OP says waymo and cruise are electric trolleys on fixed paths, he must be referring to the fact that they stay in the lanes and follow traffic rules. To him it seems Tesla's ability to ignore lanes and disregard traffic rules like a human is a feature and not a bug 😂

@@Sanddollar1 But not safely yet. This video was not about Geofencing or autonomous driving per se - it was about Musk's investments in AI and the applications that could come of it.
They repeatedly jumped between FSD and Autopilot and very different years interchangeably. They effectively conflated 2017+ autopilot with 2024 FSD even though the softwares are completely different. That alone is a huge problem all throughout this video. Additionally, they re-reported the false reporting that Elon improperly diverted Nvidia H100s to xAI. The Austin data center literally wasn’t built yet (drone video shows this) so they’re lying to people (or just grossly ignorant) when they pretend what Elon said isn’t true. The same number of H100s were diverted from xAI to Tesla when the Austin data center was built a few months later. They effectively swapped delivery dates. Another point is pretending that Waymo is “ahead” because they offer autonomous services in a few select cities. Anyone with a basic understanding of this technology would know that tesla could geofence their software to a particular city and focus training on that if they wanted to launch something sooner. However that’s not a good approach since they are getting close to a generalized solution which Waymo has no credible path to reach (unless they high definition map every inch of road in the world). These are just a few of the issues in this video.

@@Hans-gb4mv Sure, there's the part where they said the gpus sent to XAI instead of Tesla caused Tesla to delay anything. It did not. Tesla is not behind in autonomy, they are ahead. Waymo and the others are restricted to tightly controlled areas with special mapping and remote supervising operators. FSD can go anywhere and is more capable. Proof of this is already documented as Waymo was unable to follow a Tesla on FSD without 44 interventions whereas Tesla ran flawlessly.
Waymo was unable to follow Tesla on FSD sounds like a lie, why would waymo follow Tesla when they use their own mapping avoid the most difficult places. Sound you are a paid bot
Tesla FSD cannot legally drive a car/truck on a road without a human driver. (Level 2 autonomy) Waymo cars routinely drive on regular roads without any person in the car. That is full autonomy in a geo fenced area, (Level 4).
@@bb1111116 You are referring to an operation permit level not a technical one. Technically Waymo can't leave the farm without risk of running off the road. Technically Tesla can go anywhere and has. China has already confirmed Elon's statement that LIDAR is a fool's errand and is deleting LIDAR from their autonomous vehicles.
You are acting like waymo don’t have camera. Waymo has camera and lidar, Tesla only have camera. At the very least waymo can do what Tesla is trying to do with only camera. Lidar just make it safer and give the model more certainty of what is in the area and what is not.

Really the argument is basically foolproof: We humans have a neuralnet and two cameras on a gimbal and we can drive fairly safely. Therefore it is possible.
That's not saying much, because the cars still don't perform as they should. Being the leader isn't enough; the car has to perform reliably and safely in all kinds of scenarios, over and over again, and Tesla's not there yet. A competent autonomous design would use more than just the optical band. For example, taking input from both optical cameras and a passive infra-red camera would prevent the kinds of crashes we have seen with Tesla vehicles in many situations. Now, infrared is not perfect. We have a Night Vision system on our car, and its performance is degraded in heavy rain and snow. But having a computer check inputs from one part of the EM spectrum against another reduces the chances of misinterpretation. (This happens in fighter jets too. For example, Navy pilots flying the F-14D Super Tomcat used its Infrared Spot and Track system to reacquire targets that managed to break the lockon of the APG-71's Doppler mode, enabling them to reacquire the target with the radar) Until I see that kind of improvement, I'm sticking with cars whose technology is there to help the driver drive the car. Those cars do have some useful autonomous feature - for example, you get out of the car, close the door, hit a button and the car parks itself. Later, you come back, hit a button, and the car pulls out of the parking spot and pulls up next to you. Or the car automatically reverses out of a parking garage with a twisty, windy path that it recorded when you pulled into the parking spot. Those autonomous functions happen at slow speed; they are NHTSA certified, and the worst that can happen, generally is a minor fender-bender. I can trust that. Will Tesla (and others) get to a place where we can trust it? At some point in the future.

Why? Just curious, but can you name one thing he ever delivered on? He overpromises stuff "next year" to pump the stock, then shifts the same promise back a year. Rinse and repeat. He just never delivers on anything. Self driving cars, across the entire country / world, with no human intervention, safer than humans driving, were promised "next year" since 2016.
What you listed as weaknesses for Cruise and Waymo are their strengths and why they have level 4 and 5 self driving capabilities and Tesla is stuck at Level 2.
and you watch CNBC, because?
@@biomaniac22 when OP says waymo and cruise are electric trolleys on fixed paths, he must be referring to the fact that they stay in the lanes and follow traffic rules. To him it seems Tesla's ability to ignore lanes and disregard traffic rules like a human is a feature and not a bug 😂

Amazing that this kind of reporting goes unchallenged.
10 /90... truth / BS
Go ahead, challange it. It's easy to say something is bad without giving a single example.
Which 90% parts of the video were BS?
Do you believe the reporting about Elon Musk’s AI ventures is inaccurate or biased? Do you believe there’s more to the story that hasn’t been adequately covered? Please enlighten us.
@@Hans-gb4mv Sure, there's the part where they said the gpus sent to XAI instead of Tesla caused Tesla to delay anything. It did not.

Everyone needs a Margin of Safety in their portfolios and just remember, It's time in the market versus timing the market.
De-risk your portfolios, shore up your core holdings, and take some profits while balancing your portfolio allocations. I’d also suggest you go with a managed portfolio, but even those don’t perform so well, so it’s best you reach out to a proper fiduciary to guide you, that’s what works for my spouse and I. We've made over 80% capital growth minus dividends.
I've heard similar things about hiring an advisor. It's hard to choose one that's very good though. Could you make some useful recommendations?
I've stuck with the popularly ‘’Monica Shawn Marti” for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, I agree with her.
I really appreciate your useful advice. I was able to set up a call with her and confirm her identity. She seems incredibly knowledgeable, and I hope I'm able to connect with her.
Getting someone who doesn’t know what they’re talking about then trying to act like they know what Tesla is thinking don’t make any sense

There are some hugely ignorant sections in this piece. Tesla is by far the leader in non-Geo fence self driving.

Don’t bet against Elon . . . Not a good idea! 😂
Fast forward to 2024, even the summon feature, which basically is the car driving itself, has been disabled. And the last state was that it had troubles reliably being summoned across one parking lot.. let alone actually going across streets. This is about as much of a cliff between promise and reality as is gets, and somehow people still buy his bullcrap lmfao.
Critics that say Tesla is just a car company are woefully uninformed. When you look at who's ahead regarding self-driving cars you have to compare apples to apples. Waymo drives in highly structured environments. Mercedes has level two but only on highways. The only company creating a self-driving car that can drive anywhere is Tesla.
What's more, Tesla's approach using cameras and AI is precisely the way humans Drive. The same people down on Tesla are decrying the dangers of AI domination. It's absurd to suggest that an AI smarter than a human won't be able to drive a car with eight cameras. Given that fact, It's only a matter of WHEN Tesla's FSD will happen not if.
FSD an incredibly difficult problem to solve and the fact Elon Musk is overly optimistic about when it will arrive is understandable. We should not give any oxygen to those on the sidelines criticizing those in the arena pushing Humanity forward.
Tesla not having LIDAR is the biggest mistake they made.
So their biggest mistake was supposedly not creating a car that costs $250,000 like waymo? 😂
Because betting on sending human to Mars has evaporated along with billion dollars of investors money.

While this reporting is not apparently biased, I found it confusing, and lacking of any solid theme.
As you have implied, Elon is betting the bank on Supercomputing, but - as he has done before - flip at any time if/when it seems necessary.
Elon's companies are often publicly traded stock. You need to recognize that Musk does not give any thought to shareholders when making decisions. If you invest in any of his companies, you are along for the ride, and if you do not like the roller-coaster, GET OFF.
This is as it should be in my view. Musk plays the long game. So if you are looking for quick profits, stay away from Musk.
In saying that, Tesla in particular has just today showcased three ground-breaking products. All three promise trillions of annual revenue in the next 1-4 years if they deliver.

The fact they didn't mention elon is the REASON Nvidia stock price is so high
In 2015 Elon asked them to make a chip for openAI called the A100
There's a photo of it. The whole reason this AI trend was that catalyst
You have to mention this because if Tesla is wrong then surely every AI company is a waste of time
Check your facts man. A100 didn't come out until 2020. V100 came out in 2017. And large language models that rely on these chips weren't close to a thing in 2015 since the core technology of LLMs, transformers, weren't published until 2017 nor were they utilitized auto regressively until 2018.

This is just natural evolution of a tech founder. They seek the new explosive thing. AI is new and maybe the final thing one will invest in in such a huge amuont. The money pouring into AI exeeds anything investment in the history of mankind. Billions of dollars from every single company from hardware to software to energy sources to latest and fastest chips. It is incentive for them because AI which they strive to create will itself be the new scientist, engineer, CEO, manager of the company itself.
Generative AI is a dead end. It has no future. It's just wasting money and jumping on the hottest thing.

Whether Elon makes this or not is irrelevant. I prefer him focusing on this type of project than giving his clueless opinion on politics.
But that's *all* he does? It's not like he is actually working on any of the projects he is the face of. He just hypes topics up, pumps stocks, uses that money to buy himself into some industry, pays the original engineers to continue what they were doing, then created more outrageous claims and promises you everything it takes for hype.. to never deliver.
Because Tesla is not and will never be a car company, yes it produces cars but someday, all cars around the world could use Tesla's self driving features and the only way to perfect is to collect data with the current Tesla cars and make the software smarter every day until it's perfect.
Tesla could become the Nvidia of self driving technology, that would not only solve Tesla's self driving but also every other car company's car for a fee.
