Right? There's no relationship building anymore. Think about when Sheila first came on the show and how it took months for her antagonism with Stephanie to simmer and boil over. And at first she would address Stephanie in a more guarded and respectful way - it took time for her to become more familiar and start calling her a jealous old h a g. 😂

To be honest, I'm glad to be able to watch the old episodes again. I stopped watching B&B a year ago because I gave up hope that the stories would get better and not keep repeating themselves. Now I realize that there were terrible stories back then too and I have no idea why it didn't bother me back then.

The scene of Rick finding out about Brooke and Deacon’s affair/Hope’s paternity is so disappointing. They race through the conversation and the dialogue is all plot exposition. There is no suspense and Rick just says “Dammit, Mom!” before they move on. If only the characters and scenes were written better during this era of B&B. 1987-1998 was good.

No its not a future episode the episodes are correct. Why wouldn't Bridget get a long with Taylors kids she is a kid her self. The age gap is very small. She has part if the blame with Deacon but what does she have to do with little eric and stephanie being pregnant by Massimo and stephanie keeping it hidden for a year. Not to mention Massimo's evil plan to get ridge and bridget together because he doesn't want Ridge with Brooke and why doesn't he want him with Brooke because of all the hate stephanie has loaded on him about Brooke.
