Rick must not never have had a flat tire. They didn't see that Deacon was dirty from changing a tire? At least he knows how, would Rick? Of course Brooke would be excited about Nick, he is all new and shiny sort to speak. Eric, Ridge, and Thorne are old news.
_Finally_ Deacon calls a lawyer - but this only happens after he has been told he won't be allowed to see Little Eric again. It's not Deacon and Macy trying to take the kids away from their homes, it's Deacon who has had his kids taken away from him and he has no choice but to seek legaI advice to get to be in their lives _at all._ (Besides, it was Rick who first got a lawyer involved, when he sent Jonathan over to Deacon to explain why he wouldn't be seeing Little Eric.) Remember what Amber said just the other day, that the best way to solve the situation was to just give Deacon visitation - this proves her right. It's Deacon (unfairly) being denied visitation by Rick that causes the situation to escaIate.
That's exactly how it is. But Logan fans, of course, claim the opposite. Deacon wasn't interested in the children and Macy just wanted revenge on Brooke. It's always very important to put Brooke at the center of everything.
@@Html962 so you agree with me that Rick made a mistake taking Little Eric away from CJ and the Spectras? Well, luckily the boy is about to become a Spectra again, rectifying Rick's mistake.

Oh, so now Deacon has a fIat tire, is 30 minutes late to return with Little Eric, and as a result he is never allowed to see his own son again? Rick and Amber stick with the same state of mind even after they know he was late because of a flat tire, this is so stupid and annoying, what did they want him to do?? How can he not be late?
I know - this is a thing that can happen literally to anyone. It has nothing to do with being a responsible parent. Anyone can forget their phone and have a fIat tire. If anything, they should be happy that he took care of the situation like a capable aduIt. He managed to change the tire and get Eric back home only 30 minutes late. Would Rick and Amber have been able to do the same?
The Deacon storyline with his kids is an interesting choice. Brooke, who has arguably become the heroine of the show (save Stephanie) is portrayed as unreasonable. Her son and Amber just completely overreacted to a situation they could happen to us all. Do the writers want us to root for Deacon? If so, they are doing a great job of it! Team Deacon!
The way the storyline is being written now, I don't see how the writers could intend for us to root for anyone but Deacon. He is clearly in the right. He is the father, and Brooke and Rick are keeping him away from his own kids for no reason.
IMO Brooke always fails the romantic moments with her partners. I can't see her as a romantic one because she has always been so delusional in her relationships. It’s crazy. This is only a little over 20 years ago how much technology has changed. He’s got a phone book at his hands saying he’s gonna call an attorney. They don’t even use phone books anymore. They have Google.
The nice thing about Brooke and Nick staring into each other's eyes is they can both come to terms with old age.
Way to go, Deacon, standing up to Rick! Show Little Eric you're the better daddy.
Nick looks old too, honestly even older than Brooke. Both actors look ten years older than their actual age.
