I gotta get back to boxing man, Im mostly a grappler but it's an absolutely great and unique sport and martial art. Nothing compares to the feeling of dodging a punch and launching the perfectly timed counter.
exactly they both feel good in different ways.
Way better feeling than rubbing crutches. Get off the mat

Grappling is my main girl but you gotta box soetimes you know?
I´m a kickboxing beginner and I made most of the mistakes that you covered in your video. I´ve been watching a lot of your videos in the past months and they are helping me getting better in my boxing. I don´t leave often comments under your video but I just what to thank you for your commitment and the detailed videos.
Thank you, I really appreciate it and it's great to hear!
I am not a beginner anymore, but I still learn from your vids. Thank you sir 🥊
Boxing Things same

@DisgruntledCommenter lol
I teach my students EPOC sequencing-- Entry, Pressure, Objective, Clear. Helps them remember
I’m new to boxing and love it. I put on my first pair of gloves about 2 months ago. I have not sparred nor really want to right now but we are practicing a little with a jab at my head and me turning my shoulders to avoid the jab and then coming across with a right cross, left hook and or uppercut.
My point is as a beginner I didn’t have any idea what a punch coming at me felt like or what I should do. So many things are not fundamental “boxing” instinct when avoiding punches. The flinching, ducking, blinking and swaying back are what comes natural to me. Staying there and countering was the last thing I thought/wanted to do.
Like I said I’m new to a structured way of training on fundamentals and that kind of info is what makes me realize more and more of the bigger picture and art of boxing.
It’s still overwhelming at times!
Nice video👍🏼
Bro Im right with you. I just started a few months ago too. And bro I've been in street fights in my life, but the autonatic instinct is to dodge and jump out the way. But just slipping and attempting to counter is such a change from what ur instincts tells you to do. I love boxing as well bro
joshrey789 good luck with the training...no doubt it’s much different than a street fight! Since my post we have started on the double end bag and it has become a favorite way to train....it was difficult at first but a great way to time punches and combos. It will even hit you back if you mess up! Hahahaha I can see where sparring is needed for me to get better and I’m looking forward to that now. We have some good men in our group and that’s important to learn without being unnecessarily beat up because of someone’s ego.
Wish you the best my man....it’s a going to be a great journey!

This guy is awesome!!
Thank you I just started boxing a month ago already in love with it great tips. Subbed
All super great advice. There is so many ways to read beginners and quickly, and easily take advantage of them. Which you are teaching them here. Also, great you mentioned you had other videos on other beginner mistakes and things to know. I am sure we could spend all day, from sun up to down. And, when it all is,over, you could still spend days going over still more aspects a beginner does. Wven then, with them knowing a out these aspect, it can be a bear to break a d untrained the bad and retraining the good habits.
This man is a genius he understands common problems and provide solutions that really works
Thanks JT
This video is really useful I’ve only started boxing a few months ago and this really helped me so thanks.

I wish I knew this years ago. I made all those mistakes in the beginning. Great advice!
Thanks coach
Excellent!
That tip in relation to relaxing your neck has really improved my boxing and my life away from it I used to suffer a lot from tension headaches and was mostly due to not being relaxed when firing off my punches specially onto a heavy bag so much thanks for that
Thanks 🥊🥊
Thanks. I am a total beginner (2 months boxing so far) and this is super helpful.
How's your progress?
Love your channel🥊🥊🥊🥊🥊
Tons of great info.
It's freaking free coaching!
Golden Gloves is coming to big bro
Been watching you since I started my boxing journey
Been training a solid year now..
Thanks for your videos. They're reassurance.
My Professor is Greg Pritchett of MVJ Athletics Training Center.
Competing in DC this month. Man, I'm nervous. But excited. Your videos help keep me calm. Thanks bro!
Godspeed.
Noble Rayvon Grayson, Jr how it go
Man. I’m four weeks out from my first fight and this is invaluable.
Started getting my sparring recorded, and study my style, I’m making a few of these mistakes, so great to rectify!
Awesome man, thank you so much.
Good luck mate ... Where are you fighting ?
Great video. Bug props from Germany..
Really well done!!🥊
I got to get back to leg conditioning. I have a bad back, and whenever I work without leg training, I end up aggravating it, because I'm using more of my upper body and core to move. This vid was great. This is one of those ones you bookmark, and come back to. Breathing, staying loose, and maintaining eye discipline/awareness are big ones for me to remember.
Great info thanks
Thanks,good stuff.
JT. I love the way you teach. Yes, for me the hardest and best lessons were breathing and relaxing while training and boxing.. And the most basic is.....if you drop those hands....I hope you have a good medical plan because you are out.
This was most helpful thank you for uploading! I am not an absolute beginner but I am probably in the lower third for sure.
You are the best man ive been watching your videos since forever ago. You are so consistent and give out great information. I find myself always coming back to this channel when ive been on a long lay off lol. Im going to start training next week, do you have like a training program somewhere? Keep doing your thing💪🏾👊🏾
Thx for your support, there are 16 training plan variations in here - www.precisionstriking.com/product/complete-boxing-training-plans/
Will have to watch that again.
Thanks for this vid
This should be the boxing commandments. #Best Advice yet 🥇🥊🥊
I’ve recently started just messing around with a heavy bag.......let face facts I’m 46 this is strictly for fitness but I stumbled across your channel and I’ve been putting some of your advice into practice now I’m working on foot work and drills, shadow boxing instead of just working the bag
great tips man. really great stuff.
I'm self taught, and this video is pretty helpful. My stupid schedule conflicts with any martial arts I want to do so I'm forced to learn through videos at home.
new subsciber! great info and presentation keep up the good work man
Nice videos you releasing. I am not a boxer but think i can defend myself. I am building confidence that i am good enough to defend as well as attack if condition comes
Hi Jt, thanks for the tips! Always helpfuls... Gotta focus more before Training and practice some mitakes still make! By the way love your New presentation for the channel and the background!

Congrats on working with USG JT, that’s really cool.
Thanks bc it's helpful for my self defence.
I've always wanted to box. Wish I could train with you, but am going to hopefully find someone in my location. I am 34 and out of shape, so should be interesting. But I love your videos. Thank you for sharing these.
Thank you sir
Thx bro🥊😶
I love your videos and they have helped me a lot in improving my boxing. If you have the time I would like you to make a video about elbow problems in boxing. I cannot box at the moment because I have golfers elbow and I would like to know if you have any good tips in how to prevent it from occuring again or how to recover from it.
Thank you master
Still can't believe all of these incredible advices and teachings are given for free.
🙏 many thanks for sharing sir
Thanks for your 🌹🌹
This is an amazing channel. I’m just starting boxing again in my 30s. Major help ✊🏾

Awesome video
Thank you coach! brick by brick Im becoming a more sound boxer. Went from being one of the guys that drops his hands on the heavy bag and later rounds in sparring. Now Im one of the best in the gym keeping my hands up and chin down!
Great Vid. I use these videos to show my daughter techniques. Keep up the great work
cool, thx!
Can't wait for the next combo of the week!
coming soon, thx!
Nice work brother i liked and shared
great tips man I wish I watched this before I started, it took me a year to realize those tips
Love mistake #2 not being aware about letting the air OUT ,as too many people are focused on ,,generally breathing" but the bit that matter at most is exhalation as inhalaction will happen automatically. Brilliant job as always👌
Solid tips for the beginners
thank you Mike
