Cool video Keith....thank you mate, nice view of the estuary Keith, as you said the light was a pain....A good area though.... See you soon Colin..
Thanks Colin, would be good for a drone shot
No epic b-roll of the change of clothes for warmth?! 😂 i think you did decent despite the flat light, so great job on that. That looked like a struggle. We share the same thoughts about upgrading, there is a right equipment for the job. It doesn’t need to be the best, but if you’ve squeezed out all the technical features and still not getting the shot you want, then upgrade.
Ahh no epic B-roll this time, it was too cold lol, exactly, although I probably didn't convey that message as well lol
Great video this week Keith - Shame that you had to struggle with the lack of light... Joys of being in Landscape Photography, where the forecasts mock us
Hi Neil, yes it has been terrible lately, we are always looking for that perfect light that never seems to happen lol
Great video Keith. Very interesting chat & agree with you regarding individual needs as to what suits. The other thing that makes no sense whatsoever to me is why a percentage of people spend big money on camera & lenses when the editing style doesn’t match so to speak. A neutral, viewing the image from that set up, & say a cheap mobile phone, & you can’t tell any difference in the final image due to the editing style just makes no sense & is a waste of money unless it’s just to look the part of course. A view shared by many a photographer in conversation, but each to their own I suppose. Lovely images as usual Keith & look forward to the next video.👌👍
Hi Mark, thanks for the comment, I guess it's like buying a Ferrari and not having a driving licence, it looks the part but no idea how to use it lol
Very true mate 😀👍@@keithguppy
Hi Keith hope you're well. Totally agree with your thoughts on this the best camera "is the one you have with you" is a fairly obvious statement 'cos if you didn't have a camera you couldn't take a photo 😂. As you say it depends on your needs and also if you intend to take up photography as a hobby and as your interest grows you then buy equipment that suits your needs. Technology moves so fast these days that I think the best camera is now the one that your saving for 😂. I think the only problem with chasing the latest and greatest camera is that you get the mind set that you current camera is no longer any good. Great set of images considering the dull conditions.
Best wishes stay safe Jon and Karen
Hi Jon, Hope you are both well, I think you may be right with the best camera is the one you are saving for, it's definitely true for me lol
