I would argue that the autumn fight theme being remastered in DST makes sense in more ways than just "the original was missing something to make it pop." I remember seeing a comment on an OST video that mentioned how the solo autumn theme is more "empty" with less instruments, as if it reflects you being alone in a hectic scenario. Compared to the DST version where it's designed for you to be *together* with another player, so the song has more instruments to reflect it. That idea makes even more sense when you consider how all the characters have instruments as voices. Wilson is some kind of trumpet, Willow is a flute, Wickerbottom is an oboe, Wolfgang is a tuba, and Wes... You get the idea. I could just be biased though, considering autumn is the starting season so of course you will associate fights with that theme.
I disagree with almost all last places, however the top 5 is absolutely true for me. Ruins theme is frkn epic, because in my playthrough i'm trying to be stealthy in the ruins, and when something agroes, it feels like the whole country is about to kill you, which is perfectly showed with this music. + It gives me clockwork vibes.
I absolutely love the use of the Harpsichord in hamlet's ost. You hear it the most in Temperate fight theme at the beginning. That weird piano-like sound.
All of the last places are bangers for me but I understand everything is subjective and you needed to rank them so something would still be at the last place. Not the ruins theme though! :) It's so goofy and that's what I love it for
Ruins combat and autumn 1 are one of my favourite themes in the game, and I don't really like werewilba and weremoose. That said, I can't wait to watch your boss theme video. (If you rank celestial champion's theme low I'll find your house and steal one half of all your socks)
Honestly I like the ruins theme and sure for a fighting theme its way to goofy but,think about the ruins...its a place where sanity is hard to manage and there are threats everywhere and your constantly overwhelmed with clockworks,monkeys,and shadows so logically if your on low health and being chased by those things the only thing that make your anxiety skyrocket is a loud,noisy,and messy theme with trumpet blaring mixed with menacing undertones
I have really strange relationship with Autumn 1.0 fighting theme. I do not enjoy it, but those drops perfectly catch this... miserableness of the situation characters found themselves in. But nevertheless I'm happy they changed it in together since it's not so depressing to hear

Not only pirate raid is repetitive but also can drive you insane if you happen to go monkey mode during the track playing because it may bug out and go on forever till the game restart
