Today is a fight between the mid-range Galaxy A55 versus the top of the line Galaxy S24 Ultra, there's a big gap between the price of these two Samsunh phones, but is there a big difference in terms of camera performance?
We are shooting both indoors and outdoors. This is a week-long shoot for me. I was able to capture different weathers outside and also different places from the mall, houses and parks! We are shooting nature, indoors and random colorful things, we're also utilizing all sensors from the ultra wide main to the telephoto zoom, The triple camera setup of Galaxy A55 versus the quad camera system of Galaxy S24 Uttra.

I think the a55 is better I think it has a little better contrast the s24 ultra just the zoom is good I don't know if some places are the same as it is not worth the price difference as it does all kinds of work as a camera A55

I'm surprised by the performance of the A55 in low light environments, it managed to be very similar to the S24
There's actually the Exposure/Noise test I had, that's low light without Night Shot and A55 wins that category. I thought that was cool!
The A55 is very good for average users that don't care about bragging rights like having a titanium phone or high benchmark scores.. its just a phone that works well for most tasks that don't include triple A gaming.

A55 did amazing . I honestly thought s24u would've killed it considering its more than 3 times the price but it was performing just as good and better in some situations . Thats not to say s24u didn't do better in some and overall is one of the best but considering a55 lacks the hardware like the telephoto lenses and 200 mp cameras , it did great with what it had . If a55 had a telephoto lens , the results probably even more similar
I agree with you! I think the consiatency of S24U in portrait is something to be admired. A55 is just a pain sometimes, need to be around 3-5 feet or else no bokeh. and zoom too, I think S24U nailed it. Stabilization in video, all the prwmium stuff. ❤️

I have both phones and many times the A55 takes a better picture both day and night than the S24 ultra with the main camera and the selfie camera!

Oh, I also thought too. The portrait zoom test, I did give S24 Ultra a fovor by "cleaning the lens and reshooting" the shots and it came up the same. Something about the "natural look", I think. You got better contrast on A55, I feel this affects the "softness" of the photos. This was actually biased in favor of S24 Ultra. I will show the lenses next time for peace of mind.

The S24 ultra is more expensive because of the materials like titanium, anti-glare screen, a more powerful chipset, camera zoom, the s-pen, and longer software support... its not expensive because of the cameras and this test proves it. pls use your brain, He's comparing pictures not the whole phone
