Thank you for posting this. I worked for Amtrak in OBS out of DC in that era, and later in T&E for CSX out of Baltimore after the Conrail split, so I'm very familiar with this area, having been a conductor and engineer on the RF&P sub. The most striking thing to me about this video is what you don't see - massive amounts of graffiti on just about every car, even older, weathered cars. And you only have to go back 30 years to not see this insidious virus.
A couple of comments on Quantico. I might be wrong, but the body of water where the long, single-track bridge you were taping at is not Quantico Creek, but Possum Run. Quantico Creek is at the south end of the base, not accessible to civilian railfans. Also, replacing the original double-track bridge with the single track bridge there in the late 1980's to save money turned out to be one of the most bone-headed moves made by any railroad in the last 50 years. It created a major bottleneck for the next 15 years, until they built the additional double-track bridge beside it around 2007. I spent a lot of time as a CSX crew member waiting to cross that bridge, especially at commuter and Amtrak times.

I was stationed at Quantico for 5 years as an MP. The bridge crosses Quantico Creek. The other creek on the south side you are referring to is Chopawamsic Creek.

I'll take two-dome Auto Train over a Superliner Auto Train any day!

@bitrexgm I worked Onboard AutoTrain (Onboard Services) October 95-May 1997 when I started, they were starting to replace the heritage with Superliner Equipment. The coach section still had the heritage equipment with the Dome Car along with the Buffet Car. They had more of a selection when they had the buffet equipment.
