I dont care too much for the WfM kits currently but I absolutely love bandai's choice for the box art for the series! This was a decent build though, from the looks of it. Kinda just waiting to see the announcement of a MG or hell potential RG eventually
There is a FM 1/100 Aerial coming out on April 22 this year. It looks nice, so you may want to grab that because it’ll probably be a long while before they make a main-line MG for any WFM suits.
@Sam S oh I'm already assuming it'll be in the realm of when the MG Barbatos came out. So, more than likely, a couple of years from now. I guess the only good thing it has going for it is WfM will probably still be airing by the time we get an announcement for it, seeing as the series adopted the 12 episode season format. Although I will say that when it came to IBO, their FM line was out much sooner and with more suits. I don't know why we are just now getting an FM for WfM, but hopefully, they will announce other suits. Im guessing at the end of the upcoming season
This is one of the few WFM kits that i want, love the bug aesthetic, and i've seen a lot of good customs using this suit, can't wait to be able to grab one
I like how there are these small notches just right all over the body to fill in with a little UV green so they look like lights under UV lights. The "vents" on the front skirt, back skirt, thighs, weapons are not deep enough however for red UV paint to adhere properly to make a "thruster" effect though
With those Shackle Claws I want to do a small diorama, with Darilbalde pouncing feet first into a target, with the Javelin stabbing too for extra destruction.
about the legs, i think it needs an ankle guard. it wanted to go for a pointy downwards triangle silhouette for the legs but the rounded thighs and calves prevents it
I love this design and the kit is mostly pretty great, but the abs ball joint connection to the chest is super loose. I haven't seen this issue in any other reviews so I assume I might've just gotten unlucky. Also the c-clip legs really suck, mine kept popping off while I was posing it.
@@Peasham polycaps deterioate after years & getting loose But plastic to plastic share similar issue, so yeah C-Clip is just bad in general because it make joints difficult to fix & less compatible to mix & match, really wonder why they make it like that when male to female swing joint is simpler, stronger & easier to do
@@somechinesedude5466 Yeah exactly, I'd get the problem if plastic on plastic at least lasted more than polycaps, but from my understanding and experience plastic on plastic deteriorates faster. Plus, handling gunpla just feels better with polycaps. It feels more like people are just listening to reviewers who hate polycaps as opposed to forming their own opinions. And yeah, exactly. The Ultraman Taro figure-rise has a similar clip problem, the legs have two joints but if you actually use both the entire lower leg falls off. I'd get it if they put clips on entry grades or the Demi-Trainer or similar kits that are supposed to be simple, but they don't and it's weird lol.
MY HWFM KIT RANK ( I own 6)..in terms of design, playability and building experience 1. michaelis 2. aerial 3. darilbalde 4. lfrith 5. pharact 6. chuchu demi trainer
a drop of low-temp hot glue on a stick, wait for it to almost harden and cool, stick to the plastic and pull out. to remove plastic from the glue/stick use a drop of isopropyl alcohol, it will release the bond instantly and leave no residue
Ippei Gyobu has a peculiar fascination with disproportionate and abstract feet on his mecha. Far too many of his designs, like the Varguil/Moon Gundam suffer from this.
moon/varguil still looks fine as most of the leg is angular and blocky so they dont look too out of place. while the darilbalde has fat rounded thighs and calves with tiny flat feet
I hope they repair this suit in the show or something. It's just not right to have such an awesome design instantly destroyed on debut! Guel needs a win BAD.
I do like the whole beetle theme the Jeturk suits have with their prominent horn antennas

You should try them. They're some of the best HGs period.
@ScizorLord5 I have grown to like the Lfrith Thorn and Ur from the series. So maybe once their kits drop soon I'll check em out. Thanks!

Love the WFM kits, easy builds and super sturdy while looking very nice and a good utilization of stickers without being egregious like IBO kits.
All the box designs for the WfM are so clean.
This suit really fits in well with the G-Reco line
same designer as g-reco, ippei gyobu
I've really enjoyed the entire witch from mercury hg model line so far.
This is one of the few WFM kits that i want, love the bug aesthetic, and i've seen a lot of good customs using this suit, can't wait to be able to grab one
I love G-Witch and the MS designs in the show. This thing has really cool gimmicks.
this and the michaelis are the ones im really keen on from the wfM series.
great review!
Well, here from the newest episode, that beam hands are really cool in context now.
Jetturk suits from Beetroot Dilanza then Red Bell Pepper Darilbalde.
This has such a nice finish I don’t think it even needs a top coat

One of my favorite newer ones, Love the weapons that come with it and it just all around cool.
Thanks for the tip! For all the complaints about the included wires, I rarely hear about how those are normally dealt with.
You’re welcome! 👍

wow, this kit is my fav from mercury . red and cool unique form
That back skirt gives me slight Kimaris Trooper vibes.
even if its not a Char kit, im putting this in my Red Comet collection next to the grimgerde
I think this would be really cool to have next to Kampfer. Sorta like Scizor vs Heracross from pokemon haha
Zup zak, I like the bonus tip, keep them coming, thanks again for the video 😎👍🏼
really love this kit

I see this kit at my local hobby shop. It is quite big and look good..

Aerial, pharact and darilbalde is top wfm kits
I wish the local card/ hobby shop in my mall, didn't have the witch form Mercury kits over price, very sad
Wonder if the upcoming décals have input for the mecha designer in particular for designs by ippei gyoubu
I wonder if we'll get a Rebuild version from episode 17 of this kit, like the Aerial Rebuild.
Would love to customize this into a beetle theme
Is there a Master grade or a more complex version of this kit out?
The purple blades are somewhat random

Having to clip the lower legs on is certainly... a choice.
A bad one, if you ask me. Bandai should really stop being so afraid of polycaps lmao
I thought people hate polycaps?

My stand tip broke inside of the stand hole when i try to pull it out....
Easy to get it out, but you’ll have to buy a new stand probably. Take off the part and use a drill to push out the peg from the inside

Very cool kit but for me It looks like a more modern version of the astaroth origin without the shotgun

It is in the season 2 op.
Idk why but the silhouette of the suit looks like a female.
This is for the Gundam ads that keep jumping onto my computer. IF IT DOESN'T TRANSFORM, I AM NOT FUCKING INTERESTED IN IT.
😂
So you are probably a Zeta and ZZ fan then.
