To the people talking about revenge, One of the major themes of this game is how revenge is bad. By the end of the game dutch is a vengeful man, putting revenge over his own gang's safety, which eventually leads to it's demise. going for revenge is against everything arthur and the old dutch were about.

This, this is final stand music. Arthurs final stand as he saves his only true brother. Sure as hell they've been through a lot, and they've had their differences, but no matter what, thems 2 are brothers for life. And Arthur uses his own life to give John a chance for a whole new one.
Kind of like the American people. I hate white people sometimes but when shit hits the fan. Them and everyone else is my brother's and sisters. But no kkk or Nazis.

@@NorthPasture arthur was the lead enforcer and right hand man of hosea/dutch for a reason. Despite how physically weak he was at the end he was still easily the most dangerous member of the gang just alone to his gunslinging skills.

What was scary was by the end of the game when he returned to camp to confront Micah he was in a state when he should have been in his death bed yet kept fighting to save his brothers

@minjis.chaos. my dad had the game and I used to just run around shooting people, and my honor was zero. I found out how to do the story and picked it up from when you rescue Shaun. I kept going and by the end I finished with the low honor ending and I cried it was so deep. One of my favorite games, especially on low honor

I tell my friends they need to get the game because it’s the BEST story game I’ve ever played and they literally said “I’d rather play GTA story version” I don’t even know how to express how much I love RDR and how good of a game it is- I could go on and on for hours about how good it is

Fighting micah you have to resist the urge to hit Micah, you'll only drain Arthur's stamina. Instead. Gauge your distance, fight defensively, and only go for counter punches. You'll have 5 long blissful minutes of giving Micah a solid ass whooping

I rarely find myself enjoying remixes, but this one got me pretty good.

the intro was a banger, but it pretty much the same as the orginal. still love this .
It's cool how John's redemptive arc in the first game is similar to Arthur's but it is still really fresh and even more impactful when you experience it in 2.
Wth no. John's "Redemption," is redemption not to his character, but rather to the law and government, and well, society. Arthur's redemption is a redemption of his character, Arthur wanted to change and be a better man. John's true redemption was his death, as he died to protect his family, reinforcing the change he went to over the years due to wanting to protect his family.
A finale is worthless without an emotional, thrilling OST to accompany it.
Even after 4 years. Amazing work, man.. it's so good. This music always gets me either fired up or emotional

Ngl, it would have been really nice if john saved arthur, but bc arthur had tb and died I think it really suited the story well. Perhaps they could have escaped all together, and after a month arthur eventually succumbed to his tb.
We all would love that ending but sadly little to no one could survive TB back then x

I like how the endings differ, in that helping john, John thinks Micah and Dutch will go back for the money but they instead follow their path of escape, while in the money ending, they actually do go back (possibly because they see Arthur headed back that way)
