About this circuit:
One of the greatest tracks used in Formula One racing today, Japan's Suzuka circuit is a massive test of car and driver ability.
Built by Honda as a test facility in 1962, the track was designed by Dutchman John Hugenholz, the Hermann Tilke of his day. A huge theme park was also constructed at the track, including the famous big wheel which dominates the Suzuka skyline.
In 1987, having hosted various sportscar and F2 races, and having lost out initially to Fuji in the race to host the Japanese Grand Prix, Honda's influence finally prevailed and the Grand Prix had a new Japanese home. And - 2007/8 aside - at Suzuka the race has stayed ever since, providing the scene for many nail-biting end-of-season deciders, including the now infamous collisions involving Alain Prost and Ayrton Senna.
Such moments only added to Suzuka's appeal with fans, with the Grand Prix now attracting some of the most passionate and knowledgeable crowds in F1 racing.
The track has also become a favourite with drivers, featuring some of the F1 calendar's most challenging corners. Among the most popular are the high-speed 130R and the famous Spoon Curve. On top of this the circuit's figure-of-eight layout makes it unique in F1 racing.
I liked the scene on lap 22 when vettel attacks you and completly misses the corner and you just get the position great racing

Nice driving as always! But do you recommend to buy F1 2016? And is it much different from F1 2015?
Well I remember the first thing I noticed was how different the driving mechanics are from F1 2015. It's a lot easier to oversteer the car now when accelerating. You also can't go full throttle over the curbs and expect the car to remain stable anymore. I think that's awesome and adds to the realism. If that's your thing I definitely recommend F1 2016. Also having three different tyre compounds instead of just two in 2015 adds a whole new dimension to the race.
Have you tried the new Master difficulty ?
Not yet, they haven't patched it in yet on PS4.

I've never played this game or its predecessors but I think that you could've pushed it a little more on The Esses and some other places too. I've only played games like Asseto Corsa or Project Cars. No offence meant if I'm wrong. Great vid BTW.
Do you adjust your car settings before the race, or you just jump into the race and run? I`m sorry about my english.
I do always adjust the downforce levels, depending on the type of circuit. Also, I tend to run with a bit more rear wing downforce than front wing downforce to combat power oversteer.

Considering the amount of wear you had on the hard tires, do you think you could have just gone on those or MAYBE the mediums till the end?
So basically a one-stop strategy? I think that would've been very difficult. Starting on mediums and going to hard tires after that might work, but you're lapping slower than a two-stop strategy almost every single lap of the race that way.
I would not know how many stops you made since I skipped a bit, but instead of going to hard tires right at the end, you would have stuck to the mediums for the remainder of like 20~ laps. Either that, or you could have used those mediums for a couple more laps and switched to soft tires for an aggressive run towards the end.
How do you manage to conserve tires so well? Any assists?
Yeah it might have been better to use mediums in the last stint. I don't use any assists though, but I try to drive as smooth as possible to conserve the tires.
I like these videos but could you show us replays when someone retires or hits you?
Hey, your pretty awesome at such a difficult game i must say. Can you please tell me what kind of settings you used to make the car go round so fast, i cant get mine to handle or brake any where near as well as this
I'd say try playing around with the setup of the car. I find the cars to oversteer quite a bit, so lowering the downforce on the front wing does help me a lot.

What setup did you use for fastest times bud?
I usually use the increased downforce setup with less wing depending on the type of track. I have no idea if this is a setup for fast times. All I know is I can drive consistently like that, which does help a lot in these 100% races.
what was your AI Level? (I won't say you were bad, because your driving was great!)
This was Expert difficulty
Beatdown Racing nice man I use Expert too haha Legend is just a bit too hard haha, Expert is not the easiest too, so you did it well, and you didn't make much mistakes, but what are your driver assist settings?
I don't use any assists, except auto gearbox.

how do you like the driving physics on this one compared to 2015 ?
I like the 2016 physics a lot, mainly because of the increased realism compared to F1 2015. The cars oversteer more easily, which makes them feel like very powerful machines. It's also a lot harder to drive these 2016 cars on the limit because of that. Especially if your setup is off.

Artificial intelligence is poor, car following overtakes on first corner and goes off track at same place virtually every lap- annoying!
I agree, the AI are horrible on this track..

That gets more top speed out of the somewhat underpowered engine
