Dude this is awesome! Sounds just like John. Especially killed it on the Bold as Love solo! Do you have any advice for a novice guitar player? I'm trying to move beyond simple campfire open chords and just got myself an electric and am looking to play this sort of stuff. I have an understanding of CAGED as of recently, but I'm trying to figure out what resources are the most important for me to learn starting out.

How were you listening to that glorious tone while playing?
I was simply using the speakers from the laptop... my headphones were dead. It's not the best, but it worked ;)
I am using a basic software called reaper, because I use my headphones only. I am not able to get rid of the lagging signal while recording.

@@SinghJasjit I'm using Logic Pro, there's a "Low Latency" mode, it helps a lot! Maybe you can find something similar in Reaper?

How do you even use your laptop speakers I’m trying to use them on my MacBook and no luck
In Logic's Audio Preferences, set the "Output device" to "Built-In Output"... That's it!
Wow I didn’t know that a DAW could hold such sounds 😬 ur using the logic pedalboard?
I used Logic's "Amp Designer" (settings in the description)! In the pedalboard I used a bit of the Squash Comp, Blue Echo and the Vintage Drive for Bold as Love! It works pretty great ;)

Did you just switch your modeling setting in post? Or how where you switching tones for each song?
I had the Gain on the amp automated, depending on the song! Then I added the effects in post.

how did you get the belief backing?
I just sampled the drum back beat from the intro, made a loop with it, then I added the bass/guitar parts!
He makes everything look so easy. But it’s not at all
