Yup, he could have saved his mother but instead it was him who got his mother killed so his younger self would come to hate titans and Marley. He manipulated his own dad into gaining the founder and delivering it into his hands so he can start the rumbling.
My theory is that since Ymir creates all the titans in the paths, and Eren changed her mindset before he transformed. This change in mindset could have inspired her to create a titan so incredibly large that she couldn't finish it in time before Eren fully transformed, or maybe the design was so large that the "Thing" (the centipede god thing) didn't physically have enough energy to create all of it. I'd imagine she wanted Eren's founder to be this big to ensure he was powerful enough to destroy all her oppressors.
Here’s what it actually is. Eren wants to die. His form isn’t actually about power or even function. There is no actual reason why titans die when their heads are cut off. Ymir like with the lifespan of the shifters determined that to be the rule. Want proof? In the final season it was revealed shifters if practice can regenerate their head by simply moving their consciousness to the rest of their body. Also time is not an issue. All time has passed and all time has yet to happen in that realm. She literally could’ve took 5 million years creating the perfect titan for Eren and no time would’ve passed on the outside. Time is not a factor. Eren simply wants his friends to stop him to kill him. He knows exactly how this ends.

You can do this with literally any work of fiction ever. Except people have limited lifespans so writing an infinite what if series is a bit impractical. Not to mention most story writers like consistency. Just write a fanfiction or something.

I really do think that if gabi hadnt shot and decapitated eren, he wouldve turned into a form a little bigger than the collosal titan, but not nearly as big as the hallucigena form. I think the hallucigena was panicking at the sight of eren being decapitated, and just formed a monstrous titan to really ensure his survival, as thats what eren and ymir really wanted. I think this is supported later as the hallucigena struggles and fights as hard as it can when it comes out of erens titan in the manga towards the end.

The only way to save eldia was to do the rumbling, no other options Eren could do would ever work. Eren can't manipulate people who are not eldians and even if he sealed away the Titan powers the countries would still exterminate eldia after Eren's death. The rumbling only delays eldia's destruction by hundreds of years but as we see by the end of the manga eldia was bound to get destroyed anyways. Basically the entire story of AOT was pointless especially when 1900's equipment would absolutely obliterate Titan's as a whole. So many people died....for nothing. Eren also can't go back in time without using the memories of the former Titans, and even so they can only see and hear Eren by him sending memories of him watching the memories of them in the moment. In my opinion about Eren's founding titan is that the large bones in his body are from the centipede and Eren's founding titan is longer in length that's because of how long the centipede coming out from Eren's lower main body to it's head, revealing how long the centipede was, also Eren's founding titan is moving like centipede so it's proves that it's large bones are from the centipede. What I expect is that if Gabi misses eren, the founding titan of Eren would be like Ymir form but different scales.
He could've easily just left the neck of the titan after his regeneration and transformed himself again properly this time, but he probably didn't even mind it, because he was going to complete his objective anyway, and in the end he already knew what was going to happen having decided his fate of sacrificing himself for the good of his friends

Well, the modern army would actually decimate the rumbling due to thousands of jets capable of reaching speeds faster than the speed of sound, and those jets do have great manuverability, meaning they could strike the nape pretty easily. Also we would need about 10,000 nukes to destroy just slightly more than half of humanity, with more ~3,000 nukes to spare, meaning using the nukes will not trigger the extinction of humanity
Welp, first the nuke radiation will spread faster to many country that maybe human extinction will happen. Second, yes jets has more advantage than the wall titan, if there still have a base to land, and wall titan make heat smoke that can destroy small missile.
You can see how the oil barrels or explosives in the Fort Salta part of the special episode don’t damage Eren at all. The alliance mentions warhammer powers. Armin could easily destroy Eren even if Eren was to harden in a normal titan form. Eren isn’t a jumble of bones. Thanks to him stealing the Warhammer titan, Eren is easily defended.

Grisha had to wait till they were doing their ritual to pass on the founding titan. If he attacked earlier the current founding titan would have destroyed him. That's why the new founding titan was someone with zero experience and a weaker body. I think this was explained
In my opinion he made the titan from bones only to make it last for longer. If he had a lot of muscle like the colossal, he would lose it pretty quickly due to steam, and then he'd have to risk leaving the body and making another one.

The wall titans, Bertolt/Armin's Colossal Titan, Rod Reiss's titan, all of them at or above 50 meters tall and all of them were emitting steam constantly. And for the wall titans and Rod Reiss's titans, they were all feral pure titans, meaning their steam emissions were PASSIVE. Thus Eren choosing not to have hi whole form have flesh makes total sense in this regard, the only parts of him that did were his head and lower body, each likely below 50 meters in size.
If titans just showed up out of nowhere, it would first take time for people to figure out to destroy the nape. I imagine people would go for head/chest shots first. If the military eventually figures out the nape weakness or just gets lucky with a nape shot, then precision targeting missles would be sent. If military gets really unlucky without figuring out the nape weakness, nuclear weaponry would be deployed to completely incinerate titans. However the biggest question is: how would modern weaponry fare against hardening. If Eren saw his army targeted by mass bombardment, he'd definitely give a hardening order. If nukes are deployed and still don't work, then the modern military simply would have enhanced the titans with radiation.
The fact Gabi saved all of the people by shooting Eren from his head I mean not all and she also did some other mistakes but like she pays it all off to the list by saving some of those people in the world is just mind blowing
she technically didn't, even with Eren's official form he still would've won if he was trying to, it was revealed he let them win as he wanted to be stopped. So, Gabi didn't save anyone, even if Eren got his giant non-centipede form he would've still let them win.

I’m pretty sure the only reason his deformed founding titan is so big is because when his spine grew from his head, it wasn’t connected to his body so it grew uncontrollably until it reached his body, which is why he’s so large. Modern military would rumble the Rumbling like it's a tutorial mode. Ships and land bases would lanuch thousands of missles from hundreds of kilometers and they would strike with pin point accuracy. One or 2 missles should be enough to kill a colosal and the world has more than a milion missles combined. No need for nukes. And if the world knows to aim at Eren then it will all end with
His founding form with mostly bones is the most optimal for that enormous size. Just think about mass, volume, and density. AoT is fiction but the physical world still has its physics. If Eren’s founding titan had more flesh, it would have been like Rod Reiss’ titan, which could not stand and had to crawl on the ground to barely move. Later in the manga, Eren transformed into a decent colossal titan with hardening power, so it’s safe to say Gabi’s shot did not affect his ability to choose whatever form of titan he wanted.
in reality, upright founding titan is probably worse than centipede eren, as upright eren would have back problems and would take more shock from things such as basic walking (due to his weight), whereas the centipede titan would be able to deal with everything much better. that's why animals run much faster than humans

The modern military has nukes, and would destroy the rumbling in a couple of seconds simply by dropping nukes on it. Not to mention, modern AP rounds from any type of artillery would absolutely shit on them.
Eren's head is shot off his body and the regeneration usually works by regenerating body instead of reattaching. So we will either see him naked like Zeke if he regenerated or his body regenerates into Nere and he is evil.

So to summarise, the only real weapons that could be effective are high explosive ordinance that would be manually fired at an as of yet unknown weak point of a somewhat fast moving target with an iffy chance of hitting the neck, and since nobody would even know that the neck is the weak point the chances of a rocket hitting the neck drops significantly, chances are militaries would focus on the head and chest since that’s what an ordinary creatures weak point would be. And as I stated above, one can be missing pretty much its entire head and be bing chilling. TLDR: So to finish this I would say knowing how they work does matter since the only way to effectively kill a titan is to know its weak point.

They are still roughly human shaped, so the assumption would be they have the same general weakspots. Thus, weapons would be pointed at legs, to stop them from moving or heand/neck to kill them. Lock on? They move in a straight line and slowly at that, there is no need to lock on. And yes, with explosives as powerful as we have, pinpoint accuracy is not even necessary. They move at rapid pace for the show. We have faster than sound planes and missiles flying at hundreds of km/h. Even our tanks are faster than the wall titans. They are basically sitting ducks for our weapons.

Well, if the Rumbling goes in a straight line, and there on Madagascar island I think that most of the world would be safe as the would go over countries that are southern. So countries like Mozambique and drc would be hit but, countries like UK and USA wouldn't be hit due to the curve of the earth. That means they would go round in circles over and over, giving countries with nukes to send a few at a time, and could give survivors of the first round a chance to run up north where it is safe.
about stopping the rumbling, you should have maybe put more than 5 minutes into research my friend. A 1 Megaton nuke can be considered tiny in comparison to what could be built nowadays, or even what we built in the past. Humanity went past 1Mt as early as 1952 (that nuke actually had 10Mt) and the bigest ever tested, the Tsar bomba, was about 50 Mt and had a blast radius of whooping 37 km (it even could have been build up to a 100 Mt.) Seeing that even the weak outdated marlian artillery put holes in the titans, its pretty safe to say that a handful of present day nukes would have sufficed to obliterate the complete rumbling.

Yup, he could have saved his mother but instead it was him who got his mother killed so his younger self would come to hate titans and Marley. He manipulated his own dad into gaining the founder and delivering it into his hands so he can start the rumbling.
My theory is that since Ymir creates all the titans in the paths, and Eren changed her mindset before he transformed. This change in mindset could have inspired her to create a titan so incredibly large that she couldn't finish it in time before Eren fully transformed, or maybe the design was so large that the "Thing" (the centipede god thing) didn't physically have enough energy to create all of it. I'd imagine she wanted Eren's founder to be this big to ensure he was powerful enough to destroy all her oppressors.
Here’s what it actually is. Eren wants to die. His form isn’t actually about power or even function. There is no actual reason why titans die when their heads are cut off. Ymir like with the lifespan of the shifters determined that to be the rule.
Want proof? In the final season it was revealed shifters if practice can regenerate their head by simply moving their consciousness to the rest of their body. Also time is not an issue. All time has passed and all time has yet to happen in that realm. She literally could’ve took 5 million years creating the perfect titan for Eren and no time would’ve passed on the outside. Time is not a factor. Eren simply wants his friends to stop him to kill him. He knows exactly how this ends.

I really do think that if gabi hadnt shot and decapitated eren, he wouldve turned into a form a little bigger than the collosal titan, but not nearly as big as the hallucigena form. I think the hallucigena was panicking at the sight of eren being decapitated, and just formed a monstrous titan to really ensure his survival, as thats what eren and ymir really wanted. I think this is supported later as the hallucigena struggles and fights as hard as it can when it comes out of erens titan in the manga towards the end.

The only way to save eldia was to do the rumbling, no other options Eren could do would ever work. Eren can't manipulate people who are not eldians and even if he sealed away the Titan powers the countries would still exterminate eldia after Eren's death. The rumbling only delays eldia's destruction by hundreds of years but as we see by the end of the manga eldia was bound to get destroyed anyways.
Basically the entire story of AOT was pointless especially when 1900's equipment would absolutely obliterate Titan's as a whole. So many people died....for nothing. Eren also can't go back in time without using the memories of the former Titans, and even so they can only see and hear Eren by him sending memories of him watching the memories of them in the moment. If titans just showed up out of nowhere, it would first take time for people to figure out to destroy the nape. I imagine people would go for head/chest shots first. If the military eventually figures out the nape weakness or just gets lucky with a nape shot, then precision targeting missles would be sent. If military gets really unlucky without figuring out the nape weakness, nuclear weaponry would be deployed to completely incinerate titans.
However the biggest question is: how would modern weaponry fare against hardening. If Eren saw his army targeted by mass bombardment, he'd definitely give a hardening order. If nukes are deployed and still don't work, then the modern military simply would have enhanced the titans with radiation.

Sure Eren would be much bigger than a normal titan having the full powered founding titan, probably as big as founder Ymir which is bigger than the colossal so around 70m, but I don’t think over 500 m is correct. I’m pretty sure the only reason his deformed founding titan is so big is because when his spine grew from his head, it wasn’t connected to his body so it grew uncontrollably until it reached his body, which is why he’s so large. But that’s just a theory I’ve heard online

His founding form with mostly bones is the most optimal for that enormous size. Just think about mass, volume, and density. AoT is fiction but the physical world still has its physics. If Eren’s founding titan had more flesh, it would have been like Rod Reiss’ titan, which could not stand and had to crawl on the ground to barely move. Later in the manga, Eren transformed into a decent colossal titan with hardening power, so it’s safe to say Gabi’s shot did not affect his ability to choose whatever form of titan he wanted.

And also Ballistic missiles do deal damage don’t get me wrong and I’m sure they could blow off a limb or two if they hit it bang on but without ripping the neck to shreds any damage dealt to the titans is negligible since it won’t die unless the nape is destroyed (even more so since I’m pretty sure wall titans have healing capabilities, might be wrong about that but I think they do, I mean in the anime one titan was literally missing pretty much its entire head and it still kept moving) additionally without anyway for those missiles to lock onto the neck specifically or have such a high explosive yield that accuracy is irrelevant and always destroys the nape. they would have to be manually fired at a target that (as stated in the video) moves at a pretty rapid pace.
So to summarise, the only real weapons that could be effective are high explosive ordinance that would be manually fired at an as of yet unknown weak point of a somewhat fast moving target with an iffy chance of hitting the neck, and since nobody would even know that the neck is the weak point the chances of a rocket hitting the neck drops significantly, chances are militaries would focus on the head and chest since that’s what an ordinary creatures weak point would be. And as I stated above, one can be missing pretty much its entire head and be bing chilling.
TLDR: So to finish this I would say knowing how they work does matter since the only way to effectively kill a titan is to know its weak point.

And yes, with explosives as powerful as we have, pinpoint accuracy is not even necessary.
They move at rapid pace for the show. We have faster than sound planes and missiles flying at hundreds of km/h. Even our tanks are faster than the wall titans. They are basically sitting ducks for our weapons.

Well, if the Rumbling goes in a straight line, and there on Madagascar island I think that most of the world would be safe as the would go over countries that are southern. So countries like Mozambique and drc would be hit but, countries like UK and USA wouldn't be hit due to the curve of the earth. That means they would go round in circles over and over, giving countries with nukes to send a few at a time, and could give survivors of the first round a chance to run up north where it is safe.

about stopping the rumbling, you should have maybe put more than 5 minutes into research my friend. A 1 Megaton nuke can be considered tiny in comparison to what could be built nowadays, or even what we built in the past. Humanity went past 1Mt as early as 1952 (that nuke actually had 10Mt) and the bigest ever tested, the Tsar bomba, was about 50 Mt and had a blast radius of whooping 37 km (it even could have been build up to a 100 Mt.)
Seeing that even the weak outdated marlian artillery put holes in the titans, its pretty safe to say that a handful of present day nukes would have sufficed to obliterate the complete rumbling.
I personally think that erens titan might be different from maybe what his titan wouldve been if he didnt get 360 no scoped by Ms. bratty. But I think that his titan was so large and so much steam formed from the transformation, that his fleshed burned off his titan form.
