What's the compression ratio and cams? Can you also tell me what the injector duty % got to? I'm trying to swap out my K20A for something like this but I bought 1050x injectors. That grassroots head-work showed up!
You could easily make that power with that setup with 12.5-1 compression, just my .02 cents. That motor is a BEAST!!! I bet he's got at least $12,000 under the hood, header alone is $1,500 or more. Did it right the first time for sure.
I'd say easily $10,000 before tuning just under the hood. Header is at least $1,400.00. Longblock with head, cams, internals, pistons and rods at least $6-7,000.00 depending on brand of internals. Intake manifold, $7-800.00. Then clutch, accessories, etc. Pricing the same build now for a 2005 RSX Type S and I'm around $15,000.00 for everything including labor. Hondata alone with right ECU is over a grand. Kseries builds are expensive as nuts if you want this kind of power.
@@heavyonthepedal7141 yeah but thats because a mint rsx type s alone will run you 10k easy. Even with millwork done to the header and the block bored out, I doubt he has 10-12k in the motor alone, at that point it'd be cheapee to go turbo or just buy a car thats faster to begin with.
@justinbobby I’m late Bobby but I’ve been pricing this build for two years. I’ve got a super clean RSX Type S with low miles. I love Mustangs, vettes, Camaros, Chargers, even older cars, but new cars are expensive all around. 4Piston racing sells a street block K24/K20 complete that runs $8,000. Send your motor in for a build like this and you’re looking at at least 6,500-7,000 for pistons, rods, cams, springs and retainers, headwork, blockwork and assembly. Then you need injectors, intake manifold, header, gaskets, timing parts/new chains, it adds up quick. You can build a turbo car almost as cheap as an all motor K24/K20, just a preference. A built motor making anywhere over 300 at the wheels is an easy low 12/high 11 second car and that puts you in some fast company. With my car as donor I’d need a $13-15,000 budget to do the build to make close to this power level. Car is paid off and it’s tempting but it’s like any other motor build, it gets expensive fast and this kid bought all top shelf parts. That intake manifold is an $800 piece by itself, shortblock all by itself is $3-4,000. Head with portwork would be $12-1,500 and cams/springs/retainers is another $12-1,600, depending on brand. Going fast is not cheap but an all motor 2.4 liter 4-cylinder motor making 340-360 at the crank is pretty awesome.
I'm in the process of doing a k24/k20 EG... k24a4 bottom with k20z3 head. I bought the k24a4 complete with subframe and auto trans etc for $300 delivered to my house. Bought the k20z3 head for $250. Type s trans for $800. Tucked harness $600. Skunk2 ultra race intake with 2L spacer and 90mm throttle body $1300. Fic 1000cc injectors $450. Skunk2 timing cover $350. Walbro 450 $130. All steel braided brake and fuel lines $500. Tucked engine bay fuel lines $200. Aeromotive AFPR $200. Hybrid racing fuel rail $200. ATI street damper $350. Type S oil pump kit $500. ARP head studs $150. Forged pistons + forged lightweight rods $1000. DC stage 4 cams $1000. Supertech head package (coated + stainless valves, titanium retainers, guides etc) $800. Mounts $500. Full 3" exhaust (vibrant resonator + vibrant muffler with Kteller stainless piping) $500 (not including materials to weld it together). Acuity shifter $400. 3" header $400. Radiator and hoses $500. All new timing components $500. This is not including machine work, or the miscellaneous stuff like the shifter cables, gaskets, nuts and bolts (can get crazy and spend $700 on downstar hardware), brackets like the shifter cable brackets, AC/PS delete brackets, CRV timing side bracket, shifter plate, clutch and axles, clutch line, upper coolant housing and thermostat housing, and a bunch of other stuff that has probably cost me upwards of 5 grand. Long story short, send your kid(s) to college instead man.
FYI, I will be trying to document the build on my channel since I have never documented any of my previous builds other than on Instagram. The engine is currently at the machine shop and the shell is in Utah getting body work and paint done, but once they are back in AZ, I will be starting that journey. If that intrigues you, give me a follow man 💪🏽
@@EBTEC dang I don't know when I cross the line of street cars I think a hood and a rear dumped exaust is on my list lol I run a full exaust with a rear facing dump by the rear wheels in my ek to pass emissions to be a street car
I got the same build in my ek Prayoonto racing full grass roots bottom end and head and there stage 4 cams it’s a beast 💪💪💪
That's some dam good power
Making 300 on all motor K is like what it was to make 200 all motor on a B - epic.
The K begins where the B ends
Truly a beautiful piece of art
Whoever does your videos is a fool with the camera & beat selection every time.
Im that guy.. Much appreciated brotha.. I try..
@@KHRIS718 you make the best dyno videos period.
@@_Keir I'm humbled by your comment.. Thank you..
Dam she gone fly ... nice build .
I need this exact build in my s2k
Thanx for the awesome tune man👍
What is your mods list in this video for internals? Cams? Comp?
Wheres the videos been guys always loved watching all these videos
More coming
Why not go 4 piston? They have stoopid heads and the exhaust is nice but it could live with a full exhaust
Sick tune and nice ride
Still killing shit I see 💪🏾
What pistons and rods? What was the compression???
Thing makes so much power it has self rotating v-bands. 1:20
Was the injectors to big couldn’t he just run like 1000cc? Just wondering why he went with 1700cc for the set up.. Whats the duty cycle ?
🔥🔥🔥
What was done to the block?! And what comp as well?! And what fuel pump he used?!
I wanna know too
Good power think the hood exit is over kill thou can make that power with full exhaust still
Fuckin clamp spinning from alll the powaaa
I need for my honda element!
Good power for e85. Its at least a 2.5 liter.
preludeF20Bking 2.409 liters with it being 88x99.
^^^^. K24 are 2.35 L in 87x99 stock form
damn anyone else catch that clamp spinning around !
Jose Cuevas vanjen clamps can spin while being tight still. If it was a normal v band there would be reason to worry lol
sweeeeet fucking jesus 😳

ill save 8 grand and just do a mild turbo build. runs like crazy but not my cup of tea/beer
All motor is not for everyone lol. However power wise it would be a 500+whp turbo car to keep up
Lol I wish this was around 8 grand. That header and intake set up alone are about 3k.
You guys left out 1 thing, what cams are you running?
Had some drag cartels, has some.prayontoos in it now.
Damn spinning to 9k 😩
Wow 👏 😮 where the shop located??
Powder Springs, GA
what cams?
This In A Gutted CRX
#FloridaBoys
What’s the cost of this engine setup?
Skunk2 Ultra race or Skunk2 Ultra Street???
Ultra race
What shift assembly is that?
maybe dont blast music when the car starts, we might want to hear that...
Noted
Does he daily drive with that header
Nah.. it's more so his weekend warrior..
Can I buy it?
Why 2 widebands?
One is monitoring for the gauge in the car the other is for the dyno itself..
Sometimes one cant be trusted 😂
EBTEC whats best way to tell if your tune has changed or the wideband sensor is bad?
clamp on the intake rotated.
It sure did.. sound vibrations from an all motor car is no joke..
All motor>turbo civic 💨💨
Bro for sale?
Stock bottom end?
No..
@@EBTEC what cam?

It says e85 on the video
E98
