I have been a Synthmaster user for several years now. With 1 and 2. I was hard pressed to run out of sounds to use or create. With 3, OMG! 3 is a synth, I think, that one could build a whole career around, both sound designing and making music. It has so many different ways to make and manipulate musical sounds. I'm very glad to have watched this video. It showed me a lot more about this instrument than what I have discovered on my own so far. I've been using it since the first alpha version was out for testing (they offered it to us as a very low-cost upgrade from 2, I'm guessing to raise funds to finish development of 3). It is not easy being a small shop like they are. Hell, if I had the money, I would offer to fund a good, wide-reaching marketing campaign. It think that it is really worth it and the electronic music world needs to know about this instrument. Yeah, I agree 100%, Bulent is a DSP/synth coding genius. I always suspected that the Synthmaster team was small but, I had no idea is was just two people doing all of that coding and UI design. It is no damn wonder it took them so much longer than they had originally thought it would take. An instrument of this depth, complexity, and versatility must have truly been a monster to tame.
This is my favorite synth now. It is extremely deep, but still very easy to use. Licensing is simple, the company is a joy to work with, Bulent is very responsive on KVR and often fixed things overnight during beta. And the sound is fantastic, very natural and my ears just love it (and they are picky as hell... ;-) ). Thank you KV331
Glad that I can run all the SM1 and SM2 patches in one VST. Will simplify my workflow, and as I reduce the number of synths, SM3 will be my main synth going forward, as it has more sounds than I'd use in 100 years anyway.
way better modern synth than all the Native Instruments stuff... (NI has killed: Battery, Absynth, FM8, Massive 1, B4 Organ etc ...) Shame on you NI ! I don´t trust you anymore. Now I support the wonderful small KV331 team! what a great Synth"master 3" !! yes, highly recommend.
So many presets on SynthMaster 2 i am afraid to even open it.i have it on iOS and it is glitching out and taking a while to load presets and i have the newest model with m4 chip. I hope they fox it and release three soon for iOS not only does it have insane number of patches but it sounds great.
@@kv331audio on my side as soon as I double click and load the presets it crashes both on the Studio PC and on the Laptop the result is the same for that specific preset
Great plugin but sure hope they have improved the dreadful licensing and user validation aspects. I deleted all Synthmaster stuff from my Mac mini because the license process was just infuriating and buggy
If you are referring to not being able to type in user details during authorization on MacOS, that issue is fixed now. Also, if SM1/SM2/Player is already installed, SM3 now reads the license details from those and authorizes behind the scenes. We added this to improve "user experience" :)
Their synths are capable of some very nice sounds, but prior long-standing bugginess in their other synths has soured me on this developer. Best of luck.
They are a different beast. Vital is awesome. I just know I use different synths for their different strengths. I love SM3 Organ sounds and additive effects. I use Hive 2 for its modulation.
I'm close to buying this but I'm more keen for the IOS version. Does anyone know if there's a discount on ios version if you also buy the desktop version? And also can desktop patches be loaded into the ios version?

I hear you cannot use the preset loops/sounds in commercial tracks, if true bit strange that one?

Looks quite dated in the UI. Nothing should have an interface like that, it looks like it's from 10+ years ago.

Dead On Arrival on Mac, I get this message and then Ableton Live crashes: Could not create directory:
/Users/Shared/SynthMaster3/CloudSync
Get a PC, Ableton 8/9/10 still works on Win10/11 but won't run on a modern MAC 😉
