After the first video you put out showing these decks, I had been working on building a rogues deck and asked Mrs to get me this one. 😁 Excited to experience this one. 👍
Yeah, I saw Gavin Verhey mention that they were supposed to be balanced against each other. I don't know if that claim will hold up, but maybe it explains why the Mono Green Deck was changed so much? Not sure!
Yeah, this is just the unedited deck, so you can find the decklist (as well as the decklis for the other decks) here: magic.wizards.com/en/articles/archive/feature/challenger-decks-2021-02-12
I have an idea for upgrading this deck if you have any knowledge of what to take out and what to put in, maybe cunning nightbonder because one, she is a rogue, and second, a lot of cards in this deck have flash and she would greatly reduce their cost and make it so they can’t be countered
Not going to lie, I kind of forgot about Cunning Nightbonder. Slitherwisp isn't a rogue but the card draw could be really good in this deck as well. I think for my upgrade guide I'll stick to the proven Tier 1 decks, but I kind of want to try these in my own Arena deck now. :)
Haha, yeah, this one is pretty good. The Mono-Red and Azorius decks are both good too, but need a bit of upgrading, and the Green one needs a ton of expensive cards to fix.
One of the best cards against Aggro is Nighthawk Scavenger. The lifegain is huge and makes it really hard for them to keep up. Also, try to be aware of Embercleave - it's one of mono red aggro's deadliest threats, but this deck has a lot of instant-speed removal. So don't use your instants on your turn. Let them try to cast embercleave, then kill the creature they attach it to.
Definitely! They're the best pre-built decks you can buy, and if you're not playing Standard format, you can technically buy any Challenger Deck you want. No need to restrict yourself to the 2021 batch. :) Some of the older ones are still really cheap, especially last year's. They were released right as the lockdowns went into place, so no one bought them because they couldn't use them.
Think you misplayed the very first play you did. TFE would have been the better turn one play since you could mill two on that play and then every turn after mill with the merfolk coming into play
I think that is the only deck i'll buy this year. Hope you will do an upgrade video for those. Keep up the good work!
It's a good one, in my opinion! And yes, I'll be doing upgrade guides when they're released. :)
yes! exactly what i needed!
Nice! I'll be playing the other 3 decks soon. :)
great vid, glad you played/demonstrated it at Plat rank.
keep them coming 🎆
Thanks! More incoming! :)

Eff yeah man!
👍👍👍
Nice! I've been having fun with the deck personally! :)
@@TabooX1984 I remember you asked me to play Dimir Rogues. I get it, it's fun! :P
Looking forward to an upgrade guide for this year’s decks. I really appreciated your advice for Final Adventure last year.
Awesome! I'm hoping to have them out close to release time. :)
Fun games man 👍
I'm kinda curious how they play against each other.

Last year out of the box Cavalcade steam rolled everything else in my experience. But upgraded FA was way more fun mechanically and thematically IMO.
A Upgrade Video with the ruin crab change the Lands....
Yay more gameplay for this deck also do a dmir rogue upgrade
I like it enough that, even if I don't do gameplay with the Challenger decks, I might make a video with the Ruin Crab version of the deck for fun. :)
The Challenger decks drop next month right?
Yeah, March 26th is the current release date. :)
Can you please tell me the cards you used I am thinking about getting this deck :) good vid

What do you think the best deck is out of the 4?
Oh oops i just heard you say it 😅

How would u play this against an red aggro deck ? Do u stand a chance ?

@@AffinityforMTG thx alot m8 it has been rlly usefull
I don't play mtg very seriously, just with friends. Is it worth it to buy one of these decks?

misplayed in first and second play....
