Congrats Dustin and thank you for stepping up to serve your country! Gotta agree with you Jeff, I too think the '67 Shelby was the best looking and combined all of the best elements.
Hey I just found this video after buy that exact steering wheel came with no instructions (couldn’t figure out turn signal cancel).. thank you so much!’
Hi Thanks for the video. I have an original FIV Secura steering wheel for a shelby mustang. The Horn button says American Shelby and does not have the snake logo. Wondering if you have come across anything like this in your research?
I would imagine that it may be one that was sold through their aftermarket parts program. Shelby had a pretty burgeoning business selling just the parts.
Dustin congrats on entering the USAF. I live near your current temporary home at Lackland AFB Tx. If you or your family need some Mustang time when you graduate contact me.
where all AF here,my daughter is stationed at Lackland. Dont meen to pry if His parents (you ?) can come to his basic graduation its a good long weekend (Thurs-Sun) and it's a great decompress for your new Airman.
Thank you and yours for your service to our country Lance! I am pretty sure that they plan to jet out there for that. Thanks for the heads up and no, you aren't prying!
+TheAndyPKay Not at this time. The medallion can be removed, and another 1 5/8 medallion put in its place. That is what we plan to do with the one we have.
That wheel looks really nice but man old steering wheels were massive. They should make a very slightly smaller one so it looks authentic but is a bit more modern.
+GamersBar Many of the classic cars were not power assisted and the larger the wheel the more "assist" the wheel will deliver thus reducing steering effort. The wheel is 15.5 inch in diameter, same as the stock wheel to achieve that assist.
+Tarit Prasartseree Well if we get a Shelby we'll definitely do the belts. Thanks for the kind words and for whacking the like button. We ALWAYS appreciate heads up and critiques on the show. Jeff works on the edit by himself for now so mistakes can and will be made =).
+Howard White HAHAHAHA. Yep, We were wanting to show that you could put that sexy wheel in anything '65-67. BUT that wheel will be going in the Falcon...Like we hope a 331 and Vrotec supercharger and five speed will. =)

Great new product for the Mustang market. Thanks for your hard work and dedication to AutoRestoMod Dustin, and good luck in the Air Force!
I think you guys deserve much more credit for your channel and videos. great info.
+Alex Green Thanks Alex! We appreciate the complement.

+Lance Howlett From Jeff: He's deep in basic as of 3/16/16. If he is anything like most of the guys I know he'll want a lot when he gets done! LOL

Installed my grant sreering wheel and after connecting the horn it started to smoke . What would cause that?
Usually it is a positive wire connecting somewhere in the upper part of the column.
Lovely wheel but do they not do a centre with standard mustang logo?

+AutoRestoMod Muscle Car Resto and Modifications where would I find a suitable medallion?
We'd recommend looking at stick on Mustang wheel centers. BUT they are usually 2 inch. Make sure that the logo is within the 1 5/8 inch size.

GT3500??
+Tarit Prasartseree Thanks for the heads up Tarit. That stuff was done late last night. Going to fix it now.
+AutoRestoMod Muscle Car Resto and Modifications I love your show and alway hit like button.
I want you to show how to install 67 shelby "Y" belt. 😁

Lemme get this straight. A $600.00+ steering wheel in a 1964 Falcon??? Really? Don't get me wrong, nice piece of kit.

Nice, but it should come in 13" and 14" as well.
Never know one day it might!
First! :)
