Agree with people bashing the "Grip Zone" lettering, I dont care... my XD Mod. 2 is one of most comfortable pistol I like to shoot. Excellent firearm all around, I have the sub-compact 9mm model. I'm looking to get the 4" service model down the road. I think the XD Mod. 2 and the new M&P 2.0 are the best polymer firearms on the market now, price wise for what you get.

I’m more of a Sig P320 fan. The modularity of frames and the ability to change sizes of frame and calibers is pretty cool. I have a .45 ACP version, I enjoy it immensely.

I bought a slightly used FDE/Black XD45 subcompact, came with a plastic case, speed loader, magazine and weapon holsters, one 9 rd and one 13 round magazines, bore brush, lock and spare replacement sights….came with a Streamlight TLR-6 light. Great weapon, love the accessories.

I have the XD9 Mod2 Service, XDs45 3.3, XDm45 4.5 and they are all great pistols. I carry the XD9 Mod2 Service way more than my other pistols which include a Colt 1911 Series 70 and S&W 586 .357 mag. I have no issues carrying a full size revolver or pistol. I prefer them.
I really want one of these. I could forgive SA for the lobbying fiasco from a couple years ago, and I'm not naive about what it probably takes for a gun manufacturer to do business in Illinois. So I'm not angry at them for giving money to anti-gun politicians. And I don't begrudge anyone who buys a SA firearm. I love my xd -45acp I going to get me a xd-40 my 45 is everyday carry I put a trl-h1 light on my 45 and Tru glow trigcon sits on my 45 and I love it That’s a lot better than the original sites that came on the gun
Just picked up one of these today in 9mm. I had a choice between the xd and the Sig p320 I well chose the xd because felt better in the hands seams a little slimmer and I herd good things about them being reliable. I'm shure the Sig is good to but I like xd a little better.
How is the xd holding up? The funy thing is I was looking at the mo 2 a while ago back when I was looking for a 45 and the mod 2 45 did not feal right in my hands like the hump on the back was to much hump. But this 9 just picked up feals great. My first handgun ever was an older xd years ago that thing ran like a champ. Hope they are still built like tanks.

Choose the XD Mod.2 either in 9 mm or 45 ACP. You can’t go wrong with either one it’s a great pistol fun at the range and very comfortable and very concealable!
Hope you're using snap caps when dry firing that pistol, that roll pin that holds the firing pin actuator will not take too much hammering from dry firing till it cracks.

Springfield is very efficient with the sizing of their 45 acp polymer guns, and yet they leave you with a very comfortable shooting experience.

The GRIP ZONE stamp looks dumb as hell but that doesn't detract from the performance or the comfort of the piece.

I have both the subcompact XD and full size XD in 45 ACP. Hundreds of rounds through both and not one hiccup.
