#Midjourney #AI #viral - Навчання та стиль
I love the premise of having A.I reimagine your older projects and think you should absolutely do this again. I wouldn’t be mad at a full series based on this idea.
This type of approach would probably take John's projects to the next level.
@@jayedwin98020 it would definitely be a GREAT way to push your own boundaries and force yourself as an artist to not only improve your current skills, but also push you to acquire new ones and think outside the box on how to make something work from a logical standpoint. i think he definitely should do this again in the future and go even bigger with the scale of the project lol
The side by sides wld be so cool
Absolutely!! I’d love if you could make this a series, very cool and nice to see you so pumped to improve on past projects 😄
I particularly love the way the light falls through the resin to warp the colour of the floor below. It looks like a lagoon on the floor, too!
This is HANDS DOWN one of your sickest, coolest, most freaking UNREAL things you've ever built!!! I watched this one with my wife and she was smiling and wowing right along with me! Outdid yourself, good luck topping this one and YOU THE MAN for giving it to Chris!! 10k thumbs up!
Absolutely, fantastic work
😅😮
I feel like this is exactly what Midjourney is good for. Coming up with concepts and ideas that get the artist on the right path when coming up with their next project. With that said, this build turned out fantastic and you really nailed it. Some of your best work to date.
agreed. I've seen many creative blocks that could have been aided by stable diffusion
It's only good because someone can't just copy his design, print a table and sell it. They actually have to get the tools, knowledge and materials and get their hands dirty haha.
I'm a geologist and I think that is the coolest table I have ever seen. Awesome job, both with the table and the video. I would wrestle Chris for it but he would kick my ass. Thank you for sharing.
I drive a truck, and i think so too
And I drive a truck as well. @@TehSWEED
I think the single best use thus for for AI in the creative sphere is exactly what you've done here. Take a great human-generated idea, feed it to an AI that can iterate, and then use that as a springboard to build something unique. Your designs and regular builds aren't EVER lacking, but this is a very cool avenue to explore. I love seeing your take.
This absolutely needs to be a series.....
John's impossible AI builds.
Totally freaking nailed this dude, this looks absolutely awesome fantastic work 🤘🤘
Whew, even with power tools, the new cave table must've been a tedious process to carve. It turned out pretty slick though, and the AI generated concept pieces are all pretty cool, too.
You should definitely use AI to generate more design concepts for more builds in the future.
Table is absolutely amazing. But what you did at the end shows truly what kind of man you are. Great job John.
This definitely needs to become a thing. Honestly it's the best thing i have seen you make on this channel. You couldn't have made the wood look more rock like in a thousand years.
What I enjoy about your videos is the candid way you without ego in a self-effacing humorus disarming manner put yourself out there. You start projects seemingly without knowing the outcome and are willing to fail semi-publicly and laugh at yourself. This outcome was in my estimation one of your best to date I love it and would find space in my home ? for this ?. Congrat. Ray Stormont
This is something that @BobbyDukeArts would also rock! His carving skills would take this to another level! Very nice
Absolutely beautiful, remarkable how well the resin worked out. ❤
Correct choice in conversing with Blake, he’s the master at wood/resin sculpting, and his tire thread sculptures.
Been using the full crafting of both tables and weapons for ASMR for the past few weeks, and I'm glad to find a group that has 1 - great explanations for crafting newbs, 2 - enjoyable banter between the audience and the crew. Definitely subscribing.
This is how AI should be used in tandem with artists and creators. Love it!!! Some people have skills but not so good with coming up with ideas so they can benefit greatly with AI. It's not meant to replace but to help and aid ❤
One word.... AMAZING!!! This looks like it had to be one of the hardest, most hands on, and sick builds you have ever done! Well done! Can't wait to see what you reimagine next! Thank you!
Beautiful! I love the idea of letting AI give you the idea for the shape. I actually love the fact you then did everything yourself, instead of having a CNC cut everything. I’m certain it was a TON of work. In the end, the table is so amazing. And it went to a great home too! Thanks John and team!
This turned out so epic. I think the "Teeth" looking table would be cool too. You could use acrylic as waterfalls (saliva drips) to support that side.
This was badass. I would love to see a series of AI builds honestly. The amount of detail that went into this was unreal. Absolutely worth it
I've never wanted to try power carving before this. That looks awesome!
This is phenomenal! I thought the original cave table was good but this is just next level. I always feel super inspired after watching your videos, so thank you for that.
It's cool to see a new way for artists to push themselves out of their comfort zones. I know it's hard for me to picture stuff in my head but if you already saw it and try to emulate it could open up a lot
You absolutely crushed this build. The design and carving skills here are out of this world!
It looks pretty good but the AI version you were going off of looked so much better. I think the biggest difference is that you carved it with too large of details and you made it look more like stacked rocks instead of a naturally eroded cave.
You uploaded so early that I haven't been to bed yet 😅💕
John that Cave table is sick. And just to be clear AI did not build that - YOU did! I so want to build one of my own now. I enjoy watch ing you go through the process of figuring these projects out. I cannot wait until your next build. I hope to see lots more like this from you and your shop. Excellent job
@25:50 honestly it looks like a table that should be in the live action Flintstones movie!
Great build! Is it just me or did it look even more rock-like when you had the cuts go only horisontally? Easy for me to say but could you have shaped separate stalactites/gmites and glue them on at the end? It went towards more of a flintstone look with the rounded structures. I'd like to see more of this AI stuff please!
That mother table is NOT REAL!!! 😂😂😂
Props to John for being such a good boss. Not only has he mentored and allowed 2 employees under his wings (def not the eagles) to prosper on their own, but he continues to recognize his new/current employees. Insanely sick build, y'all really knocked it out the park and Chris really deserves it. Congrats to everyone!
I have to say, that is the most radical and beautiful project I've seen you do John. Not to take away from any of your other projects, but this was WAY over the top. It's stunning, simply stunning. Great job!!
Make this a new series on the channel!! Absolutely loved it, and think you should do a bunch of your older stuff you’ve made in future episodes
That’s probably the single coolest build I’ve ever seen on UA-cam! Inspirational!
That disc tool turned out to be THE tool that makes this piece come together, giving it that rough organic look, while retaining that layered appearance that you liked from your #2. I know a whole lot of nothing when it comes to stuff like this, but the moment you hit that rough-out with that tool it popped for me.
Did you consider cnc the slices then glueing up slices rather than carving the whole thing? Would help with the more difficult ai outputs
I love when people use those both proper way, as an visualization or design enhancement tools. That table looks sic!
Can I be a PITA and request like 20 seconds of more b-roll?? You guys put SO much time into these damn things and I don't think the end clips are long enough/enough of em to do it justice. Like, these should have Nerdforge amounts of b-roll at the end.
13:55 you were getting the realistic rock texture from the AI image, it was starting to look amazing. as soon as you started to make it look like stacked rocks or a rock wall it just became a bit cartoony. its like 'what you think rocks look like' not rocks. Would also have been amazing to have lights inside to light up the cavern!
This is now my favorite video! I'd love to see a long version of this time-lapse footage. Nice work man! You're on to something with this new tool👍👍👍
This is bloody awesome! Great job well done!
I love this build, style, and premis to the video! As someone who enjoys doing something and learning how to make it even better the next time around, this made me super happy!
This was a super cool project. It came out great. I would for sure put that in my house. I would like to see more projects like this.
This is a fantastic project and I particularly love how AI was used to inspire - there is a tremendous amount of negativity (some justified) around AI in creative works, but this is a great way to show how useful it can be as another tool to use.
Wow, incredible build. Definitely we need more AI inspired projects from you John.
That table came out awesome! John, that was so cool that you gave it to your employee! What a great boss!
Easily, hands down, 1 of your best-looking projects to date, that thing is awesome, congrats Chris.
Im almost positive that this was the intent with making those AI programs. something to help people get creative ideas, not replace anyone or do the work for you. And damn, it looks incredible.
absolutely gorgeous. Im curious, on some of those other AI tables they had really complex shapes in the rocks. Would CNC'ing not work? I could just see CNC doing an epic job with the base and cave opening while you free hand the top to make it match.
please make this a series, these builds are awesome
ive always liked the idea of wood working, but nothing has gotten me more interested in it than this channel
This is one of, if not the, most beautiful man-made things I've ever seen in my life. Well done. And also, way to be an awesome human being.
Yes build more. Love it.
Dude that to date is one of the coolest if not the coolest thing you've built. Not that all your other stuff isn't, its just that one takes the cake. The amount of time and energy you put into it really shows. Very awesome job and yes you should do more of these. I love caves and exploring them so this was awesome for me to watch. The fact that you gave to Chris to was really awesome. Two thumbs way up!
This is incredible, and I'd definitely like to see more AI designed furniture. I would have gone for a rougher finish to the table to really give the illusion of stone
With how clear your pour went, I would have polished it to show off. Beautiful table. The work you put into it shows for sure.
This video was so freaking awesome!! This concept should become a series. I would watch you make all those other designs as well.
Do more of this, forever, don’t stop, no halt, full speed ahead. God damn this was savage.
That turned out amazing!
I just built a table with live edge on the oak and the epoxy. I left the epoxy a little hazy to mimic sea glass. The oak part was very pitted so I had to fill the voids with epoxy. And the client wanted it to look like driftwood. So all in all, it was a huge success. Your table looks like I need to step up my game!
This was a joy to watch. Love seeing you push yourself John. Thanks
That is just UNBELIEVABLY cool - incredible work, John & Co!!!
The "John cam" is great and I would love to see more of it. I don't do any woodworking. I never have. I started watching more UA-cam at the start of lockdown in the US and found a few woodworking channels that I still watch every video of today. You're one of my favorites.
The "John cam" gives me a perspective I've never had and I would love to see a full build like that. I don't expect that video because wearing that camera throughout a full build would probably be miserable but I just want you to understand how much I enjoyed it. Even mundane things would be be neat to see from that POV.
It's definitely my favorite sculpture table that you have built yet. Awesome job!
That table is unreal. Your best work. That table couldn't even go into my house as my house would be unworthy of it's presence. Keep up the great work!!
I think it looks great. If you do it again, might I suggest adding a lake or stream at the bottom or another table to look like an underwater cave
Super sick man. Incredible build!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥
New into carpentry and woodworking, this was so incredibly inspiring to watch. Amazing work
Now do a massive full size dining room cave table
Agreed with sooo many other comments, you need to do a series on this. Dude! AI Beginner, Intermediate, Professional build video would be SICKKKKK! Make it happen boys!
I've been watching your videos for years and finally felt compelled to leave my first comment. Without question, I think this is your best build to date. Well done!
I like the designs with the perfectly flat outsides cause it looks like you cut out a section of cave from somewhere and use it as a table vs the trying to make it look like a cave all around.
John that has to be the best piece of furniture you have ever done. It's amazing. I personally would have preferred the resin clear and I would have put some small led lights inside to light up your carving.
Definitely think you should do more of this AI furniture cause you definitely have the talent.
That is AWESOME. I would love to see it with a few undermount LED's. Very subtle ones to create that lighting effect in the AI drawing. That said, it's insane just the way it is. So nice of your to give it to Chris. Very cool.
Wow, this looks awesome! Tons of work and a lot of time, but I really like how you break it down into smaller tasks that make it seem like something that normal people *might* be able to do.
Yes, I love this concept of rebuilding with AI improvements!
This is the best video you have made for a while and I think it’s because you actually built something. All these viral fade videos are ok but the videos of you actually building something unique is why the vast majority of us subscribed in the first place.
that turned out amazing!
I would love a weight pre and post carving/sanding... I feel like you took half the material away, in a good way, and am just curious how much was actually removed.
Definitely my favorite project you've done. Love this table.
That is amazing, I bloody love it. The process of getting to the finished product is almost as amazing as the final piece.
Nicely done. Would using different types of wood blocks to give different colors be possible? For example, adding some Purple Heart blocks to the interior of the cave to give contrast to the exterior.
This was definitely AMAZING!!! You did a great job shaping the whole thing and it’s just awesome.
Super cool project idea. Just a thought, perhaps dry fitting the top and bottom pieces together with dowels on the 4 corners would have made it easier to keep the two sections aligned while carving them independently and before gluing them up. Then when they were glued up they would line up precisely. You wouldn't have to worry about them slipping out of place when clamping.
Oh that turned out super cool! I think a version of this with deep sea fish in a bottom of the ocean cave could be super cool too! With like leds, since many deep sea fish have bioluminecent parts.
Looks awesome. I would love to see you AI some of your other builds
This is one of the coolest tables I've ever seen. I love it.
Great work, top to bottom, from everyone involved.
That's one wicked table, definitely do more of them.
That is absolutely beautful. So nice that you gave it to Chris!
I believe you should have AI design all of your projects. This is the sickest thing you've ever built on UA-cam.
Probably my favorite build you've done. Absolutely impressive.
Waterfall cave table would be an incredible piece. A pump running up one of the legs then funneling down a hole and into the bottom cave. Glass top over the water feature to finish it off. Very glad I saw this video
It’s absolutely beautiful love it.
Definitely should do more of these
This worked absolutely great. I think the only possible way to get it closer to the AI pictures would be to bring in a professional woodcarving artist to do some final touches. Looks awesome!
I noticed you were extra excited during this build. Great job!
I'm suuuper glad the final shots were covered up by thumbnails for other videos.
That is an amazing table. I think having the resin clear would be even better, but the table is badass!
Your powercarving skills have clearly improved a lot. I'm surprised at how well this turned out. Looks great. You might want to do more of this type of thing. You seem to have a knack for it.
Dude.....awesome. Amazing job sir.
Was nice to see someone use AI in a respectable manner, you didn't just straight copy it, but used it for inspiration, and even fed it some of your work so that it was trying to create something in line with your style.
I would encourage you to describe it as AI INSPIRED not as AI built or AI Designed but otherwise a great video
This looks truly amazing, great job as always to you and the team. This has definitely given me inspiration going forward, Thank you x
I just can't get enough of this channel right now :D
